Dear Congressman Ford:
Just statement
May I have the pleasure of sending you some information, on what I
consider a very important subject, which I have been interested in since
1952, and I believe you are interested in this also. I'm referring to the
subject of 11 LFO's also called, "Flying Saucers," which I believe are in
reality, spacecraft from other planets, of our Solar System and from othe
solar systems as well.
It has been nearly 19 years since Kenneth Arnold, on June 24, 1947,
a specially designed airplane, flew from Chehalis, Washington to Yakima,
Washington. In the vicinity of Mount Rainier, he observed a flight of
strange craft. He said, there were nine in number and their echelon for-
mation was backward from that practiced by our Air Force. Later that day
Mr. Arnold flew on to Pendleton, Oregon. In his discription to newsmen
there, he said, they flew like a saucer would, if you skipped it across
water. To my knowledge this how and where the name originated. The
newsmen dubbed them, Flying Saucers.

At this point in this report, as I shall call it, I would like to SQ
a few words about a story in the enclosed magazine. The magazine is called
the "UFO International, published about every six months, by Gabriel Green,
of "Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs of America, Inc., 2004 N. Hoover St. I
Los Angeles, California. 90027. The reason I'm sending the back issue $ 18,
June 1963, is on account of "The Bob Renaud Story," by Robert P. Renaud,
which was printed for the first time, in this issue, on page 3, and I think
you would like to have the beginning of the story. The radio contact took
place back in July, 1961, when Mr. Renaud with his electronic set-up and
short-wave radio equipment, was contacted by people in & spaceship many miles
above our Earth. They told Bob they came from a planet called Korendor, in
another Solar System, 400 light years distant. Mr. Renaud has been contacted
many times since, up to the present. This story continues in issue / 19,
#20, #21, #22, with the exception of the current issue #23, it will continue
in the # 24 issue. I have some of these magazines with the above story,
Will mail them to you at intervals, in the near future.
In 1965 I asked Mr. Green two questions about Bob Renauds work. The
questions and the answers he gave are below.
Question, # 1 : Is the U. S. Government aware of the fact that Bob Renaud
has been contacted by the Space People?

Answer: Yes, a Korendian (from the planet Korendor) teleported into a meet-
ing of high ranking officers in the Pentagon and they knew about our work
at that time.
Question, # 2 : I thought it was aganist FCC regulations to contact some-
one unlicensed, such 8.8 the Space People?
Answer; The regulations do not cover listening only transmitting. Bob's
transmitter is within the legal regulations, of power limits covering
broadcasts without a license.

Teleportation: (quote)
In the teleportation method of transportation, the craft and everything
on it are converted into pure energy, which is reconverted into its original
form at the desired point an almost immeasurable instant later. The control
18 very delicate, and it is very difficult to exactly place the craft when
working from a mobile control. Due to a very alight error, several carriers
have been reconverted quite close to the surface of your planet. To avoid
this, the reconversion point is now a considerable distance from your planet,
and the carrier then comes in to the desired altitude by what you would term
" normal space flight. TE (end of quote) (Bodily teleportation will be
explained in magazine # 19- page 4.
Operation of the spacecraft: (quote)
Electro-magnetic Drive, operates by cutting the natural magnetic
lines of force produced by a planetary body, and can be used only relatively
near the surface of some planet. When used at low altitudes, it has the
effect of blanking out radio apparatus, and causing variations in
magnetic compasses and other magnetic apparatus in the vicinity.

