The President went running immediately upon arrival Friday.
On Saturday morning, the President ran on the horsetrail.
Following skeet shooting on Sunday, the President went running.
Wye Oak
The staff played walleyball on Saturday.
Bowling
Numerous picnic guests bowled on Friday. The staff bowled on
Saturday.
Skeet
The President and numerous picnic guests shot skeet on Friday
(150 rounds). Saturday, the President and the Farishs shot on two
separate occasions (100 rounds). Also the President and Mr. Will
Farish shot skeet Sunday morning (100 rounds).
Sand Volleyball
The staff played Saturday afternoon. Drink set-up
was
provided by Laurel.
Archery
Picnic guests, including Mrs. Quayle, used the archery range
on Friday.
Golf
The driving range was used Friday by Vice President Quayle and
numerous picnic guests.
Tennis
The staff played tennis on Saturday and Sunday.
Swimming
Mr. Farish swam in Aspen pool Friday. On Saturday, the
President and Mrs. Bush swam. The President also used the Aspen
sauna.
Horseshoes
The President and numerous picnic guests played many games of
horseshoes on Friday. On Saturday, the President and Mrs. Farish
played.

Chapel Service
Chaplain Weyand conducted Catholic service at 0730 in the
Hickory Library. Twelve crew members/staff attended. Chaplain
Clough conducted interdenominational service at 0900. President,
Mrs. Bush, guests, staff, crew members and dependents were in
attendence for a total of 53.
