Cornerstone Laying, New Wing, Cape Cod Hospital,
Tuesday, November 30, 1976
Congratulations to all of you who support this
fine community hospital.
You have worked hard to provide medical care for
the Cape Cod area, / and you have been innovative / in
coping with the special difficulties of a population
that changes size in the summers. Your efforts to
provide excellent care at a reasonable cost have
been especially important as an example to other
community hospitals.
I admire the teamwork of private citizens working
with the medical staff to keep this hospital responsive
to the medical needs of this community.
This is a very proud day for Cape Cod, and I
admire your dedication and concern for others in working
to expand this facility. It's always inspiring to see
people working to help themselves / and their neighbors.
