SUBJECT:
Poneman DC on Nuclear Reactor Safety in the FSU
Before I take off I wanted to recap my progress on the DC.
Dan Poneman called at about 1700 to say the meeting was to be
cancelled and that John Gordon was in the process of making a
telephone call to AF1 to discuss it with Adm Howe. Dan
instructed me to make the calls to the agencies to cancel the
meeting and tell them we would reschedule later.
All Agencies were contacted except for Treasury and ACDA, I
didn't get an answer after 1800, will you please let them
know of the sudden turn of events? OVP also needs a call,
Jackson will not be in town, but his office is keeping the
schedule up-to-date for him.
See you Tuesday! P.S. My # in Pburgh is (412) 364-1583
