Armand Hammer's United World College is one
of 7 colleges around the world. Colleges offer
the International Baccalaureate Degree Program
for a 2yr program. Regular community service
and wildness training are a main requirement
for the program. Not more than one-quarter of
any college's students may come from the nation
in which the college exists. These colleges
are free to the students.

Dear Mr. Secretary:
President Theodore D. Lockwood of the Armand Hammer United World College
in Montezuma, New Mexico (on the outskirts of Las Vegas, New Mexico) has
asked me to invite you to be the principal speaker at dinner on Saturday evening,
Nov. 14th
October 24, 1992. The dinner will take place at the Quail Run Resort in Santa
Fe, New Mexico. Its occasion is the tenth anniversary of the college's founding.
We expect roughly 200 people, or 100 couples. You would be speaking only two
weeks before election day, in your own Southwest, in the nation's oldest capitol
city, at the invitation of a uniquely international school. The choice of
subject would, of course, be yours. There will, in any case, be an eager audience
to hear your thoughts, experiences, predictions. The occasion is not a fund-
raiser, for if we charge at all we would charge only enough to ensure that we
lose nothing. It is an occasion for us simply to show our neighbors our merits,
and to give them the great opportunity to hear you.
The Armand Hammer United World College of the American West is named for its
principal benefactor, who was asked by England's Prince Charles, Chairman of
the International Council of the United World Colleges to undertake the heavy
responsibility of funding the then new college in America. It is one of seven
United World Colleges spread around the globe. In addition to New Mexico,
there are World Colleges in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada; in
Duino, Italy; in Swaziland, South Africa; in Singapore; in Wales, U.K., the
mother college of the rest; and in Barinas, Venezuela. An eighth is to open
later this year in Hong Kong, and a ninth is in planning for Norway. Each of
the colleges has some 200 students (100 in each grade, men and women), except
for Atlantic College in Wales which has 300. All of the colleges offer the
International Baccalaureate Degree Program for 12th and 13th grade students,
by wide consent the most demanding pre-university education anywhere. Although
each of the colleges is independent, responsible for conduct of all its own
affairs, including finances, and has its own Board of Trustees, all colleges
participate together in, and are committed to: the curriculum; a requirement
of regular community service throughout each student's two-year stay; and
required wilderness training, exploration, and rescue.
The colleges have all agreed that not more than one-quarter of any college's
students may come from the nation in which that college sits. The International

Board of the United World Colleges helps the colleges to coordinate their
activities, and makes sure that each college lives up to its shared joint
commitments with the others. An international office in London coordinates
recruitment in seventy-five nations, and placement of students. The students
themselves are top quality. In addition to their considerable academic
accomplishments, they are selected for what appear to be innate qualities of
leadership. This selection, of course, partakes more of art and experience
than science. It seems to be working, and has the effect also of ensuring
an interesting and highly motivated student body.
There is a steady schedule of lectures, discussions, meetings on international
affairs, and a good bit of attention paid to the study of conflict among
nations, broadly, and its resolutions both actual and potential. We have reason
to believe that our emphasis on service, courage, self-reliance, and international
cooperation is producing youth who will, in fact, lead lives of international
service and leadership.
A final feature of the World Colleges is that they are substantially free to
students. Eighty-five percent of the students in Montezuma, New Mexico, require
financial aid, most of it at the high end of the scale. I should note that
all the World Colleges follow the British and European practice of schooling
children for thirteen years, and in bachelor's degree programs in universities
for three, while the United States has its own system of twelve years in schools,
and four in universities. Thus, while the two years offered by the United World
Colleges outside of the United States are the last two years of secondary school
in those nations, in the United States they are the last year of secondary
school paired with the first university year. That causes no real problem,
but is, rather, in our opinion, an advantage: a thirteenth year still in the
close community of a small secondary school instead of the general disjointedness
and confusion of our American freshman year.
In as small a nutshell as I can make, that's the story of a great, albeit young,
school, with seven campuses, aimed at persuading the inner man to understand,
serve and lead the outer world to larger life.
Please forgive the length of this letter. Ted Lockwood and I very much hope
you will wish to join us, and speak to us on our tenth birthday -- Saturday,
October 24, 1992. It would be a great honor for us. Some of those who come
from Texas will surely be your friends. Louisa Sarofim, from Houston, is on
our Board, and Mike McLanahan knows us well, and is a valued advisor. I hope
Lupe Murchison, and Marion Chambers, and Leland and Evaline Thompson will come.
They will all be considerably more likely to do so, of course, if you are the
principal speaker.

Some History
The United World Colleges were the last creation of the gifted Austrian educator,
Kurt Hahn, whose first was the Salem School which he founded in Baden, Bavaria
in the early 1920's. While it was and remains a widely admired school, Hahn
had spoken so strongly against the Nazis that he was forced to flee Germany
when they came to power in the early '30s. He went directly to Scotland where
friends bought him a large and beautiful property near Inverness. There he
founded the Gordonstoun School, of which he remained the headmaster until
almost the end of his life. It was to be the perfect location for the further
development of his ideas about the methods of helping children over the barrier
between adolescence and maturity. Realizing that that transformation usually
comes at ages 17-20 years, Hahn concluded that organized competitive team sports
were not the only route to the character development on which maturity depends.
In fact he found evidence in his new location to suggest that the experience
of nature directly, in danger and in the cooperative response it seems to demand,
offers a more profound, more memorable experience. Along with the old emphases
on team sport, he offered wilderness adventure, exploration, training for
action, and rescue on the sea or in the mountains.
By the time World War II came, several classes of Gordonstoun boys had had useful
work in sea rescue. As the number of British deaths by drowning rose during
the early struggle with German U boats, Hahn was asked to develop a drowning
survival course for Britain's naval and merchant seamen. The course was an
instant success, partly because it taught youthful seamen, who didn't already
know , , how to swim. Deaths by drowning dropped dramatically, and led Hahn
eventually to a new idea: a several week course in wilderness and sea survival
which he planned to make available to all the nation's youth after the war.
This program, dubbed Outward Bound, began soon after the conclusion of World
War II, and was a notable success both in Britain and the United States.
As the '50s wore on, Hahn decided on a last educational effort: Atlantic
College is located in St. Donat's ancient castle near Cardiff in Wales, which
was purchased for Atlantic College by the same Antonin Besse who had purchased
the Gordonstoun property for Hahn more than twenty years earlier. Hahn sought
the brightest and most promising boys, whose families lacked the resources
private schools require, and enrolled the best of them for the last two of the
secondary school years, in Atlantic College. An extraordinarily demanding curriculum
to make up for time lost elsewhere lies at the center of the United World
College experience. With it are two unusual requirements: (1) for required
work throughout the two years in Community Service; and (2) for required
wilderness training and sea or mountain rescue. It offers adventure, risk,
daring -- the thrill of shared danger and struggle. And, most important of
all, it led the boys to self-knowledge, self-discipline, courage, confidence,
and cooperative action under stress. All three together, in those two critical
years made the boys ready and eager to take on the heavy responsibilities of
mature life and leadership.
Within a half dozen years of the founding of Atlantic College (1962), Lord
Louis Mountbatten, one of three Allied Supreme Commanders in World War II,
the last Viceroy of India, and the man who steered it to negotiated independence,
had heard of Atlantic College, and visited it. He proposed to its officers
and trustees that the college was too good to remain an institution of the
Welsh coast only; that what it offered was what much of the rest of the world
wanted and needed. From then until his assassination, Earl Mountbatten of
Burma, as he came to be, was the guiding spirit behind the metamorphasis
which bound Atlantic College in Wales into a confederation with six other
like-minded colleges known together as the United World Colleges. Their number
still grows.
The colleges are all independent with their own corporations and boards, voluntary
participants in a carefully constructed plan of education in the last two years
of secondary school. There is an International Board for the movement which
helps in recruitment, future planning, and cooperative action among the colleges.
There is an International Council which seeks out possibilities for new colleges,
and seeks in general to promote the whole movement. Britain's Prince Charles
succeeded his great uncle Lord Mountbatten as president of this Council, a position
he holds today and there are now, in total, some 10,000 alumni.
It is, in our competitive, troubled world, a great story of principles studied,
evolved, fought for, and held to, at its roots the visionary Austrian (1) teacher,
Hahn, and the charismatic English "warrior prince", Mountbatten.

Dear Mr. Baker: Re: Clinton's problem with the truth
As you know, there is an unfolding story about Clinton's
big involvement in anti-war protests in 1969/70 and perhaps
beyond.
Clinton keep denying stories and is later forced to make
some admissions. In short, he is being revealed as a
real liar. I feel that your campaign should dwell on
his ability to lie to cover up. This is some attribute for
a president!
I feel that the public will not be too sympathetic about his
being an anti-war protester. But the public should be
most unsympathetic about having as liar as their president.
As a strategy, questions re his anti-war activities should
be directed to Clinton. He will try to lie his way out of
the situation and then he can be trapped by the facts.
His Moscow visit of 40 days should be the basis of a lot of
questions. He got a visa to go when Ross Perot was denied
a visa to get a plane load of supplies to our prisoners of
war in Hanoi. That should tell us something.

Dear Mr. Baker,
It appears that Bush's chances of being re-elected would be better if Baker
is nominated to be Vice President. This action would stimulate the whole
country, since Baker is known as a very capable individual, in that he
usually accomplishes what he sets out to do. In fact, he would be a better
President than Bush.
The President should then announce that, if they were elected, Baker would
continue to be Chief of Staff as well as being the Vice-President. All
Vice-Presidents should have to qualify to be the President's Chief of Staff.
This would eliminate the need of preparing him to be acting President, if
the sitting President became incapable of functioning.
This arrangement would permit Bush to be the Chairman of the board and
take care of the international problems and contacts (his great love), and
allow Baker to be CEO, to accomplish the mundane economical problems,
which is his forte.
Bush is always proposing plans that he feels will work in the future.
Meanwhile he is ignoring his great powers as President. As soon as
possible, he should request Baker to work with Congress, as he promised he
would do at the start of his first term, to formulate a compromised 1992
Budget, rather than continuing conjecturing about improving the future.
Unless Baker utilizes the remaining time, efficiently, before election day,
the President will not be re-elected. Thise suggestions are more important
now that Perot is reviving his campaign. Clinton put it nicely, when he
remarked that the President is trying to persuade the citizens that he can
save the economy in the 11th hour of the 12th year.

Dear Mr. Baker,
Perot's hiring of petition signers, at $10.00 an hour, to complete his
registration on the remaining country's ballots, indicates his strong desire
to become the U.S. President. This is also confirmed by his book "United We
Stand". Unless he presents an appreciable effort on his part, his backers
will lose interest in him. His purpose in quitting, provided the necessary
time to assemble his ideas in his book regarding the necessary steps
required to improve the economy, and to concentrate his publicity program
in a shortened whirlwind like campaign.
He appreciates that the citizens may not provide sufficient votes for him to
win, since they will feel that his program to improve the economy initially
will be catastrophic for an appreciable time, before improvement results.
Despite this, Perot may still obtain sufficient votes to prevent the election
of either Bush or Clinton. If the 1993 House is Democratic, then the latter
will be elected.
This may be what Perot desires to orchestrate.
If this occurs, there would be a strong possibility that Perot could become
the Vice-President. If he is sincere in improving the U.S. economy he may
accept this high office, even though it does not fit his personality. This
position, however, would temper his impatience, since he could not
contribute to the economy improvement, without the President's permission.
However, if he is humble enough to accept this office without this
permission, he could learn how the government functions, by the use of its
checks and balances, and how the President must persuade and cajole
Congress, or compromise with them. This four year American Government
course would permit him to intelligently comment and discuss the actions of
the President and Congress, and prepare him for running for President,
next time around.

Dear Mr Baker:
By the way, good news: As I was delivering 100 pro-life new voter
registrations to the election board, they said they were
overwhelmed - never had so many new voter registrations.
Something is happening, I'm not sure what, but a neighboring
church has a new citizenship committee that registered 300 new
pro-family pro-life voters.
Regarding the tax issue, a new opportunity:
Even some liberal media reporters noted that the bill which passed
yesterday, entangling inner-city and business relief with a series
of small tax increases, was designed by the Democratic leadership
to force the President to break his new no tax pledge.
It is HARD BALL TIME: The President should not only veto the bill
with a vigorous explanation to the voters that this is the way the
Democratic leadership in Congress plays politics with every issue:
They tie up "my good legislation" with their pet projects, such as
raising taxes. "That's what they did in 1990."
He would then retell how the Democratic leadership promised reduce
the deficit by holding down spending, which the President wanted,
if the President went along with their 1990 tax increase. The
President kept his part of the bargain, but they broke their
promise, spending increased, the deficit grew, and the tax
increase has made the recession worse and the deficit worse. of
curse the President will not repeat the mistake.
Expect the media to ignore the President's statement, until
...
The President calls Congress back into special session to
strip ... the taxes from the bill he wants. The Democrats think they
have put the President in a no-win situation. Turn the tables.
The furor will get attention, and everyone will see exactly who to
blame for tax increases. They can't hide, they can't run, and
they can't win, especially if they try to override the veto.

It could be that the origional text concepts on the Rebuilding of
Industry and the Economy in this nation and on a World Basis that I
sent to the former Chief Of Staff back in January. Could well be the
exact text and format that the the President needs to regain the lead
in the polls with the voting public.
There has to be an answer as to why the public has not responded to
what political experts have detailed out for the President to present
to the publio. They could be 180 degrees off target. I say that Im
right on target and with your help to take off the rough edges. Ill bet
you that we could pick up a 25% jump in popularity. I feel that the
majority of the public 16 just waiting for him to say the correct words
and present the corrective programs. It would be & wise decision to do
this before Clinton or Perot jumps on this theme.

