Cheney Files at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library X January 27, 1975 STRAIGHT WIRE Mrs. John C. Klucaynski 4276 Archer Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60632 The sad news of John's death has just reached us and our hearts go out to you. I have many memories of our years together in the House of Representatives. John Kluczynski was a loyal American who served our Nation and the people of Illinois with dedication and distinction. Although we sat on different sides of the aisle, I was proud to call him my friend. While words can have little meaning in the face of your great loss, we hope that happy memories of your life together will lighten your burden of sorrow. Betty and I send our heartfelt sympathy and our prayers during this difficult time. GERALD R.
