THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
May 30, 1990
Your Royal Highness:
Thank you for your letter and thoughtful
position paper of April 22. In it you have
detailed with great clarity and eloquence
your ideas about how to peacefully resolve
the Arab-Israeli conflict.
I share your hopes that a peaceful
resolution can be achieved and that all in
the region will soon live in peace and
security with their neighbors. Unfortunate
recent events have proven that all need to
rededicate themselves to the peace process.
May I assure you that President Bush and his
Administration are fully committed to
assisting the parties in the Middle East
toward attainment of a just and durable
peace.
Sincerely,
John H. Sununu
