This most recent edition of our Publications List features several
changes and a new look! We have added descriptions of our. Fact
Sheets, Consumer Product Guides, and Tech Packs to better inform
you about each publication.
Additionally, we offer new categories for Tech Sheets and journal articles.
The Tech Sheets were prepared by CUD staff in an effort to assist
builders and homeowners with technical construction or modification
issues. Journal articles are authored by CUD staff and include topics
on universal design, assistive technology and building modifications.
*For the first time, we are offering some titles free of charge. These
items will be marked as "free" in the descriptive area of the Publications
List. They include Tech Sheets, Fact Sheets, journal articles, Barriers to
Health Care and Universal Design in Housing. Because we offer these
items free of charge, please limit your request to one copy of each title.
Several new books have been added to this list, most notably The
Universal Design File: Designing for People of All Ages and Abilities
and the Proceedings from the first International Conference on
Universal Design. Other materials originally developed by Barrier Free
Environments, Inc. are offered here.
Finally, because of the heavy volume of publications we distribute, we
have instituted shipping and handling charges effective April 1, 1999.
Please refer to the attached order form for rates.
This issue of the Publications List supersèdes all other issues.
*Handling and postage fees will be incurred.