Subject: abortion; Woman's Choice.
These are some comments that I have not heard or read others make regarding
the subject of abortion.
Most of the pressure to deny the right to an abortion comes from religious
groups. So let's look at the religious aspects.
According to Christian scripture, "As a person thinks, so is s/he". So, to
follow that philosophy, if a woman has an unwanted pregnancy and wishes
that that pregnancy would automatically terminate, she has had an abortion
already in the eyes of the Lord.
Therefore, a religious philosophy of denying a woman the right to terminate
an unwanted pregnancy is merely emotional dogma. The Lord gave us brains
as well as emotional feelings. He expects us to use each properly.
Furthermore, a terminated fertilized egg can be replaced in another month
if the woman wishes. What's the big fuss? This is a democracy.
Now to some practical aspects. If my mother had unintentionally become
pregnant at age 14 with me as the potential child, and there was a law
which denied her a chance to terminate that pregnancy, I would have been
very angry.
Why couldn't I wait until my mother was mentally, physically, emotionally,
financially and socially capable of giving a child the proper care? Our
society has far too many financial and social problems already without
asking for more.
A promiscuous life-style is another matter and should be dealt with
separately.
If it was found that two aspirin together with a cup of coffee the next
morning would terminate a possible unwanted pregnancy, it is certain that
no religious dogma or governmental law against such use would have any effect.
A pill has been developed, and in use, in other countries, that can terminate
early pregnancies. But groups within the United States have been able to
prevent that pill from being used here. Where is our common sense? Lord
help us!

Many women fail to terminate unwanted pregnancies immediately because of
the religious or political atmosphere that prevails. Then when they
become really frustrated during the second or third trimester, they have an
abortion anyway. It is these late-term abortions that the anti-abortionists
love to publicize. In reality these people are the ones responsible for
a big share of the late-term abortions. It would be far better to create
pregnancies. an atmosphere that was not hostile toward the early termination of unwanted
The philosophy of denying a woman the right to terminate an early-term or
a mentally/physically deformed pregnancy is based on misguided dogma - not
Christian principles. It is evil and inhumane. It would show no compassion
for the welfare of unwanted children, of mothers or of our society.
Although an egg has no rights other than that which a woman wishes to give
it, it would be well to limit the time she has to terminate an unwanted
pregnancy.
May true wisdom (not politics or emotion) be the basis for any determinations
on this subject of abortion.

Your staff probably saw this recent Op-Ed page article in The New York
Times. As a graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover ten years after President
Bush, I had hoped that he would bring some of the 'Non-Sibi' principles he
learned there to bear on government policy. However, I have not seen much
evidence of such an approach. Indeed, he seems to revel in confronting
Congress with vetoes of legislation - some of which I agree are spendthrift
pork barrel proposals. But so are his bonus proposals for farmers and defense
contracts, which have irked our allies. However, we can't afford to support
inefficient farming policies any more than European governments can, and arms
sales should be curtailed so that the ability to wage war is curtailed.
Why wait for Congress to cut their staff before the White House staff is
reduced? Call their bluff. We really don't need any more government office
buildings and bureaucracy - - let's make do with less, as American and global
industry is. After all, you are accountable to the American people.
Viewing reports of the Republican convention from abroad, I was dismayed
to read that statements of "Christian values" had led to raised clenched fists!
Christ entreated his believers to turn the other cheek and to walk the second
mile. What about open arms, hugs and kind words rather than fists.
Let's not forget some principles of predecessor Republican Presidents
enshrined in South Dakota. Theodore Roosevelt said that a principle behind
his antitrust and conservationist measures was: "It is better for Government
to help a poor man make a living for his family than to help a rich man make
more profit for his company". And Abraham Lincoln's second inaugural address
included the words "with malice toward none, with charity for all..." I think
these principles, so successful in electing Republican Presidents in the past are
still pertinent in today's more complicated world.

Dear Mr. Baker,
I am a small businessman, a registered Republican and vitally interested
in the current election. I am also very discouraged by the way it seems to
be going.
I feel a strong need to express my opinion.
In the late 1970's the number one concern on everyone's mind was
communism and nuclear war. Even President Carter said it was his daughter
Amy's number one concern.
I do not understand why President Bush is not actively and loudly
campaigning on the marvelous things that have happened during the Reagan-
Bush years. After all, that was the mission given to them by the people
of the USA.
The accomplishments are outstanding:
1. Defeat of USSR and Warsau pact.
2. Re-unification of Germany.
3. Tearing down of the Berlin Wall.
4. Down-sizing forces in Europe.
5. Stability in Panama.
6. Removal of Daniel Ortega.
7. Near peace in the Middle East.
8. Restoration of the U.S. as a true military superpower.
I feel the mission given was mission accomplished.
I wish President Bush would run on those accomplishments rather than
reacting to the challenger.
It is unfortunate that we are still in the grips of a stubborn media-
induced recession, but we could put the same effort into the economy that we
did in defeating communism.
As far as Mr. Clinton goes, Sam Walton (Wal-Mart) probably had more to
do with economic prosperity in Arkansas than Clinton did.

It should not be forgotten that the misery index does not exist
anymore and interest rates are at an all time low. This does more to help
home buyers than any government program.
I feel Mr. Bush should stay away from the capital gains tax cut unless
it could be explained in terms of the family farm or home ownership. Most
people do not understand it.
I feel Mr. Bush should instead offer a 10% investment tax credit for any
capitol equipment made or assembled in the U.S.
I think he should restore IRA's as a way to induce saving.
I think you should use the existing Medicare frame work to offer a
reasonable health plan that any individual or business could buy into. No
pre existing conditions etc. Basically an affordable safety net for anyone
who cannot find other suitable coverage elsewhere.
Please stay away from Clinton's draft record, trips to Moscow and
Hillary. Take the high road. Let others do the dirty work if needed.
Our company imports extensively from China. I have traveled in China.
I am convinced that loss of most favored nation status would be devastating
to my company, my 35 employees and my many friends in China.

THINGS THAT TROUBLE US ABOUT THIS ELECTION CAMPAIGN.
1. What is the current status on the security clearance issue? Is it true that Clinton
under the present circumstances, does not qualify for top security clearance? Does
this not rule him out as the Chief Executive Officer of this country?
2. Were students in general travelling to Russia for tourism? I thought it was very
difficult to get a visa to the Soviet Union during the VietNam War unless you were a
simpathizer. This is an important issue for veterans. Have you asked Boris Yeltsin
for the KGB file on Clinton? It 18 inevitable that he was approached by the KGB
while he was in Moscow.
3. Figure out a comeback for Clinton's dodging questions he doesn't want to answer
with the statement, "I feel 80 sorry for the President, that he is so desperate
that he makes statements like that." Something like, "See, he won't deal with
the issues. Then go on to explain that Clinton uses that statement everytime
he is confronted with an issue about his character. This one ploy by the Democrats
has been very effective and damaging to Bush. Clinton built a whole case against
Bush before the campaign ever got started that Bush wouldn't deal with the issues,
would run a very dirty, desparate race. Bush has to find a way to turn this ploy
Clinton uses all the time around to his advantage. Reagan did it with his, "There
you go again," statement.
4. Get more press out of the Donahue/Clinton/Gore program. As soon as Donahue pressed
Clinton for answers, Clinton turned it back against Donahue, without ever answering
the question. The press has let him do this during the whole campaign.
5. Emphasize that Bush has stayed consistent on the issues.
6. What about the children's poll on CNN last night. It has picked the president
in every poll since 1t began, It came in Bush in a landslide! The children know
what's best for their future.
7. Clinton can't have it both ways on his Rhodes scholarship. A person who prides
himself in facts and figures at the drop of a hat, can't claim lack of memory
during his trip to the Soviet Union. A trip to the Soviet Union for a Rhodes
Scholar, at that time in history, could not become a hazy memory.

It is beyond belief that our aviator-President would willingly
permit, on his own watch, the degradation of the Naval Aviation
corps in which he himself had served with distinction, locking
away even as a 20-year-old his first cardinal certificate of
eligibility to become a future Commander-in-Chief.
Yet the process of that degradation -- demolition may yet become
the more accurate term - -- is already well advanced. The Tailhook
furor has become a sustained, unjust and despicable defamation
of a Naval Air component drawn from America's finest youth,
superbly trained and disciplined to fulfill its historic role as
cutting edge of American foreign policy.
Undeniably conceived and launched by mortal enemies of the
Administration as a personal and political embarrassment to the
President, it has been sustained as successfully alienating one
of the President's core electoral constituencies.
FOR MORE THAN A YEAR NOW I have proposed to all hands the Jake
Reisert legend as a perfect antidote and palliative for fallout
from the Tailhook scandal. Now I offer the following scenario:
Suppose Dick Cheney, after scanning for the first time the
massive Reisert file, recommends award of the Medal of Honor.
Suppose campaign officials immediately schedule a Presidential
presentation ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 1, on the flight deck of a
front-line aircraft carrier AT SAN DIEGO, with fullest possible
press coverage bringing multiple benefits beyond enumeration.
Given confirmation of such a schedule preferably by Sept. 17,
we can arrange to have on that deck Reisert family members,
four survivors of the six squadron-mates who owe their lives to
Jake Reisert, plus assorted Belleau Wood and Cabot Shipmates.
A SMASHING CAMPAIGN CLIMAX, YES?

Rear Admiral C. A. Hill, Jr., USN Retired, whom I met for the
first time late last July, suggests that the Commission may find
my memorandum entitled "Tailhook: A National Calamity"
(addressed as an open letter to families and friends of U. S.
Naval aviators) germane to its present deliberations. At his
request I submit these musings direct to you and will be honored
if you find them useful.
Expanding upon my credentials capsulized on the initial page of
this Tailhook memorandum, I enclose a resume on file since the
1970s at the Heritage Foundation and at the American Security
Council. I am also a charter member of the Republican National
Committee's new Campaign Council. Tracing a common thread
through my five strenuous decades in four divergent professional
pursuits, I am content to be regarded as a chronicler and
curator of American legends that MUST not be discarded -- first,
in my 200-odd magazine articles and two hardcover books during
my tour of duty as "Prophet of the New West" at the OLD Denver
Post: more recently as biographer of Cal Farley and, presently,
of LT Jake Reisert, USNR, Medal of Honor nominee at Okinawa.
(Chapter outlines attached.) My sea duty in WWII spanned five
months of intensive air combat claiming fatalities of nearly 35%
of the original complement of our Air Group, a tour terminated
by the Okinawa typhoon during which our ship, twice almost sunk,
sustained damage requiring stateside repair.
For brevity in introducing my comments regarding topics under
present scrutiny, let me say that after studying carefully for
the first time yesterday Admiral Hill's letter to the Commission
dated 18 Sept 92, I endorse without qualification every point
in "Mark" Hill's argument --- most emphatically his insistence on
COMBAT READINESS as the rock-hard criterion which distinguishes
an authentic Navy from the taxpayer-supported yacht clubs which
pass for navies in certain other Western nations. That said, I
can limit these supplementary remarks to expanding a bit on the
political components of this debate, then record my own sorrow
over presently threatened erosion of the country-before-self
motivation that has flavored and exalted America's citizen-
military since earliest days of the Republic.
In the Tailhook uproar, my analysis contends, ardent feminists
oopportunistically linked their newly-acquired political muscle
with that of anti-military liberals in Congress and the media,
overriding sound custom and scorning orderly advancement. to
preempt new status in the military services. Mannerly the
feminists ain't; bloodthirsty's a better word: when two more
admirals were cashiered a few days ago for laggard pursuit of a
patently impossible Tailhook investigation, Big Mama Schroeder
exulted to a newsman, "Two admirals in one day. It's a big day."
Quite predictably, that alliance will prove short-sighted for
women who were willing to earn their way through merit alongside
their male colleagues in a military career. High on the agenda
of their new allies for decades past has been reduction of our
national defense budgets in favor of new social programs and
concurrent deemphasis of the soldierly tradition at all points.
(Rep. Schroeder, for example, voted against use of force against
Iraq, against continued production of the B-2 Stealth bomber and
numerous other weapons, and since 1988 has scored a perfect 100%
on the leftist Americans for Democratic Action's voting index.)
In their contrived and cynical Tailhook scam, in their insis-
tence upon special privileges totally forbidden to males in
uniform and disruptive of the most basic command structure, even
in their visibly economic motivation for entering the service,
feminists have thus far disqualified themselves as guardians of
military traditions intertwined around the very core of the
American psyche. From press reports of the survey delivered to
the Commission September 10, I can only deduce that most female
Army personnel want the privilege of volunteering for combat
service as a path to promotion though few would so volunteer,
demand reduced physical qualification standards but in majority
would likely quit the service if compelled to serve in infantry,
artillery and other untidy combat units wherein men may be
required to serve.
What of our armed forces' loftiest traditions of self-
sacrificing heroism which have inspired and ennobled American
youth through our history? A particularly vivid harbinger of the
grim fate awaiting such traditions in a unisex military occurred
only a few weeks ago in the remarkable case of LT Jake Reisert,
USNR, a Navy torpedo plane pilot who at the cost of his own life
parachuted his two crewmen safely to a rescue submarine off
Okinawa in one of the most dramatic rescues of the Pacific war.
Shipmates learned full details only ten weeks later: LT Reisert
had flown his crippled plane for two hours, successfully
concealing the fact that his own left hip had been shot away and
his right calf pierced by shrapnel, injuries that had proved
fatal before the submariners could pull him out of the sea.
His nomination for Medal of Honor was promptly and emphatically
endorsed at all levels through Fleet Admiral Nimitz as CinCPac.
Arbitrarily and without explanation, Pentagon reviewers not yet
in possession of all the facts reduced his award to Navy Cross.
Even after submission of massive new evidence, meticulously
researched, that decision was reaffirmed in 1951. Over the years
Reisert shipmates continued to decry a precedent that permits
faceless Pentagon paper-pushers and a passerby SecNav to
countermand, for bureaucratic convenience, the judgment of a
Fleet Admiral as to the proper award for a heroic exploit.
In 1988, with broad congressional backing, Jake Reisert's former
shipmates in the Belleau Wood (CVL-24) Association of Shipmates,
joined later by the Cabot (CVL-28) Shipmates, sponsored a "full-
court press" to obtain the Reisert Medal of Honor for the sake
of the widow, the daughter Jake never saw, and his three
grandchildren. Elaborate sworn statements containing substantial
new evidence were presented and congrssional sponsors obtained.
Four survivors of the SIX squadron-mates finally determined to
owe their lives to the courage and superb flying skill of Jake
Reisert each volunteered to come to Washington at their own
expense and testify in favor of the renomination. In numerous
costly trips to Washington, all bases were touched.
The present Assistant SecNav for Manpower and Reserve Affairs
was unimpressed, being visibly preoccupied with expressing her
"outrage" over Tailhooker atrocities. She chose Republican
Convention week, when almost every advocate was safely out of
town, to dismiss the Reisert renomination curtly, arbitrarily,
sans explanation of any kind, parroting almost exactly the words
of the SecNav's rejection in 1951.
An appeal to President Bush as Commander-in-Chief is being
prepared.

