SUBJECT:
Sunshine Bill
Senator Bill Roth (R-DEL), a co-sponsor of the Government
in Sunshine bill has requested a signing ceremony.
We were not particularly desirous of the legislation,
but in the event the President decides to approve the
bill, I recommend we invite Senator Roth for the
signing.

FROM:
Recalling the senior staff meeting on and the
JACK July
discussion of the Sunshine Bill, what IS the current status of
this legislation?
It is my recollection at the staff meeting the consensus was there
should be no position taken by the Administration on the Conference
Report. Is this still the best course of action, or is there some
other recommendation as to how to proceed?
Many thanks.
