IGA PUBLICATIONS
Pursuant to your November 20, 1991 memo, I have checked my files
and note that City and State, Governing, and American City and
County were ordered - see attached.
If my memory serves me right, I believe someone in IGA has called
one or both of these publishers. I understand there desire to be
helpful, but rather than resolving problems, it creates them. We
are checking again with the publishers to be sure these
publications are in order.
We have initiated a subscription to American City and County.
Since it generally takes 6-8 weeks for a new order, I think the
December issue will probably be the first issue received.
Just for your information, publications are ordered in the
department name, not an individual's. This has proven to be
beneficial. When a staffer leaves, the periodical continues to
come to the office. It is a practice that we will continue.

SUBSCRIPTION TO "GOVERNING" MAGAZINE
- WFREETAO2
Attached is a form subscription notice that I have pulled from a
16/5/8
copy of "Governing" magazine. Either our subscription expired or
someone is "borrowing" our copy along the way, because we haven't
received an issue for the last two months. I've checked into the
latter theory but with no results. Thus, I would respectfully ask
that our subscription be renewed (I will change the addressee
when our new Special is named).
Thank you for your assistance. Please call me at x6597 if you