Right now, I'd guess, you're apprehensive lest the U. S.
military services which won the Cold War and the Gulf War may
possibly acquire a commander-in-chief who dodged the draft.
You have other, more immediate reason for worry -- real alarm
-- not only for the survival of your aspiring heroes but also
for Naval Air itself as a well-honed cutting edge of American
foreign policy and prestige.
IN THE TEN MIDSUMMER WEEKS OF 1992 MORE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE TO
THE OVERALL EFFECTIVENESS OF NAVAL AIR THAN WAS INFLICTED BY
ENEMIES IN ALL U. S. WARS SINCE PEARL HARBOR. AND STILL MORE
DAMAGE AWAITS UNLESS FRIENDS OF NAVAL AIR SPEAK LOUD AND CLEAR.
Scare talk? Hard to believe? How could such knifework occur?
Hold still while I approximate the wild scenario cooked up by
Capitol Hill staffers and bureaucrats in cahoots with collusive,
reportorially unprofessional media types -- all liberals, all
surreptitious power-seekers congenitally unfriendly to the
military -- hooked up this time with radical feminists adamantly
determined to fly jets from carrier flight decks in combat, thus
finally confirming the fleet not as a military entity, but
rather "a vast experiment in feminist social theory." Eagerly
practicing "gender terrorism," this motley crew of connivers now
smell a victory that would make the Navy unisex all the way.
Who am I and what's the basis for my "scare talk"?
I was a reserve j. g. aboard Belleau Wood (a CVL that earned 12
battle stars in the Western Pacific in WWII). My own credentials
for a later welcomed membership in the Tailhook Association were
earned at Iwo and Okinawa in middle cockpit of Torpedo Squadron
30's TBMs. As Sunday Editor of The Denver Post I covered the
Bikini A-bomb tests as one of only 110 official correspondents;
was involuntarily recalled to Korean ONI duty at the Pentagon in
1950-51. Moving to corporations, I designed and installed new
employee communications programs systemwide for Eastern Air
Lines, later American Airlines. Weary of airplanes, I became for
20 years a college professor and circuit lecturer on ills of our
mass media. Seeking to preserve finest Naval tradition in the
biography of a pilot hero, I've haunted the Pentagon since 1988
with backing of my Belleau Wood shipmates, seeking staunch
defenders of that tradition. What happened? See below.
The Scenario
'Way back, in gallantry toward womanhood, the Navy surpassed
other services in receptivity to females in uniform. As the
political clout of women increased, senior officers have felt
compelled to march annually to the throne-rooms of feminist
honchos in Congress, notably Colorado's Rep. Pat Schroeder of
the House Armed Services Committee, recounting steady gains in
the relative number and rank of Navy women and dutifully
promising more gains each year (but not promising resultant
improvement in combat capability). Of over 8,000 women now
serving on shipboard, 16 percent become pregnant each year, and
the concentration of others on their jobs is diminished as
another 25% (what's your guess?) contemplate sexual harass-
ment filings or complaints to the tabloids about cruelties
suffered. Now gallant USN reaps the rewards encountered by
appeasers since the Bronze Age -- bigger, more strident demands.
(Can a Navy like this go to war?)
Getting closer and closer to combat assignments, women recently
were assigned to man several fast frigates in the Navy's reserve
force, not normally deployable but in war fully equipped for
combat anywhere in the world. The year 1992 had been broadly
proclaimed as the "Year of the Woman." Thus it should not have
been surprising that a spectacle as startling as the Tailhook
caper might be in the offing.
In 1991 liberals had concocted an Anita Hill commotion in a
desperate effort to block the confirmation of the conservative
black Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. As detailed later in
Ameican Spectator magazine, a cadre of congressional staffers,
lawyers, and assorted ax-persons coaxed, pressured, coached and
rehearsed Ms. Hill for several months before media disclosure of
her claims of sexual harassment by Judge Thomas many years
before. The gambit collapsed of its own flimsiness and because
the Bush Administration, with rare media savvy, had preempted
the high ground from the liberals from Day One of the Thomas
nomination. But the Anita Hill ploy served as an instructive dry
run for orchestrators of the next big sexual harassment hubbub,
which would succeed beyond their wildest dreams.
Casting and rehearsals for the blockbuster Tailhook production
began shortly after the September, 1991, convention finale at
Las Vegas when pilots, showing their white-hot resentment of the
feminist putsch and cold fear for their necks if ordered into
coed aerobatics, became became more boisterous than usual.
To any journeyman media watcher the Tailhook flap, in its
origins, its content and especially its timing, simply reeked of
contrivance and collusion by power-seekers ruthlessly advancing
parochial agendas at the expense of Naval Air, the Navy at
large, our aviator-President, and our entire defense effort.

The 15th annual -- this time to become infamous -- party at the
Las Vegas Hilton occurred last September after close of the 1991
Tailhook convention where Navy flyers who have daily outwitted a
passenger named Death, always present in the cockpit and ready
upon the slightest lapse of skill or concentration to inflict
sudden and painful demise, fervently relish for three days in a
vacation setting an opportunity to ask questions directly of
Navy brass, registering their concerns informally and
unfearfully before Tailhook's "flag panel."
After this hugely beneficial dialogue with their commanding
officers, Tailhookers close their annual convention with (what
else?) A rambunctious party, as commonly convened by those who
ride with mortal danger in their daily work. Though I've never
attended a Tailhook convention, I'm told Tailhookers have upheld
with diligence in this annual gathering aviation's truly
challenging traditions in the per-capita consumption of alcohol.
The 1991 Tailhook party followed the standard pattern. After the
convention closed there gathered on the third floor among the
hospitality rooms privately leased by vendors and others a large
and bibulous assembly drawn from the 5,000 Tailhookers so
registered, but also including as usual a large number of
"guests" from (in the words of an official report) "the local
community, elsewhere in the hotel itself, a nearby Air Force
base, and a local university."
Every attendee at this romp, male or female, was there purely at
his or her own option. Most participants knew well what kind of
festivities to expect and any innocents were logically presumed
to be eagerly awaiting initiation.
During the proceedings, as one sane newsman reported, "a small
number of young men, presumably aviators, got boozed up and
yelled and groped at some abmen in the hotel hallway. No one has
even alleged that any of the women was harmed, raped, beaten or
coerced into having sex. Irritated and annoyed, yes, and rightly
so, but these were at worst high-jinks committed in a spirit of
drunken, bad-taste fun in a public place, threatening no one."
So this was a scandal appalling enough to demand reorganization
of the whole fleet command? Unseemly and noisy enough,
regrettably, to cause a small stir in the papers a year ago,
but after that presumably the Navy would have proceeded, as in
generations past, to enforce its rules and its will to assess
penalties upon the junior officers (two to four in number,
insiders say) for "conduct unbecoming an officer."
Not this time.
Back on Capitol Hill Pat Schroeder continued her mockery of "the
Old Boys' network" which, after all, had created and fine-tuned
the Naval Air organism which had won the Pacific sea war, incul-
cated the heroic moral stamina enabling Stockdales and Lawrences

to survive brutal Viet Cong death camps, produced the first
twelve selectees for astronaut training, and put at the service
of Desert Storm commanders an array of combat pilots unsurpassed
in skill and discipline by any others on earth.
No matter. To Pat's feminist cohorts the Old Boys were and are
blocking an inexorable advance, and their removal each by each,
regardless of record, talent or distinction, adds a new trophy
on the shelves of the New Unisex Navy. In the Tailhook incident
they sensed possibility of a big breakthrough and they kept the
story alive, planning carefully and long.
I'll await from the chronicler of the Anita Hill saga an account
of the months of delicious conspiratorial chatter, strategy
conferences and dress rehearsals occurring in congressional and
Pentagon staff offices, cocktail bars, press clubs and lawyers'
pads as the Tailhook production took shape. Early participants
without shadow of a doubt were those unconscionably collusive
"reporters" and editors of liberal Democratic media, notably the
Washington Post, who coached the leading lady and delayed
opening night for nine long months until the Presidential circus
was on stage and the story could cause maximum disarray in the
Republican campaign.
Democrats, having learned far better than Republicans that
politics is an earthy business, leap with glee at any
opportunity to discombobulate that posture of suffocating
rectitude the GOP tends to demand of its candidates and
operatives. Any media-wise prober, I contend, concluded quickly
that the Tailhook rumpus was targeted far less on the welfare of
women in uniform than upon the advancement of feminism and
embarrassment of President Bush, a caper in which the GOP was
invited to self-destruct and proceeded to do SO. (The event's
nine-month gestation period, one must note, allowed plenty of
time for an envoy to confer with that 61-year-old high priest of
erectitude, Ted Kennedy, interrupting Ted's nightshirt pursuits
of naked or soon-to-be-naked women around his Palm Beach estate
long enough to gain his expert counsel!)
The Firestorm
Finally, on June 24, 1992, the curtain went up. On that day the
Washington Post, citadel of liberalism and parent of Watergate,
Iran-Contra, plus countless other tortures inflicted with
delight upon Republicanism, published the ordeal of LT Paula
Coughlin at Las Vegas. As sole complainant about Tailhooker
manhandling in the Hilton's third-floor hallway, she spoke as a
navy pilot's daughter, an admiral's aide, and nine-year member
of the Tailhook Association who -- it was revealed later -- had
not followed standard Navy procedure for dealing promptly with
improper male advances, choosing instead to go public with her
anguish nine months later.
The media firestorm that followed was astonishing.

The media went bananas, red-flagging Tailhookers as the
heartless boorish monsters of the age, abandoning any pretense
of obligation to report the incident as totally unauthorized
behavior of a handful of members of an organization uniquely
important to the morale of America's front-line striking force.
The editorial page of USA TODAY, as one example, edited by one
of its numerous highly vocal feminists, headlined a hysterical
editorial under the headline NAVY'S TAILHOOK GOONS -- a term not
remembered as having been applied by that paper to Rodney King,
triggerman of the Los Angeles riots. In a half-page outburst
against such "gross sexism," the righteous Miami Herald
confusedly condemned what it termed an "incredible amount of
drinking (16,000 glasses of beer)" at "the annual symposium,"
not explaining how that figure constituted excess consumption at
a symposium lasting three days with 5,000 persons registered in
attendance! And so across the land, another witch-hunt was on.
I spent the entire week of July 6 in Washington on various
errands, visiting a dozen or more congressional, military and
media offices and GOP campaign centers, wearing as usual a
tie-tack proclaiming my Tailhook membership. It was an amazing,
dismaying, infuriating week.
So far as my eye could see, Congress, the Navy, and the entire
Establishment were quivering mutely under the post-menopausal
scowl of Pat Schroeder. Even in GOP campaign war rooms assigned
to repel denigration of a President whose bedrock qualification
for that office was forged in intense air combat at sea in WWII,
my Tailhook identification evoked at best a nervous snicker,
more often wide-eyed apprehension among sweet-faced ingenues.
EVEN MORE ASTONISHING than the vigor of the ax-job being done on
Naval Air was its unanimity. Even as the firestorm peaked
nobody, but nobody, was defending the pilots, poking needles
into the orgiastic self-righteousness of Naval Air's attackers,
or demanding reversal of media broadsides generically besmearing
as goons and rapists men who first of all had passed the world's
most exhaustive screening for outstanding physical and mental
fitness, then had completed awesomely arduous training at a cost
of $3 million per man to accept hazardous duty in a military
assignment as complex and demanding as any on earth.
NOBODY, that is, was then publicly standing up for the pilots
except Rear Admiral Mark Hill, a former president of the
Association of Naval Aviation. who confronts even TV cameras
fearlessly, and Bronc Howe, a war-weary media critic who scolds
publishers for cause. Plus John Sununu, who launched Admiral
Hill's unwanted television career on "Crossfire."
Architects of the Tailhook scandal plainly had embarrassed the
Republican campaign resoundingly. They had conned major news
media into historic lapses ofjournalistic doctrine and prudence.
And more.

