July 30, 1976 Sunshine Bill MEMORANDUM FOR: PHIL BUCHEN IM CANNON MAX FRIEDERSDORF PAUL O'NEILL FORD is LIBRARY CERALD FROM: Recalling the senior staff meeting on and the JACK July discussion of the Sunshine Bill, what IS the current status of this legislation? It is my recollection at the staff meeting the consensus was there should be no position taken by the Administration on the Conference Report. Is this still the best course of action, or is there some other recommendation as to how to proceed? Many thanks. cc: Dick Cheney
