Prime Minister: Well in all respects, and how are you? (U)
The President: All right. Has your trip gone well? (U)
Prime Minister: Yes. Before leaving to Israel, I just wanted to
thank you and Mrs. Bush in my name and Mrs. Rabin's for all your
hospitality and the results. It has been a landmark in the
relationship. You wouldn't believe my meetings here. All the
Jewish leaders are very impressed with what you have done. They
appreciate your efforts. I have just met with them to explain
what we have worked out. ($)
The President: How nice. Jim Baker spoke to me about scoring
and your concerns about the Hill. We are working with OMB. We
have to get OMB to certify it, but we will work it out. (8)
Prime Minister: I know you were unhappy with some of the
statements regarding the planes. We will not do anything

will not do very much about this. I have explained it to people
here. All of them understand. (S)
The President: You understand the importance of this issue on
the employment front. Thank you. Call me if there is any glitch
or anything we can do. Barbara is here with me, and we are
watching a movie with the grandchildren. (8)