Probably to their own astonishment, they had tapped the primal
power of the tactic used by shrews since the dawn of man to tame
burly warriors from Fred Flintstone to Frank Kelso -- in the
domicile: "Make'em feel guilty about something anything or:
nothing. Just make 'em feel guilty, and they" re Jello!"
Riding the surf with opposition strangely silent, the feminist
commandos rapidly expanded their beachhead while the pilots,
suddenly reduced from high honor to disgrace, waited in vain for
well-placed spokesmen to speak in their defense. During the
month of July alone
Item: The civilian SecNav, Garrett, a mere male, was in no
position to defend himself, let alone the pilots. He was forced
out for mishandling the Tailhook investigation. His assistant
and successor Dan Howard, full of pious indignation toward such
revelry, sternly stood down the entire Navy, subjecting all
hands to a lengthy video reminder that grabbing women's breasts
without their consent is impolite. Five (or was it eight?) days
later he was no longer SecNav. Looking for a defender among
their senior officers, the hapless pilots found the Old Boy
Network about as strong as a cobweb and as docile as kittens.
Item: VADM Dick Dunleavy, vastly respected by his pilots, was
summarily bumped out as chief of Naval Air and denied even the
courtesy of a retirement ceremony on a carrier flight deck.
Item: VADM Jerry O. Tuttle, known globally as today's top
expert in airborne electronics and in line to be Dunleavy's
successor, was passed over after feminist Thought Police on his
staff slipped topside a joke used as filler in a recent office
newsletter weighing the relative desirability of a woman vs. a
bottle of beer -- the tagline favoring the beer!
Item: VADM Jack Fetterman, famed throughout the Navy for many
achievements as chief of education and training (the latest a
"core value" " program instilling proper ethical behavior in
recruits denied such training before enlistment) was demoted and
dumped for improperly reporting a subordinate's purported
homosexual activity. While he is indignantly appealing his
demotion with widespread rousing support, few outsiders noted
that a woman now occupies his slot, a position certain to
affect profoundly the tone of the future Navy.
Item: Through these and other shifts cumulatively constituting
an unprecedented trauma for the Navy, the role of ADM Frank
Kelso, Big Boss as Chief of Naval Operations, has made headlines
mainly as a repentant petitioner tracking back and forth to the
office House Office Building to present formal abject apologies
to Pat Schroeder. Ascribing unheroic meekness to this veteran
submariner seems questionable. More likely, and more alarming,
is the hypothesis that he has set an unswerving course toward
imminent retirement not only for himself, BUT AS A SIGNAL OF
VISCERAL REVULSION TO THE FEMINIST ONSLAUGHT AND AN

INVITATION TO THE "OLD BOY NETWORK" TO FOLLOW HIS LEAD EN MASSE.
For maintenance of a credible U. S. naval presence in world
affairs, Editor Wesley Pruden of the Washington Times and
assorted millions of thoughtful citizens would see that mass
exit as most unfortunate.
Item: Congress? Wouldn't such outspoken Navy champions as Sam
Nunn and John Warner speak just a soft word or two on behalf of
their hero pilots? Forget it. Frantic at the prospect of losing
the shrill feminist vote in the "Year of the Woman," Congress in
its infantile wisdom capped off a year of squalid disintegration
by leaping flamboyantly to gain Pat Schroeder's favor, freezing
the promotions and upgrade assignments of 4,500 naval officers
until Tailhook miscreants are punished. (That current investi-
gation obviously resembles an effort to identify and screen,
months later, celebrants in a Chicago saloon on the night the
Bulls won the basketball world series!) Since July, naval
pilots have been heading toward action in the Mideast in a mood
less than serene, knowing their careers are being held hostage
awaiting arraignment of two to four unidentified culprits at an
off-duty party attended by perhaps less than five percent of the
hostages. SMALL WONDER RUMOR NOW HAS IT THAT ONE-THIRD OF OUR
ACTIVE-DUTY PILOTS NOW PLAN TO LEAVE THE NAVY -- AND DOUBLE THAT
NUMBER IF AND WHEN WORD COMES DOWN THEY MUST FLY COMBAT MISSIONS
WITH A PAULA COUGHLAN IN THE REAR SEAT OR ON THEIR WING.
Tales comparable to these accumulate daily. A loony scene it is,
and STILL no one speaks for the aviators.
Two twitches of resistance to the feminist blitz should be
reported, the first by SecDef Dick Cheney. When Dan Howard
flamed out, Barbara Spyridon Pope, assistant navy secretary for
manpower (oops, Person-power?) and reserve affairs waited
winsomely, momentarily suspending her cries of "outrage" over
Tailhooker atrocities. After all, hadn't she been nominated for
SecNav by the same liberal journals touting Schroeder as
successor to Cheney? Cheney instead passed her over promptly in
naming his 36-year-old protege Sean O'Keefe as Acting SecNav.
The second tremor had earthquake portent. A Navy big gun had
finally boomed, arcing a 16-inch shell over CNO Frank Kelso to
Dick Cheney, copy to President Bush. He is David C. Richardson,
a retired vice admiral, former CO of the Sixth Fleet and Deputy
CinCPac, creator of new ocean surveillance information systems,
since retirement a leader in naval applications of computer
technologies. A fighter pilot in WWII, he had shot down four
Japanese aircraft before being wounded and shot down on
Guadalcanal in 1942. Executive officer of a carrier off Korea,
he was later CO of the attack carrier strike force off Vietnam.
Father of two naval aviators and father-in-law of a SEAL
lieutenant. His letter is as terse and powerful as a military
message can get.

useful seminar, had a beer or two on the Hilton's third floor
and went home. Next most blameworthy have been the strident
feminist prophets who, charmed by the Navy's chic uniforms and
mannerly ambience, have employed the manners of Attila the Hun
to enhance their already formidable clout in the fleet, wrecking
much of their target turf in the process.
Next higher on this observer's arraignment docket are the
uniformed and civilian brass in the Navy Dept. in Congress and
at Republican headquarters who, in spineless terror of cater-
wauling needlers mouthing the latest doctrinal fad, failed
utterly in showing "loyalty down, in effect casting their
junior officers and front-line troops adrift in disgrace.
Highest by far on my list of offenders are those surreptitious
connivers and (I repeat) their unconscionably collusive media
cohorts who planned and orchestrated this caper, and. whose
continuing clamor forestalled the due process which would have
shown it early as the scam it was. This time our arrogant media,
cavorting as usual in government-by-media amusements, entered
Naval Air like a gorilla in a computer room and are rapidly
destroying one of the most intricate, admirably disciplined, and
vital arms of our defense. If you sense from this account that
the climate in Washington was definitely balmy this past summer,
you have plenty of company.
WHAT CAN BE DONE?

THE CORE QUESTION remains: Are women to be admitted to combat
roles? Ninety-five percent of those who've experienced the
blood, grief and murderous stress of combat believe, with
compelling reasons, that presence of women in combat diminishes
overall effectiveness of the unit and increases casualties.
"Women will have proved their capability of flying fighters in
battle," remarks one veteran, "when you see a woman or two as
regulars charging down the court with the Chicago Bulls. The
demands for uncanny, electrifying teamwork and nanosecond
reflexes are about the same as in an aerial dogfight. Trouble is
that, after they prove they can fly with us, they' 11 be living
with us for weeks and months on an already overcrowded ship,
sharing meals, bunkrooms, even toilets with 3,500 men. And
retaining, of course, a right not one of those men have: that of
filing sexual harassment complaints which literally DISSOLVE the
command structure." Would this be a NAVY? More likely, in the
words of Admiral Hill, we would be"using the defense budget just
to provide jobs, status and ego trips for a single class that
can in no way improve our combat readiness but can indeed
degrade it, setting stage for a major disaster downstream."
In the present goofy media and congressional climate, however,
the testimony of those proved in real combat IS NOT BEING HEARD
AT ALL, or is received at with deep suspicion simply because
they are men. This gender disqualification passes the ball to
the addressees of this letter -- parents, wives, loved ones,
friends of naval aviators -- to score the vital early points to
keep Naval Air in the game until rationality returns.
What can you do? Answer: Do SOMETHING!
(If you mothers and spouses of aviators pull handfuls of hair
from the heads of the bruiser broads who have labeled your men
goons and rapists across the land, gathering a legal defense
fund for you would be a piece of cake.)
More conventionally, telephone your congressman, news editor or
candidate, Insist on talking to him personally, then promise him
your undying enmity unless he helps put Naval Air back where it
belongs in the public eye and in the Washington machinery. Make
NOISE where you live about the frightful mistreatment your men
are undergoing. Then make more noise! You'll do more good than
you may expect. But DO SOMETHING!
Hope my self-assigned labors in piecing together this weird tale
during a hurricane hiatus here in Miami may be helpful.

who have broached this subject with me, and fellow senior retired
officers and their wives, that the Dept. of Defense has embarked
on a witch hunt.

Jim Stockdales and Bill Lawrences of POW fame, and the first twelve
selectees for astronaut training, later reduced by five to permit

retirement I was a leader in application of computer technologies
in command and control of naval forces and in the exploitation of
space-based passive (and would be active) collection of information
for tactical near-real-time exploitation, having served on many DOD
panels treating with these matters. My activity these past 24
years Haver. is well known by your Asst. of Intelligence policy, Mr. Rick

Technical College on one of your campaign visits to St. Louis. We,
of course, are very anxious that you give additional consideration
to a visit to our campus.

Dear President Bush:
Since previous plans for debates involving the two major United States
presidential candidates apparently have collapsed, I am inviting you and your
Democratic opponent to have a single debate on the Marshall University campus
in Huntington, West Virginia on Thursday, October 22, 1992.
The proposed format would involve a single moderator, taking questions
from the audience with both candidates being given a specific amount of time
to respond to each question. There would be provision for opening remarks and
closing remarks by each candidate.
Huntington and Marshall offer several advantages for such a debate. We
are "middle America," located at the convergence of three states, West Virginia,
Ohio and Kentucky, not rural and not part of a megalopolis. The moderator would
be a respected local newsman who would not be concerned with network rating
points, etc.
In terms of facilities, we have available a just-opened, 600-seat theatre
which is considered state of the art. It is configured in such a manner as to
enhance security arrangements.
We believe a debate between the two candidates is in the best interest
of the American people and we believe we can offer an excellent setting for
such a debate with very good prospects for a significant discussion of the issues
which most concern the vast majority of our citizens.
I hope you will give serious consideration to this invitation and that we
may welcome you to Marshall University on Thursday, October 22, or on perhaps
another mutually agreeable date.

I call upon you to stop the Republican Party's hate-
mongering and focus the presidential campaign on the real
problems faced by our citizens.
The anti-gay rhetoric at the Republican convention was
appalling. In an effort to win in November, your party put
Pat Buchanan and Pat Robertson on nationwide TV, knowing full
well that they would denounce gays and lesbians. And the
Party permitted Vice President Quayle to make only slightly
more subtle attacks.
The Republican Party is not some fringe group. It is
the party in power. No party that rules America should ever
promote the dehumanization of any minority group.
About 10 percent of Americans happen to be gay or lesbian.
Gays and lesbians are just as devoted to their loved ones, just
as hard-working and law-abiding, as other Americans. For
the ruling party to stir up hatred against one group of
Americans in an effort to gain favor with other groups is
wrong, it is cynical, and it is dangerous.
I urge you to use all the power at your command to halt
your party's barrage of fear and hate. Please let me know what
you intend to do.

As mentioned in President Bush and George Bush, Jr.'s letter and including Mr. Teeter's, I
have been a strong supporter for the campaign of Ronald Reagan and George Bush since
1980, for the special reason which I will discuss later.
I have contacted the campaign office, Mr. Teeter, George Bush, Jr., the California
Republican Headquarters and the Bush/Quayle Headquarters but did not work out because of
the critical time matter.
The suggested information included in the President's mail must be considerably reviewed
before the debate is started. Also, the materials I provided in the package must be delivered
to the people as soon as possible through quick campaign channels before the people stand at
the election ballot box.

Dear Honorable President George Bush:
First of all, as Americans, we sincerely praise you as a true public servant who has devoted
himself beyond the call of duty, to the cause of freedom on behalf of the people of the
United States. You have accomplished for the world community more than you promised
and beyond what we expected. At last, the unexpected, incredible and miraculous day has
come to Earth, and we have won the historic war of banishing the evil of communism from
the face of the Earth. This victory will be glittering as the everlasting hope in the hearts of
all mankind. Praise you! Praise you! We are so greatly appreciative of your profound
contribution not only for the people of the United States but also to entire world community
for generations to come.
You have been criticized by the Democrats for the Iran-Contra affair. We believe that the
true issue of Iran Contra is in my file as follows:
Under the guise of the so-called "Human Rights Policy", the Carter administration sent to
Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi strong private signals ordering him not to militarily suppress
the demonstrations (terrorists) and to release the political prisoners (terrorists) from jail.
Pahlavi resisted first, but he finally capitulated to the Carter administration. As the results,
these terrorists who were supported by the Carter administration deposed Pahlavi and let
Khomeini return to Iran. The result of the Human Rights Policy was disastrous for
American citizens and the human suffering was very high,--53 American citizens held
hostage for 444 days, 241 American Marines killed in the terrorist bombing by Khomeini's
agents, and numerous hostages taken in the Middle East which lead to the "Iran-Contra"
affair. It is in human nature that when persons are taken hostage, their friends, family and
compatriots will make every desperate effort to rescue them, at any price. Some might have
risked their own lives. It is a human duty to attempt to rescue them in any possible way.
Therefore, the Iran-Contra affair should be blamed on the Carter administration who created
the trap for the Americans in the first place, but should not blame someone who bravely
rescued them. It is not a campaign issue. Bill Clinton attacked these actions by stating that
the rescue action was illegal. This is the same kind of argument was used by candidate
Walter Mondale in 1984, such as, despite the fact that the Grenada rescue mission was
imperative for the security of the lives of over 1,300 American citizens and this nation, the

