Office of Public Liaison
The White House
Room 128
Washington, DC 20005
Dear Bobbie:
It was so nice to talk with Helen last week and we are delighted
that you have consented to be one of the speakers for our VFRW
Convention Seminar on Friday, April 26, 1991. The theme of our
convention is, "Republican Women Making It Happen", and we
expect to have about 400 members from throughout the commonwealth
in attendence. They are most anxious to have you speak to them.
As you know, the convention will be held at the Omni
International Hotel in Norfolk. The topic that we would like for
you to speak on is, "Reaching Your Political Potential".
Approximately forty five minutes has been allotted for your
presentation on Friday at 2:15 pm.
We would be pleased to have you attend other functions of our
convention if you so desire. Nancy Sununu will be our guest
speaker for our Friday luncheon. In the afternoon we will have
our leadership seminar. That evening Major General Jerry Curry,
USA (Ret.), will be our guest speaker as the VFRW honors
America's Armed Forces. I would appreciate knowing, at your
earliest convenience, if you would like to attend any of the
other functions and of your planned arrival time. We will be
contacting you nearer to the convention date to advise you of
your escort,
If I can provide any further information please do not hesitate
to contact me at (804) 249-2558.
Sincerely,
Jane
