MEMORANDUM FOR BRENT SCOWCROFT
FROM:
WILLIAM W. WORKING
D.
SUBJECT:
Request for NSC Meeting -- NSR-29
The DCI has suggested March 25 as a proposed date for the NSC
meeting regarding NSR-29. It gives him the opportunity to get
NSC OK before he goes to the Hill in April.
Please note that the participants list only mentions the
statutory members and advisors. As you know, there are about
18 departments and agencies involved in NSR-29. We can add OMB
and Treasury, as is the case for most NSC meetings, but there
will undoubtedly be pressure from the 16 others to attend. We
can, of course make it any size you want. I recommend the
minimum.
RECOMMENDATION
That you sign the schedule proposal at Tab I.