Democratic presidential candidate of 1984, former Vice President Mondale, criticized the
mission by saying, "We cannot tolerate censorship in this country, period," even over 85%
of the American people had approved of the mission. He said those very words because he
was extremely hungry for political power and thought he could win the 1984 elections by
criticizing Reagan/Bush administration and falsely labeling their action as "censorship". Bill
Clinton and Mondale are inhuman because they did not care about the lives of others but they
only care about their election votes.
Bill Clinton attacked the economic politics of the Reagan and Bush administrations. Bill
Clinton is knowingly and purposely falsifying information in order to make the people upset,
turn against the Bush administration and make himself electable. The Bush administration
not only has won the incredible war to banish the evil of communism but also built up the
economy. During the Carter administration interest rates were as high as 21% and inflation
rate reached 13.5%. Now the inflation rate is 3.5% and the interest rate is below 8%.
There was also significant rise in the levels of productivity. Even in this recessionary
period, our economy is the envy of Europe. It is truly miraculous that in spite of the
extremely high price that we paid for defense cost, the national economy improved so
dramatically during the Reagan and Bush administrations and many of the grave mistakes of
the Carter administration were rectified. Bill Clinton has disseminated the false information.
Now, the voices of the people are higher and higher day by day demanding a sincere apology
from Bill Clinton for having knowingly delivered the false information for his election
benefit. No matter what Bill Clinton says, the people who stood behind the Reagan and
Bush administration and made the landslide victories of 1980's possible, have clearly
complete confidence in the present administration based on 12 years of accomplishments.
But the people clearly realize Bill Clinton's promises are not based on any experience and
have no foundation. He has no sense of judgment and caters to the special interest group in
order to win votes.
The successful domestic and foreign policies of the past twelve years prove the capability and
experience of the Reagan and Bush administrations. Their strong leadership, both at home
and abroad, preserved the resolve of the world community and maintained the indomitably
strong defense bases of the free allied nations for everyone's benefit against the Kremlin
aggression and injustice.
The major achievements of the Reagan and Bush administrations which made the final
victory over communism possible were:
1.
Rejection of the unilateral nuclear arms production freeze policy of the
Carter/Mondale Administration and the overtures of House and Senate members who

wanted only to secure their seats in the Congress for their own benefit.
2.
Rejection of the policy of halting the production of MX missile systems as desired by
the Congress and the Carter administration.
3.
Support of the British during the Falklands Islands Crisis in order to promote world
community leadership.
4.
Rejection of the withdrawal of the ground forces from South Korea, as promoted by
Congress and the Carter administration, in order to secure the strong defense base
across the Pacific region against the Kremlin.
5.
The rescue of the Americans trapped in Grenada and the reinstatement of the
legitimate democratic government of that nation. This action furthermore precluded
the establishment of nuclear arms bases in the Caribbean for use by the Soviets and
contributed to eradicating the evil of communism.
6.
Successful sales of appropriate arms to Saudi Arabia through the judicious exercise of
veto of unproductive congressional resolutions in order to secure strong defense base
in the Middle East region.
7.
The bombing of international terrorist bases in Libya with the assistance of the British
in order to stop terrorism.
8.
Exercise successful leadership in the world community by standing tall for justice and
righteousness. The Bush administration bravely and valiantly carried out the crucial
operations of Desert Shield and Desert Storm against the insane regime of Sadam
Hussein.
The veto by President Reagan of a bill which prevented the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia,
and the fact that it was sustained by a margin 66 to 34 shows the foresightedness of the
foreign policy of the Reagan/Bush administration. The decision to sell arms to Saudi Arabia
was the significant key to success and victory in the Desert Storm operation. The victory
has proven the powerful leadership of the Bush administration. The rescue mission of
Americans trapped in Grenada has proven to be a historically brave defense policy against
the opposition at home and by the UN. These accomplishments prove the leadership
capability of the Bush administration.

In conclusion, the defense policy of the Bush administration has been without comparison in
human history. The American people trust the Bush administration 100%.
We, the American people strongly trust the realistic economic plan of the Bush
administration through the worldwide free trade system. The capability for success has been
proven by the experience of the past 12 years with the historical victory of the national
defense mission and the economic improvement from the era of the Carter administration.
The successful realization of the ideal worldwide free trade mission will not be performed
over night, nor will it come by itself.
The state of the economy is directly related to the human physical life and state of the peace
or war. For a long time during the long human history, the only way to obtain relief from a
great economic recession was to go to war. The true purpose of worldwide free trade system
is to solve the problem of recession through peace not through war. Indeed, it is impossible
to solve the problem simply, cheaply or quickly. The worldwide free trade system provides
controls on the economic cycles for the entire world community by human management
through peace and not through war.
Therefore, the Free Trade Policy will directly serve to contribute to the security of the
economic system for the entire world community by:
1.
Controlling and stabilizing the inflation rate in world community.
2.
Securing jobs for the working people throughout the world.
3.
Controlling and stabilizing the consumer price index throughout the world.
4.
Adjusting production levels by the demands of the world community.
5.
Securing the true harmonious way of life for the entire world community in peace
under God.
Number 4 above, the adjustments of production levels, is the most significant and serious
problem directly related to the economic health without recession.

The time is seriously essential in order to win the battle. We have to move forward in the
right direction as soon as possible because there is not much time left. The time is real
critical.
We must do something in a different way as quickly as possible before the people stand at
the ballot box and let the people understand the true information against the misinformation

Sixteen years ago the people of the United States made the biggest mistake of voting the
wrong person to the highest office in this land, the White House, and as a result, the great
nation of America was out of control, not only of the problems at home, such as the
economy, national defense, morality of family value, but also the problems abroad caused by
immature foreign policy, which destroyed the strong strength of free allied nations, shored
up international terrorists to give them human rights, do whatever they wished to do and tied
up our military arms production and let the Soviet Union stand tall as a super nation on
Earth.
Fortunately, 12 years ago this unendurably painful experience taught the people of America
to vote two true patriots in the office as a landslide election resulted.
As the result, for 12 years these patriots, the Reagan and Bush Administration, were the true
public servants and they have devoted themselves to serve beyond the call of duty, risked
their own lives on behalf of the people of the United States and accomplished more than they
promised and we expected. At last, the unexpected incredible and miraculous day has come
on Earth.
We won the historic war of banishing the evil of communism from the face of the Earth.
The people of the world never dreamt of this becoming a reality so quickly. Now we, the
United States of America, stand tall among nations as the only superpower and the greatest
in human history. Praise God! Praise the American people! And praise the Reagan and
Bush Administrations! The realization of this mission was not by natural causes or random
processes, or by an accident or coincidence. It did not come about by itself. The key
element of this realization was the sincere devotion and the sacrifices of the Reagan and Bush
Administrations on behalf of the people of the United States of America. The Reagan and
Bush Administrations not only bolstered the national defense which has proven to be so
important, but they also built up the economy. The 21% interest and 13.5% inflation rates
of the Carter Administration were reduced to under 8% and 3.5%. There was also a rise in
the levels of productivity. Even in this recessionary period, our economy is the envy of
Europe. It is truly miraculous that in spite of the extremely high price that we paid for

defense and peace through strength, that the national economy improved so dramatically
during the Reagan and Bush Administrations, and the stagnation of the Carter presidency is
behind us.
The major accomplishments of the Reagan and Bush Administrations were:
1 - -
Rejection of the unilateral nuclear arms production freeze. The Reagan/Bush
Administration rejected the losing policy of the Carter/Mondale Administration and
similar suggestions by the members of Congress.
2 - -
Rejection of the policy of halting the production of the MX missile systems as desired
by the Carter Administration and some members of the Congress.
3 - -
Support of the British during the Falklands Islands crisis.
4 - - Rejection of the proposed withdrawal of American forces from South Korea as
promoted by the Carter Administration and some members of the Congress.
5 - - The rescue of Americans trapped in Grenada and the re-instatement of the legitimate
democratic government of that nation. This action furthermore precluded the
establishment of nuclear arms bases in the Carribean for use by the Soviets against
opposition at home and the United Nations.
6 - Successful sales of arms to Saudi Arabia through judicious exercise of veto of the
destructive congressional resolution. This action had significant implications for the
Desert Storm victory.
7- - The bombing of the international terrorist bases in Libya with the assistance of the
British. That action helped to stop international terrorists from operating, taking
hostages and hijacking airplanes.

Exercise successful leadership in the Desert Storm operation. The Bush
Administration stood up for justice and righteousness and exercised strong leadership
for the international community.
The mandate of the Bush Administration has not been completed. For the next four years
the Bush Administration has set up the unprecedented plan to vitalize the economy through
free trade and the promotion of the world-wide free enterprise system throughout the world.
Not only the people of the United States will benefit from this policy, the entire world
community will be the beneficiary of the free trading system.
We have clearly complete confidence in President Bush. His capability, experience, and
successful leadership of the world community for over a decade are essential for the success
of the plan. We have witnessed miraculous accomplishments during the Reagan and Bush
Administrations. We can trust the Bush Administration since the past twelve years show that
the Bush Administration will fulfil its mandate.

On the other hand, Bill Clinton's promises are not based on experience and have no
foundation. He has no sense of judgment, and caters to the special interest groups in order
to win votes. This is very harmful to the welfare of society. Bill Clinton does not have the
experience in foreign affairs for the leadership of the world community. We cannot trust
him with such grave responsibility without any experience. His promises are uncertain at
best since he does not have the experience and know how to realize his proposed plans. He
may repeat the mistakes of the Carter Administration. We cannot afford to hand over the
leadership of our country to this inexperienced new born politician. We completely trust the
Bush Administration, but Bill Clinton does not have any credibility.
The economic plan of the Bush Administration for the next four years is realistic. Under the
successful Free Trade System the economic projections for the next four years are as

DEAR FRIENDS, THE GREAT PEOPLE OF AMERICA
Truly, we are proud to be Americans!
At last, the long awaited incredible and miraculous day has
come on earth. The great people of America, the watchmen on the
wall of freedom and peace for man, have completed their great
mission and duty to SOW the seeds of peace and freedom in all the
corners of the earth.
The price of our mission to bring freedom and peace to all
mankind has been extremely high; but the American people have
always paid the price. The powerful administrations of Reagan
and Bush--governments of the people, by the people, and for the
people--have earnestly sown the seeds of freedom and peace from
early in the morning to late into the night during the last 12
years. With tears and sweat, these administrations have
completed their duty to the people of the United States and the
people of the world. The enemy of human beings--the evil of
communism--has been rooted out and deported from the face of the
earth.
The cost of evicting that tyrant from its havens has been
the sweat, blood, and lives of many young American men and women
given in such conflicts as World War I, World War II, the Korean
War, the Vietnam War, the Cuban Crisis of 1962, the Grenada
Crisis of 1983, and the Gulf War. Many brave American patriots--
including those in the Reagan and Bush administrations- have been
fighting against enemies both foreign and domestic and all of the
above operations have contributed greatly to today's victory and
the achievement of freedom and peace for man on the earth.
Above all, the Cuban Crisis in 1962, during President
Kennedy's time, and the Grenada Crisis of 1983, during the
Reagan/Bush administration, were fundamental battles to assure
that the national defense capabilities of the United States would
not be compromised by the establishment of nuclear bases for
Soviet Union in the Caribbean Islands--right on our door step.
Now, Bill Clinton is criticizing the Bush Administration in the
following manner:
1. Bill Clinton says whatever he thinks without any real
understanding of the needs of our national defense, our economic
situation, and the morality in American society under the
Carter/Mondale administration.
2. Recklessly and thoughtlessly, Bill Clinton is pledging to
secure the rights of special groups in order to get votes from
them without properly distinguishing right or wrong just like
Carter and Mondale did.
Bill Clinton should realize, at least, the following true

facts of recent history before he criticizes the Reagan/Bush
administration.
1. Because Bill Clinton is a naive politician, he doesn't
remember the condition of this nation under the Carter/Mondale
administration. When the Reagan/Bush administration took over
management of this nation from Carter and Mondale, our national
defense capabilities were in a critical and dangerous condition.
If the Carter/Mondale administration had continued, before long,
the United States would have been forced to surrender
unconditionally to Soviet Union. This disaster would have been
the result of the naive and immature foreign policies of Carter
and Mondale. Their policies led not only to a weakening of our
military power, but also to the loss or impending loss of strong
allied nations such as Iran and South Korea was almost lost under
the Carter adminstration but the Reagan administration saved the
community.
History clearly shows that Khomeini's powerful and
outrageous organization of international terrorists was shored up
and their infamous acts against the American people encouraged by
the immature foreign policy of the Carter/Mondale administration
and their so called "human rights policy." This naive and
immature foreign policy eventually destroyed the human rights of
every Iranian citizen and crushed the human dignity of the 53
American hostages held illegally in Iran for 444 days. The
Iranian people have since suffered under the yokes of
dictatorship and poverty as Khomeini's insane rule has diminished
the national productivity of Iran by more than 75%.
The Shah Pahlavi, after his exile from Iran, indicated that
"My biggest mistake was in listening to the Americans about our
internal problems and in following the private orders of Carter.'
The release of terrorists from Iranian jails, as demanded by
Carter, only gave the terrorists the opportunity to regroup and
reattack. As a result of the Carter/Mondale administration's
mistaken policies, we lost a strong ally, Iran.
In 1979, when President Carter visited South Korea, a list
containing the names of 93 political prisoners was given to
Park's government by the Carter/Mondale Administration. Carter
insisted that these criminals by released. However, this list
was compiled by Carter/Mondale administration aides who knew
nothing about the prisoners' crimes and nothing of the true
natures of those prisoners. That meddling action was shameful
for America and disastrous for South Korea in that it destroyed
Korea's national unity, confused the Korean people, and
encouraging them to defy the authority of the Korean government.
However, a wise President Park did not listen to Carter's demands
because he knew that implementing those ridiculous demands would
have resulted in Iranian-style chaos in Korea.
Carter and Mondale also acted to critically weaken the
national defense capabilities of our nation. This dangerous
situation was underlined by a comparison of our antiquated armed

