corrected. If you will notice, there are several discrepancies
in the list that we turned in and the one that was printed.
We would really appreciate it if in the future they would send up
a copy for us to proof before it goes to print. It would save a
lot of knashing of teeth and hard feelings.

PRESIDENTIAL VIDEO: ADDRESS TO DOLE FOUNDATION EVENT
Good evening. Tomorrow is the first anniversary of the day
I signed the Americans with Disabilities Act. I'm proud to cele-
brate this anniversary with you because the Dole Foundation was
committed to the goals of this bill long before it became law.
As the only foundation dedicated solely to the employment of
people with disabilities, for the past eight years you have led
the private sector in raising the awareness of the business
community to the talents -- and the potential -- of this sadly
underutilized segment of the American workforce.
What a difference you have made. You have touched the lives
of individuals and awakened the conscience of a nation. This is
the spirit I have in mind when I talk about points of light.
Tonight I'm pleased to salute your corporate, foundation and
individual donors. Your support over the years has enabled the
Foundation to give over $3.3 million in grants. And we salute the
creation of the Funding Partnership for People with Disabilities.
And tonight I'm particularly pleased to honor a good man, a
good friend, who inspires personally and professionally. Bob
Dole once said about his accident: "Doors have been closed, but
windows opened." Bob: you have opened windows of opportunity for
every American regardless of disability. You have set a challenge
to your nation: to provide equal opportunity for all. Thank you.
And congratulations to all of you Dole Foundation supporters
-- thank you for your vision and commitment. God bless you all.
