Dear Bobbie:
On Friday October 11, 1991 the National Federation of Republican Women will
sponsor a Women Candidate Seminar prior to its 26th biennial convention. The
seminar will be held from 8:30 - 5:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
As a key member of the Bush administration and a former candidate for public
office, we would be honored if you would agree to be our luncheon speaker at 12:00
p.m. I know the women attending the seminar will be eager to hear your views on
issues effecting women candidates in the '92 elections as well as some of your own
campaign "war stories."
I realize that Cincinnati is a long way from Washington, and I would be pleased
if you would be my guest for our opening ceremonies Friday night. It promises to be
an exciting event. We anticipate a convention attendance of 2,500, with 200 women
candidates, campaign managers and volunteers attending the candidate seminar.
Should you have any questions regarding your participation in the seminar,
please do not hesitate to contact my convention assistant Allison Reid at 202-547-9341.
I look forward to your favorable reply.
Sincerely,
Huda