forces with the modern and more powerful arms of the Soviets.
This grave situation was the result of the unilateral arms freeze
imposed on the United States by Carter and Mondale--an act
clearly in the Soviets' interest. Thus, Carter/Mondale
completely destroyed the honorable pride and powerful strength of
this great nation.
However, the Reagan/Bush administration rebuilt the power of
this nation and made it again the powerful defender of freedom.
As long as we stand tall, our generation will no longer have any
risk of nuclear attack on or for our children and their children
will definitely be saved from the horrible threat of communist
domination and nuclear war.
2. The social security system ran into serious trouble during
the Carter/Mondale administration, but the Reagan/Bush
administration saved it and insured its viability at the present
time.
3. Under Carter and Mondale, interest rate were as high as 21%
and inflation was uncontrolled and running as high as 13.5%
annually. Reagan and Bush brought down interest rates from 21%
to 8% and brought inflation under control--reducing it from 13.5%
to 3.5% annually.
4. A loss of more than 16 million young people per year to the
evil influence of atheistic secular humanism and their consequent
were straying from family values under the Carter administration
was reversed during the Reagan and Bush administrations as the
youth of America began to rise up and walk away from evil
attitudes and influences.
5. The sanctioning of murder through the legalization of
abortion was supported by Carter and Mondale. This cost the
American taxpayer over $12 billion per year in blood tax money.
Under the Reagan and Bush administrations, there began a
revitalization of the American woman's genuine motherly love
towards her children which prevented her from murdering her
unborn child. The funding of $12 billion dollars worth of murder
through public funding of legal abortions was stopped.
6. An increase in the depth of infiltration by KGB agents into
our society through their obtaining positions of influence--under
the mask of human rights--in professors' groups, lawyers' groups,
Christian ministers' groups, equal rights groups, schools, etc
was halted. Now, previous KGB activity has been terminated
through our victory of the Cold War forever.
7. In 1983, all domestic enemies--such as thoughtless, selfish,
cowardly and pro-Kremlin congressional members and Democratic
presidential candidate, Walter Mondale--and external enemies--
such as the United Nations--spinelessly deplored the heroic
action of Reagan/Bush administration as they acted to rescue
United States citizens trapped in Grenada. However, the
Reagan/Bush administration fearlessly and bravely stood with

family system. It is deeply painful that over 50% of American
families end in divorce and millions of young children are
released in the streets or live in broken homes.
If Bill Clinton is elected President of the United States,
the morality, order and peace of this nation will be at stake and
the situation will be many times worse than it was under the
Carter and Mondale administration since even Carter did not
publicly support gay rights.
10. Clinton purposely and knowingly spreads lies and falsehoods
about the Reagan/Bush administration in order to make the people
upset so that they will vote for him.
But history clearly shows that the Bush Administration has
done nothing wrong. On the contrary, it has successfully
completed the incredible mission to deport communism from the
earth. People must realize that the economy under Bush is much
healthier than it was under Carter.
In this critical moment, the people of the United States
must make the choice which will seal the success of the great
mission for the benefit of all mankind begun by the Reagan and
Bush administrations. Under the experienced and visionary
leadership of the Bush administration we have won. However, as
in the past, our worst enemies are at home in the form of te
unexperienced, thoughtless, and destructive Democratic candidates
as the same as Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton delivered a speech in which he promised to
"change" America. His changed America would mean gravely danger
for all mankind. The United States of America is now the
strongest nation in the world, standing tall as a leader of the
world community, fighting to secure freedom and peace for all
humanity. Bill Clinton's changeling America would be a bastard
society even worse than that of Carter's.
Let us continue the great mission we and the Bush
administration have scarcely won under God's guidance.

THE KEY EFFORT OF DEVOTION
Under the Reagan and Bush administrations, the realization
of success of the incredible and miraculous mission was not by
any natural variation or random transformation, not by accident
or coincidence--it did not come of itself. The key element of
success was the sincerely sacrificial devotion of both Reagan and
Bush at the risk of their own lives on behalf of the people of
the country and the United States they love. The Reagan and Bush
administrations have stood as firmly as mountains in order to
accomplish their plans for success. They have withstood the
opposition to their policies both at home and abroad and their
policies have been proven to be sound and correct.
These successful policies were based upon the proven concept
of "peace through strength." Their strong leadership both at
home and abroad preserved the resolve of the world community and
maintained the indomitably strong defense bases of the free
allied nations for everyone's mutual benefit against the Kremlin
aggression and all injustice.
The major policies were under Reagan and Bush were:
1. Rejection of the unilateral nuclear arms production freeze
while the Soviet Union continued to violate every treaty it had
ever signed. The Reagan/Bush Administration did not accept the
losing policy of the Carter/Mondale administration and rejected
the overtures of House and Senate members who wanted only to
secure their seats for their own benefit.
2. Rejection of the policy of halting the production of MX
missile systems as desired by Congress and the Carter
administration.
3. Support of the British during the Falklands Islands Crisis.
4. Rejection of the withdrawal of the ground forces from South
Korea, as promoted by Congress and the Carter administration.
5. The rescue of Americans trapped in Grenada and the
reinstatement of the legitimate democratic government of that
nation. This action furthermore precluded the establishment of
nuclear arms bases in Caribbean for use by the Soviets.
6. Successful sales of appropriate arms to Saudi Arabia through
the judicious exercise of the veto of unproductive congressional
resolutions.
7. The bombing of international terrorist bases in Libya with
the assistance of the British.
8. Exercise successful leadership in the world community by
standing tall for justice and righteousness. The Bush

administration bravely and valiantly carried out the crucial
operation of both Desert Shield and Desert Storm against the
insane regime of Saddam Hussein.
We must remember that the success of Desert Storm was based
upon the outstanding, fore-sighted foreign policy of the
Reagan/Bush administration. Some years ago, in 1986, the Senate
was preparing to override President Reagan veto of a bill to
prevent the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia. The final tally of
votes was 66 against the veto and 34 in favor of the veto--margin
of victory in sustaining President Reagan's veto was only one
vote. It was a real miracle. God remembered the sincere
devotion of Reagan and Bush and how they had risked their lives
on behalf of the people of the world community. The price of
this miraculous victory was returned many times over when we used
Saudi Arabian bases to repell Saddam Hussein's aggression upon
Kuwait. The decision to sell arms to Saudi Arabia was the
significant key to success and victory in the Mideast region.
Without the insightful application of foreign policy by the
Bush administration, the finalization of the mission for "Freedom
and Peace" for entire world community would have been impossible.
Because of President Bush's leadership, the success was ours for
the following reasons:
1. All of the highly experienced leaders of the world community
of nations willingly listened to the Bush administration because
they highly respect and sincerely trust the Bush team. However,
the leaders of world community will not respect Bill Clinton nor
trust him at all because they very concerned about his immoral
political base, e.g. homosexuals, and his lack of experience.
2. It is clear that the direction of Reagan and Bush's foreign
policy is completely different from the direction taken by the
Congress, which is controlled by some thoughtless members of the
Democratic Party, of which Bill Clinton is one of them.
Specifically, the direction of the Reagan/Bush administration's
foreign policy has been constructive; working with all free
allied nations to secure mutual survival. Conversely, the
direction of the Democratic Party's foreign policy is
destructive. The selfish and thoughtless direction of the
Democratic Party's foreign policy did not secure the free allied
nations. The Democrat's foreign policy vision is very narrow and
myopic, e.g. the attempt to block in the sale of missiles to
Saudi Arabia, the attempt to withdraw ground forces from South
Korea, and etc.
All of the free allied nations clearly realize that the
world community would definitely lose capable leadership if Bill
Clinton is elected as President of the United States. All
nations which are individual parts of the defense of the world
community realize that Bill Clinton's foreign policy direction
and the resolutions of the U.S. Congress are totally different
from that of President Bush. All experienced and thoughtful
leaders of the world nations sincerely hope that President Bush

wins the Presidential election in November because they desire
continued strong leadership within and guiding the United
Nations.
Through the Reagan and Bush administrations, communism was
deported from the Earth and the Soviet Union surrendered. "Peace
and Freedom" was brought to our door step by Reagan and Bush and
now we must secure the economy of the ex-Soviet Union and help it
to survive.
However, we must remember that the people of the United
States must no longer be sacrificed. The people of the United
States have paid an extremely high price in carrying out the
indispensable mission for humanity for almost a century. The
price for the people of the United States was the creation of the
near five trillion national debt.
The people of the United States understand that the nursing
of the new born freedom nations such as the ex-Soviet Union and
mainland China can only succeed under the leadership of the most
powerful nation in the world community, the United States. Of
course success will not be possible without strong and capable
leadership in the White House.
The strong and capable leadership depends upon the
intelligence and foresight of a foreign policy lead by
experience, which will not occur if the Presidency changes hands.
Now, there is another equally indispensable element to
achieving the mission. That element is the security of our
domestic economy. The United States must provide for a strong
and capable domestic economy. The United States is strong enough
to carry out its mission without increasing taxes and without
increasing the national debt. The people of the United States
must secure and improve the strength of the economy through a
reasonable free trade policy.
As planned, we trust that the Bush administration is able to
secure and achieve the strength of the economy of the United
States through a successful FREE TRADE SYSTEM which includes all
of the nations of the world, including the ex-Soviet Union and
mainland China. All members of the world community of nations
must work together to survive and enjoy life for years to come
without war.

Dear Senator
I greatly appreciate your kind response to the numerous letters I have sent to
you in the past regarding issues of national defense.
I write you today to sincerely remind you that a sale of arms and weaponry to
Saudi Arabia would strengthen our relationship with that free allied nation--a
major power in that region. Such an action would greatly revitalize the true
spirit of the Libya bombing mission so that all terrorists will be completely
dissuaded from killing and kidnapping innocent people throughout the world.
Our solidarity with Saudi Arabia, as would be demonstrated through a sale of
arms to that free ally, will send a clear message of isolation to both Kadafi
and the Kremlin. I call on all thoughtful and patriotic Senators to stand up
in support of the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia.
The Senator leading the opposition to this sale of arms to Saudi Arabia is
Senator Alan Cranston of California. As Senator Cranston always opposes any
national security proposal made by President Reagan or his Administration, it
would be instructive to juxtapose and compare the contributions of both Presi-
dent Reagan and Senator Cranston to our national defense policy.
As you know, in 1983, President Reagan acted to rescue more than one thousand
American citizens from Grenada. Over 85% of the people of the United States
approved of and acknowledged the urgency and justice of that mission which not
only prevented a repeat of the Iranian Hostage situation, but also prevented
the establishment of a terrorist base in our backyard. Following this suc-
cessful mission, the Kremlin attacked President Reagan with strong rhetoric--
calling him an "invader"--from both Moscow and the floor of the United Na-
tions. At the same time, Senator Cranston also strongly critized President
Reagan for "censorship" from the floor of the Senate. In this matter, Senator
Cranston was in opposition to the opinion of over 85% of the American people.
He was, however, in complete agreement with the brutal Kremlin.
Let us also briefly examine his voting record in the Senate. Any bills or
proposals from the Reagan administration seeking to consolidate our national
strength both at home and abroad are opposed by the Kremlin. They are also
opposed by Senator Cranston.
As to the indispensable mission of bombing the terrorist bases in Libya--a
brave decision which could only have been made by our sacrificial and patri-
otic leader, President Reagan-Senator Cranston was not at all pleased by the

President's action and, with the Kremlin, strongly attacked it and labeled it
a "criminal action". Meanwhile, over 85% of the American people praised Presi-
dent Reagan's great action and said that it was the right decision at the
right time because for many decades, both our will and our patience have been
tested by the continuously escalating number of killings, kidnappings, and
bombings carried out by terrorists. President Reagan acted as he did, when
did, because the greatest danger would have been in doing nothing.
Let us recall the patriotic words of President Reagan:
No one can kill Americans anywhere in the world.
With these words, tears were ready to well up in the eyes of all Americans.
This statement left patriotism glowing deeply in the heart of every individual
American.
Now, after the arms sale to Saudi Arabia was disapproved, Senator Cranston,
who led the opposition to that sale, was very pleased and said, in what may be
termed his "victory statement," that "the Administration and the Saudis have
thrown in the towel." These thoughtless words deeply shocked more than 85% of
the American people. The leaders of the Kremlin, on the other hand, were
delighted by Senator Cranston's exclamation. Senator Cranston went on to say:
As a matter of principle, I do not believe we should be selling
our advanced weapons to a nation that thwarts American interests
in the Middle East, that bankrolls nations and organizations that
support terrorists and that backs Kadafi against the United
States.
This statement seems very reasonable--indeed, all of Senator Cranston's state-
ments seem reasonable. However, as is characteristic of his rhetoric, Senator
Cranston has mis-applied his words in order to garner support for his opposi-
tion to the arms sale and misdirect the American people from his real pur-
pose--the complete destruction of all the forces of our free allied nations in
the Mideast. Such action will result in a greater Soviet presence in that
region and would be wholly disastrous to both our national defense forces and
the defense forces of our free allies.
His behavior, as briefly detailed above, indicates that Senator Cranston is a
pro-Kremlin politician.
The argument in opposition to arm sales to nations in the Mideast is not new-
in Life, all things are risky. However, following the historical bombing
mission to Libya, this arms sale to Saudi Arabia is essential not only to
revitalize the true spirit of the necessary bombing of terrorist bases in
Libya--thereby dissuading terrorists from kidnapping and killing innocent
people--but also so as to maintain our relationships with our strong free
allies in the Mideast.
The proposed arms sale is an extraordinary deal for the United States. We
must remember that we will not be giving away those arms and weapons to Saudi
Arabia for free. In addtion to the pure economics of this transaction, the
sale will maintain the strong and invaluable free allied friendship between
the United States and Saudi Arabia.

