Dear Helen,
This letter is to confirm our conversation this week. Our
club and other Third District Republican Women would like to
come to Washington for a White House briefing on one of the
following dates: March 12, 13, 14, 26, or 27, 1991. We need
to know if any of these dates are available as soon as possible
so we can advertise the date to other clubs and reserve mostinters a bus
These are the issues that we are interested in having
discussed by speakers: Education, Adult Literacy, The new
Soviet Union, Our role in the Middle East, and the War on Drugs
and Crime. I realize that you might have to substitute other
topics because of the availabiltity of speakers. We plan to have
between 40 to 45 women.