Therefore, before you make this important decision, you must quietly and
sincerely consider the following three fundamental issues:
1.
On which slate is your name written? On the slate for a strong
national defense with President Reagan or on the anti-national
defense slate of the liberal politician, Senator Cranston?
2.
At this critical time, which will determine whether or not the
result of the Libya bombing mission will be the rooting out of the
inveterate enemy of humanity--terrorists--based in Libya, our sale
of arms will be the single key factor which will revitalize the
true spirit of that mission.
3.
We must keep in mind the extremely important fact that resolutions
by our Congress concerning our national defense policy are always
100% favorable for the Soviets--allowing them to comfortably build
great military superiority over the U.S. while our military
strength is continually being restricted through the actions of
the groups in Congress headed by Senator Cranston and Speaker
O'Neill. Nevertheless, President Reagan and patriotic Congressmem-
bers continuously and earnestly worked to turn this scandalous
situation around through great and heartfelt efforts on their
parts. It was through their honest sacrifices that this nation
was saved.
Therefore, before long, the American people will become sorely aware of this
painful reality and those seats, in both houses, shall be filled by patriotic
Senators and Representatives. The results of each election will similarly
affirm the mandate of the Presidential elections of both 1980 and 1984. Such
results will be obtained through the efforts of the coalition of national
patriotic organizations known as In Defense of America.
Indeed, Almighty God is always at the side of President Reagan. We see this
unmistakable reality through the clear evidence presented by the following
fact. Shortly after the Soviets began strongly attacking President Reagan's
bombing mission of Libya as a "criminal act" and pledging to join Kadafi in
his revenge on the U.S., God caused the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl to
blow up and seriously injure the Soviet Union. This was not a coincidence,
but was clearly an act of God designed to frighten the Soviets out of their
senses so that they would be forced to keep silent about Reagan's just action.
If God did not act on time, no one could know what brutal acts would have been
taken by the joint abomination of Kadafi and the Soviet Union.
As a whole, the proposal to sell arms to Saudi Arabia by President Reagan is
of paramount importance to our national defense interests in that region.
Therefore, I sincerely urge that you, as a sincere patriot and Senator of this
great nation, support the arms sale proposal to Saudi Arabia. To support such
a sale is to follow the will of God. In other words, as is the will of God,
through the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia, the true spirit and the honest
purpose of the Libyan bombing mission will be revitalized and preserved as a
signal of the beginning of the punishment of all terrorists by the most just
and powerful nation on earth and will serve to free innocent people everywhere
from the fear of brutal and outrageous terrorism. Support of the arms sale is

also to respect the opinion of over 85% of American people. You must remember
that President Reagan's national defense policy was approved by 49 states from
coast to coast and over 85% of the American people in his historical 1984
landslide victory.
We must all stand up in support of our national strength and remember that we
must never choose the path of surrender to the Kremlin. We are watchmen on
the walls working to preserve the peace and freedom of all mankind through our
indomitable national strength.
We are proud to be Americans! With God's leadership and help, we will un-
doubtedly overcome this dangerous crisis at home-the proliferation of
thoughtless members in Congress. This we shall accomplish without difficulty
if we, as a powerful army "in defense of America," contribute our best ef-

THE WORLDWIDE FREE TRADE SYSTEM
Under the Free Trade Plan, the following conditions are required:
1. The purposes of Free Trade Plan are to:
A. Create jobs within free trade countries for the mutual
benefit of the free trade countries and the United States. It is
clear that the people of the United States can no longer
sacrifice any more for the free trade nations. More detailed
information will set forth within each program below.
B. Secure employment for the people of the United States
domestically in any event and to prevent the lay off of workers
in order to protect both welfare of the people of the United
States and the purchasing power of workers in the United States.
The United States Secretary of Labor recently announced that
when the North American Free Trade Treaty (NAFTT) goes into
effect, more than 150,000 people in the United States will lose
their jobs. In order to combat the unemployment effects of the
NAFTT, an alternative plan must be carefully and systematically
implemented. This alternative plan will avoid unilateral cuts in
employment within the United States due to the employment of
cheap foreign labor cost in plant established abroad by
manufacturers. The loss of jobs in the United States caused by
cheap foreign labor is a critically dangerous problem. This
substitution of cheap foreign labor for United States labor will
destroy the purchasing power of workers in the United States.
Such action is suicide both for the people of the United States
and for the manufacturers.
C. Secure the wages of employees in the United States without
wage increases.
D. Decrease consumer prices by up to 25% or more in the United
States and to secure consumer prices in free trade nations. No
increase in production cost is possible in order to secure the
market.
E. Require business firms involved in the Free Trade Plan to
work together to ensure the success of the policy. Control of
production costs in the United States must occur in order to
secure stable consumer prices.
F. Control production amounts at a level which must not be in
excess of that demanded by the markets of the world. The results
will create economic recession.
G. Secure markets in the United States. This subject is the
key successful implementation of the Free Trade Plan since the
major consumers of products produced in free trade nations will

be in the United States. No matter how cheap the products are,
if there is no market to consume the products, then the products
are valueless and useless.
Therefore, to secure the manufacturing business,
manufacturers must secure the market. In order to secure the
market, the people who reside in the market region, the United
States, must have a secure job.
The major consumer of products produced by Free Trade Plan
the nations must be the people of the United States. Again, in
order to secure the market, manufacturers must secure and protect
the jobs of the people of the United States.
So there must be protection for manufacturers themselves.
The factories in the United States must not be closed because
when the factories in the United States are closed, the market
automatically will be closed due to an absence of buying power on
the part of the unemployed worker.
Manufacturers involved in the Free Trade Plan must keep in
mind the following important facts in order to protect their
business:
When a subsidiary production plant is built abroad; it must
1. Keep operating the plants in the United States as long as
its subsidiary plants are operating in a free-trade zone abroad.
2. Secure the jobs of the employees in the United States.
3. Secure the wages of the employees in the United States.
4. Secure the consumer's price in the United States.
5. Control the production cost as calculated according to the
regime set forth below.
6. Control the production cost of the subsidiary plant abroad
to be at the lowest price as possible in order to secure the
consumer's price in the United States as well as in the world.
7. Not provide annual increases in wages in the United States
plants as well as foreign subsidiary plants. In order to secure
the inflation rate in the United States as well as abroad. Wage
increases based on skill and experience may occur, however yearly
base increases would by prohibited since this causes inflation.
8. No overtime work in the absence of an emergency in order to
share the jobs with everyone.
The rate of hourly wages is different between workers in the
United States and workers abroad because of the following
reasons:

In the United States, consumer prices are higher than in new
born freedom nations for the following reasons:

the countless wars and crisis throughout the world.
Because of the high price paid by Americans for freedom and
peace, the economy of the United States had been confronted
impatient difficulty, especially after World War I, World War II,
Korean War and recently Gulf War, the United States government
has paid the high price for national defense including free
allied nations for defense project against communism and aid for
poor abroad and undeveloped nations for food, clothing and
medical supplies plus their own national defense costs. This
duty behalf of God pushed up high inflation rate, high consumer
price and created high unemployment rate and the national debt of
the United States reached over many trillion dollars in order to
secure consumer market for production for fee allied nations such
as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan in the past 40 years. The high
consumer price is greatly damaged to working people of the United
States. But, now on no longer, the people of the United States
will be sacrificed for that purpose.
In other words, we, all the people of the world, share our
burden for each other, working together to solve
the confronted problems to secure and reduce the consumer price
in the United States and throughout the world. Of course, it is
impossible to succeed overnight or the people of the United
States alone.
This great mission will be only impossible when God gives us
the wisdom to let the people of the world work together as a unit
to solve the problems to secure human morality and economic
strength to carry out the human duty generation to generation
year to come with the freedom and peace of mankind.
The permanent security of economy strength in the world is
only possible through fair Free Trade Policy across the earth.
2. The people of the world must understand that through the
free trade system throughout the world the United States is the
indispensable market to consume the products through Free Trade
Policy and also products in the United States consume the world

remember the security of the economy of the United States is
namely return to the security of the economy of the world while
the United States is the leader nation to secure all welfare and
freedom and peace for all nations in the world.
Therefore, we are going to discuss briefly regarding Free
Trade Policy between North American countries and new born
freedom countries such as ex Soviet Union and Mainland China.
This is the prime idea and we must study this idea through
professional persons with up to date information, such as
economical, political and marketing, businessmen, manufacturers
and management system of government of the United States and the
nations of the world after the election.
Now,

Free
Trade
Policy will be divided into the following programs:
PROGRAM 1

3. Determination of Consumer Prices.
First, consumer price in the United States:
Products cost must be calculated by synthesize figure with
the production cost in the United States plant and the production
cost of sub-plant abroad. In other words, a unit production cost
of the United States plus a unit production cost of sub-plant
abroad and divide by 2 and the answer will be base for
determining consumer price in the United States, the method is
reducing consumer price up to 25% over 4 years in the United
States.
Second, the consumer price abroad:
Normally, based on the production cost by the actual cost
but consumer price should be lower price as possible in order to
secure inflation rate of zero % yearly both in the United States
and abroad.

4. The amount of production increase will be the same rate of
population growing rate in the world in order to protect
over-production. (Too much production results in problems of
economic recession) Production will be increased by demanded
consumers.
5. If full employment force plant in the United States produce
more than the amount demanded by consumer market the full
employment force should be SHIFTED INTO TWO TEAMS SCHEDULE
without lay off. Total work force should divide two teams. Each
team work 6 hours per day with securing 8 hour wages. The first
team start to work 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM with one hour lunch time.
Second team start to work 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one hour for
lunch time. Two hours to be paid by labor savings realized by
foreign sub-plants.
This two teams schedule will greatly help transportation
problems for the workers in the United States, bumper to bumper
early morning and after work. Someone gets up at 5 o'clock in
the morning in order to work on time at 8 o'clock AM and at 7 to
8:00 PM the people arrive home after work ends at 5:00 PM. In
order to work 8 hours a day, the people spent 12-13 hours. This
schedule will save 2 or 3 hours idle time. Then, the people can
spend more time to enjoy with family with reduce idle time.
American people were sacrificed for others for almost a century
spending 12-13 hours a day and paid taxes and national debit over
piled up many trillion dollars which sooner or later American
people must pay. All this price paid by the people of the United
States have secured today's victory of freedom and peace for
world, and also the people of the United States must nurture all
new born freedom nations to secure job. In order to secure their
job, the United States must secure the market consume the
products produced in new born free nations. In fact, sub-plant
in free trade nations will take care of the part of wages of the
main plant in the United States in order to secure market in the
United States for both manufacturers and working people in the
United States. This schedule is fair and reasonable in order to
success this vital system, all manufacturers in the United States
must cooperate to carry out the central idea for mutual surviving
(manufacturers and workers).
PROGRAM 2
INVESTMENT FROM OTHER NATIONS IN OUR FREE TRADE NATIONS
We have to have strict rules in order to handle carefully
merchandise from abroad to our market for our benefit.
For
example, if Japan or some other nations invest funds in Mexico
built plant, produce products and attempt to consume them in the
United States. Then, a question arises on the products.

PROGRAM 4
SMALL, PRIVATE ENTERPRISES IN THE UNITED STATES.
All small, privately owned enterprises (occupying 70% of
work forces in the United States) must be secured by "free trade
operation policy" because these enterprises occupy high
percentage of consumers and production activities in the United
States. If these enterprises will be destroyed by Free Trade
Policy, critical problems will occur in the United States such as

United States due to create high unemployment rate. Therefore,

of these enterprises applied by either program one, two, three,
four, or both. (Worker in these small business would be
protected by the same principals as workers in large companies as

We very carefully and cautiously handle this problem in
order to secure employment and consuming power in the United
States. Therefore, we must extensively research this program in
detail by individual professional field staffs.

to contribute the security of economic strength for entire world

This pollution problem is namely directly related to the risk of
human life.
3. Waste products on or under the ground, or in the water is
directly related to contaminated water and air pollution.
4. Over-production will bring waste the natural resource which
limited quantity on the earth.
5. The most foolish thing due to over production will shorten
the human life as working extra time to waste energy under the
harmful environmental condition such as poisonous air and dust,
chemical reaction and radius to destroy biological human body
system. In short, over production of merchandise is directly
related to the risk of human life.
In deed, the Free Trade Policy throughout the world will
only can control over production and the Free Trade Policy will
only can secure the economy strength of world community. The
Free Trade Policy will be only possible on the earth, where the
incredible mission to bring the peace and freedom, deporting
communism from earth, has completed by the people of the United
States and Reagan and Bush administration for 12 years.

THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES
NOW DEMAND A SINCERE APOLOGY FROM
BILL CLINTON
Bill Clinton has brazenly criticized and accused the Reagan
and Bush administrations for the "Iran-Contra" affair.
Bill Clinton should understand the origins and direct causes
of the "Iran-Contra" affair. It seems that Bill Clinton is
unable to remember U.S. history of only a decade ago. Let us
remind him of the origins of the "Iran-Contra" affair. The
"Iran-Contra" affair originated from the "Iran Hostage Crisis".
Recent history clearly shows that Khomeini's powerful and
outrageous organization of international terrorists was shored up
and their infamous acts against American people encouraged by the
immature foreign policy of the Carter/Mondale administration and
their so called "Human Rights Policy." This naive and immature
foreign policy eventually destroyed the human rights of every
Iranian citizen and crushed the human dignity of the 53 American
hostages held illegally in Iran for 444 days.
1. The Carter/Mondale administration's naive human rights
policies encouraged and supported the growth of anti-American
forces in all free allied nations and in Iran in particular.
Those policies shored up Moslem anti-Americanism there and caused
the Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi to fall.
Khomeini's position has allowed him to successfully
establish powerful anti-American terrorist groups throughout the
world. Actually, the Carter/Mondale administration must be held
responsible for the bombing attacks in Lebanon as mentioned
above. Why? The Carter/Mondale administration and Tip
O'Neill's group of congressional members must be held responsible
for those attacks because:
1. Tip O'Neill's group of congressional members continually
opposed the Reagan administration's foreign policy decisions
concerning the Middle East causing us to lose our political and
defense bases there.
2. Tip O'Neill's group of congressional members forced our
peacekeeping marines to run like dogs from Lebanon by passing
their resolutions ordering retreat.
Because of these actions, the Moslem terrorists scoffed at
President Reagan's power as President of the United States and
believed that the Congress of the United States stood on their
side.
All anti-American terrorists in Lebanon are and were
unmistakably agents sent from Iran by Khomeini--the man supported

by Carter's "Human Rights Policy". These powerful anti-American
terrorists can not be controlled by us since our political base
in Iran was completely destroyed by Carter's naive "Human Rights
Policy". The Carter/Mondale administration's lack of leadership
on the international stage caused the loss of many American
interests abroad. During their term, the United States lost
extraterritorial military, political, and commercial bases
including the Panama Canal.
Furthermore, their attempt to withdraw U.S. ground troops from
South Korea was a great mistake since the Soviet Union continued
its attempts at building strong military bases in the western
hemisphere in Cuba and the Caribbean--just 90 miles from our
mainland. Maintaining a strong military defense base in South
Korea is vitally important to both our national security
interests and the mutual commitment that has been built between
the United States and South Korea by the blood of young Americans
and Koreans for over 34 years. Yet Carter was going to destroy
the base.
Let us now document the real consequences of the naive and
immature foreign policies of the Carter/Mondale administration.
As reported in the Los Angeles Times, before Shah Mohammed
Reza Pahlavi died in Cairo, he spoke with sincere concern about
the fact that Iran had fallen into a greatly wretched economic
and political situation because he had regrettably followed "a
policy of surrender". He said he did not use great military
force to put down the terrorist demonstrations that broke his
rule because the Carter/Mondale administration sent him private
signals ordering him not to militarily suppress the
demonstrations. In other words, the Carter/Mondale
administration supported the demonstrations which succeeded to
depose the Shah and let Khomeini back to Iran.
The shah also indicated that, "My biggest mistake was in
listening to the Americans about our internal problems".
Releasing the terrorists from jail only gave them the opportunity
they needed to lead their bands of criminals and arsonists
against the Iranian government. As a result of the
Carter/Mondale administration's mistaken policies, we lost a
strong ally.
Also, in 1979, when President Carter visited South Korea, he
gave to the South Korean government a list containing the names
of 93 political prisoners, i.e. terrorists, which were to be
released from jail. This list was compiled by Carter/Mondale
aides who knew nothing about the prisoners' crimes and nothing of
the true information concerning those prisoners. That action was
shameful for America and disastrous for South Korea in that if
the President did so it destroyed Korea's national unity by
confusing the people and encouraging them to defy the authority
of their government.
Therefore, the Carter/Mondale approach to foreign policy

encouraged anti-government riots in two free allied nations and
resulted in the fall of the government in Iran.
Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi was forced to accept the
Carter/Mondale "Human Rights Policy" and he was eventually
overthrown. On the other hand, Park's government in the Republic
of Korea desperately resisted the Carter/Mondale "Human Rights
Policy." They knew that to accept it would be to strike a most
dangerous blow against South Korea's internal security and that
acceptance of the policy would have completely destroyed the
peace, order and productivity of the Republic of Korea--just as
it had in Iran. In the end, Park's administration won the fight
against the naive and immature "Human Rights Policy" of the
Carter/Mondale administration and succeeded in building Korea's
incredible economic miracle.
As shown in the clear evidence mentioned above, the immature
foreign policy of the Carter/Mondale administration was and
inhumane trap for the governments of our free allied nations and
murderous policy for American citizens. As a result of the
Carter/Mondale administration's policy, the toll of human
suffering was very high--53 American citizens held hostage for
444 days, 241 American Marines killed in a terrorist bombing, and
numerous hostages taken in the Middle East which lead to the
"Iran-Contra" affair.
The occurrence of the "Iran-Contra" affair was directly
related to the rise of international terrorists caused by the
Carter/Mondale administration. As is human nature, when a person
is taken as a hostage, his or her friends, family and nation will
make every desperate effort to rescue them, at any the price.
Some might have risked their own lives. Bill Clinton attacked
these actions by stating that the rescue action was illegal.
Clinton criticize the rescue attempts even though members of his
political party had created the circumstances which lead to the
hostages to being taken and left for dead. Clinton does not
realize that terrorists are lawless people. Therefore, we must
use all means available to rescue the hostages from their captors
and correct the blunders of Carter and Mondale. Bill Clinton
must remember that Reagan and Bush worked hard to stop the
lawless actions of all terrorists. The Reagan and Bush
administration worked for over a decade to halt terrorists'
activities which began because of Carter's and Mondale's
mistakes.
As we recall, the bombing of terrorist bases located in
Libya was an indispensable action. All patriotic Americans
approved of this necessary action which occurred only after a
long period of patience and restraint. President Reagan was
determined not to be distracted from our main concerns by
irritants and fanatics. There had been many years of sacrifice
and self-discipline, and our will and patience had been tested.
In the end, there was no choice other than that taken because the
real danger of ongoing terrorist attacks constantly threatened
the security of both the United States and world.

The action was inevitable and the timing critical. The
heroic action lead to the decline of terrorist activities as
terrorists realized that their lawless actions would no longer go
without a just and powerful punishment by the United States. The
Reagan/Bush administration had paid a high price in their efforts
to straighten the blunders of the Carter/Mondale administration.
Above all, the rescue of the hostages was the most costly effort.
In conclusion, if Bill Clinton is a sincere and
conscientious man, then he must deeply repent with passionate
tears for all the victims created by the Carter and Mondale
administration and the Democratic Party. Furthermore, Bill
Clinton must sincerely apologize to all those who suffered under
the consequences caused by the Carter and Mondale administration.
Bill Clinton must express his gratitude to those who risked their
lives to rescue the victims of the murderous policies initiated
by the Carter and Mondale administration instead of blaming who
had rescued them. Because of his attitude, Bill Clinton's
personality is rightly subject to scrutiny and question. He
blames those who helped the victims created by Carter's blunders
and he intentionally blames the Republican Party in order to
secure votes for his own benefit.
Finally, the Democratic party must sincerely apologize to
all the victims who suffered because of Carter's blunders, and
must sincerely express their appreciation to those who rescued
the victims, using whatever methods available. As a member of
the Democratic Party, Bill Clinton must not blame the Reagan and
Bush administration, but appreciate their perseverence and
express his appreciation for the incredible work they did in
breaking the power of the terrorists.
Now, the people of the United States must recall the
inexcusable blunders of the Carter Administration because Clinton
is reminding them of the consequences of those mistakes.
Therefore, the people of the United States now duly demand that
Bill Clinton to apologize for his false information and
accusations which he delivered in order to collect votes for his
Presidential campaign.

Please forgive me for intruding on you. I understand
fully you have a few things on your mind.
But, I must talk to you via this letter.
I have been told, and do in part believe, that a mighty
effort will be underway this weekend to try to cut through the
GATT negotiations latticework, to resolve differences and come
to an accord.
I welcome the initiative. But I worry lest in the high
velocity movement to reach an accommodation in agriculture
where the French are obstinate, the French will demand
concessions from the USA in those very areas where the U.S.
film/TV/home video industry is most sensitively involved.
I don't have sufficient command of the language to
convey to you the High Importance to this industry of a fair and
equitable treatment in GATT. The alternative is to find itself on
the outside looking in, while the EC pursues its ultimate aim of
so restricting us that we will be forced, more and more, to
produce our films/TV programs in Europe. That means job loss
in this country.
Moreover, to you and to Carla I need not establish the
bona fides of the movie industry's massive and consistent
contribution to a Surplus Balance of Trade for our country. In
the Services sector and in TRIPs (Intellectual Property), we have
vital issues which can either shrink our future or illuminate it.

Intellectual Property comprises the protection of our visual
entertainment through the embrace of National Treatment and
the honoring of our contractual rights.
I have no idea what will be said and done at these
forthcoming meetings, but I pray that the issues which concern
us and torment us are resolved to the long term interests of one
of America's most prized trade assets. They have to be, else we
are in the soup.

Extremely disturbing reports have come to my attention from the
press and other sources which tend to indicate that White House
political operatives have directed this government's GATT (General
Agreement on Tariffs and Trade) negotiators to do whatever necessary
to bring home a GATT agreement prior to the Presidential election. The
GATT negotiations have been underway since 1986 and I would hope
that they are not on the verge of being compromised for political reasons
at this time.

would not bring home a bad agreement. I would hope that all the good
work the Administration has done to liberalize trade and to protect
United States agriculture would not be tossed out the window in the
heat of a Presidential campaign. I look forward to supporting a good
agreement but I must put the Administration on notice that I could just
as easily lead the opposition to an agreement that is not in the best
interests of American agriculture.
I have asked the Administration to continue to keep the Committee
fully informed on any developments in the negotiations. Political
considerations must not be allowed to keep us from a good agreement.

Dear Sir,
This afternoon I was informed by my supervisor that Westinghouse
Electric would be laying off 1200 people beginning November 1, 1992
which needless to say is disturbing news. This will be the third
lay-off in the last few years. I pray that I will not be one of
the "chosen".
Yesterday when I started this letter I felt with some confidence
that I ,because of my position on the B-1B program, was not at
jeopardy, however, in conversation with my boss today, I find that
because I'm the newest member of the group there is some
probability that I could be without a job. What a hell of a note
after 32 years of experience as a valued employee!
In recent correspondence to your office, I expressed concern over
the plight of unemployed engineers and professional employee's. I
suggested an SBA program to provide loans to qualified individuals
to start small businesses. Now, with some probability, that I
might join the unemployed, I encourage the President to propose
legislation for loans not just guaranteed loans. I suggest this
situation could be every bit as disastrous to those involved as
Hurricane Andrew was to the Florida peninsula. The situation
requires emergency funding to transition those so affected to new
opportunities.
I have developed a business plan to build affordable homes to
survive hurricane force winds. The need clearly exists for a
quality product to serve hurricane prone states. However, I do not
have the money to invest in this venture and if I were unemployed
the banks would not grant me a loan even if it were guaranteed by
the SBA. The banks require significant investment on the part of
the individual. Unemployed people do not have money for
entrepreneurial ventures. My situation illustrates the dilemma of
many qualified individuals.
The upcoming presidential debates provides a moment in history to
propose programs to promote entrepreneurial opportunities to
stimulate the economy. The SBA does not currently have programs
for the unemployed without significant investments on their part.
People with innovative ideas need money to develop their dreams.
I would encourage the President to propose such emergency
legislation.

The majority of Americans respect the President! Build on this
respect by proposing programs to utilize the valued resources of
this country, effectively, through investments to provide jobs for
all of us. Convince the public that George Bush is not a "clown"
but a concerned agressive leader who takes charge to provide
solutions not promises!
I honestly believe the President is imminently more qualified than
either of the other two "clowns". I find it hard to believe that
Americans will really vote for Mr. Perot, the wheeler dealer, or
that other fast talker from Arkansas, Mr. Clinton. I want
continuity in my life as do most Americans-I pray to God, and the
President, that I can have a job to enjoy that continuity!

Re: Clinton as a Liar
The public is not impressed with Clinton's draft dodging,
his anti-war antics or trips to Moscow.
The public does not like a liar and President Bush should
concentrate on his lies. For starters the famous Oslo trip
where he says that he merely met the militant reverend in
the railroad station for a couple of minutes and that was
his only contact with him. The militant reverend's book
cites many meetings with Clinton and Clinton has simply
lied about this situation. He lied on television for all
to hear.
We do not need a liar as president.

Dear James Baker III:
Please reference my previous correspondence of August 27,
1992, September 14, 18, 22, 24, 25, 30, 1992, October 6, 7,
and 8, 1992.
I believe after everyone, including the Bureau, has had
a chance to review the entire matter referenced in my correspond-
ence to you; these are the Basic Rights that were violated
against me because of my opposition and efforts to expose the
money laundering scheme supported by the Congress and enforced
by the intelligence community.
Amendment I: Prevented from speaking out about the violations
of our Constitution and suppressing the Press EO they would not
release my story. New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, National
Public Radio.
Amendment IV: Forced to sell our home, investigation of my
background and papers, conspiring to conduct physical harm
to me, which shall not be violated.
Amendment V: Kept under surveillance and restricted to Hill
International, Inc. without presentation of any evidence to
what I had done wrong.
Amendment VI: Never informed of the nature and cause of the
accusation or allowed to be confronted with witness against
me, which resulted in my involuntary retention at Hill
International, Inc.
Amendment IX: Reservation of Rights of the People.
Amendment XIII: Section I: Involuntarily kept at Hill
International, Inc. from January 1991 till the present.
Amendment XIV: Deprived me of life, liberty and property
without due process or equal protection of the Laws. Interference
with job opportunities and employment, and judicial protection.
When the appropriate individuals responsible for undermining our
Constitution are brought to Justice, request Article III,
Section 3 be carried out for conspiring to undermine our form of
government, providing aid and comfort to those involved. Two