# Primary Drive," is 8. true space drive, and, although it can be used
near a planet, 1t is ordinarly used only when it 18 desired to travel at
very high rate of speed for & long distance. Control mechanism on the craft
is placed in synchronous frequency with the universal energy flows which
exist in all space, but just slightly out of phase with them. (end of quote).
The Space People have mentioned several methods in which they power their
spacecraft. In some cases they mannfacture, the current or energy, withi
the machinery of the craft. They also have an unlimited supply of Solar Anerg
, a fuel supply that never runs dry, they say. ( The last sentence was & quote
from a "Space Tape" I have.) In traveling in the magnetic field of a planet,
they often use different methods of propulsion, than on interplanetary travel.
You no doubt are aware of the large number of UFO sightings, that have
been reported over all parts of the United States and many nations of the
Earth, during the past 20 years up to the present time. There were reports
of seeing them on radar, traveling thousands of miles per hour. I would
estimate that thousands of people have seen these spacecraft, in the atmos-
phere of our planet, making right and left angle turns, sudden stops and
hovering in the air. I'm fully aware that in some cases, there has been some
disagreement and inconsistency, in the sightings and reports. Also
contradictions and mistaken identy. I think this can be expected, with such
a vast subject.
Since 1952 I have read about 25 books that have been published since
then on this subject. Most of the books published before 1947 give little
information on Flying Saucers. In the past 14 years I have used hundreds
of hours of time studying this subject and several hundred dollars on books,
magazines, photographs, a tape recorder and about 20 taped messages, ( As
to the Tapes this is another story, I believe the greatest of them all.
If you wish, I can give you some information on the tapes at a later date.

In regard to photographs, I have some prints that are from the original
film, of the photographs taken by the late George Adamski, Many are in his
books and other books as well. I also have prints of the photographs Mr.
Paul A. Villa; Albuquerque, New Mexico, took of the spacecrafts. A series of
seven photos were taken in June 1963, near Albuquerque and eight more in April
1965. They are printed in magazines # 20 and # 23, UFO International.

At this point would like to mention the language and alliance or to
Space People.
#-1: The Space People have 8 Universal Language," it is called the
" Solax Mal," in their language.

national) They also have what they call 8, "Universal Alliance,' also called,
11 Universal Confederation. The present Alliance consists of well over 5000
planets all over the galaxy, and several hundred more in other galaxies. ( A
full explanation of the "Alliance" and also the, "Guardian Patrol, of the
Alliance, is given in magazine # 21.
In regard to the Contact Stories.
The contacts reported to have taken place during the past fifteen years,
were between individuals on Earth and the Space People. The contacts were in
person, by short-wave radio or other means. Many were published in book form.

Would like to include some information about one of the first and best
known, in person, contacts, in case you are not acquainted with the story.

This took place November 20, 1952, in the vicinity of the desert town of Blythe
California. When George Adamski (now deceased) met and talked for about are
hour with a being, who said he was from the planet we call Venus. ( Mr Agangki
at the age of 74, died from pneumonia April 1965, in & Washington, D.C. hospita
while on & lecture tour in the Eastern part of the United States. ) There were
six other people who drove out to the desert, with Mr. Adamski that day and
they witnessed the event. They were. (1) Alfred C. Bailey, of Winslow, AriZone
conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad and (2) Mrs. Betty Bailey. (3) George X.
Williamson, Sc. D. Prescott, Arizona- Anthropologist. (4) Mrs. Betty J.
iamson, B.S.-A.B. Chemist and Anthropologist. (5) Mrs. Lucy McGinnis, secret ry
to Mr. Adamski. (6) Mrs. Alice K. Wells, owner of several acres, called Palcgar
Gardens and operator of cafe there. (7) Mr. Adamski, philosopher, teacher, amate
astronomer and photographer; had his home on Palomar Gardens about eleven mile PHOTO
below the big Hale Observatory on Mount Palomar.
Before I continue with this contact story, would like to mention a few
important events, that took place in the years before 1952.
During the meteoric shower of October 9,1946, people were told to watch
the heavens. Adamski and others at his home were watching that evening. When
the meteoric shower was about over and they were about to go indoors, they
noticed high above the mountain ridge in the vicinity of San Diego, & large
black object, similar to 8 gigantic dirigible, 1t appeared to be hovering there
While they were still watching, it pointed its nose upward and quickly shot un
into space, leaving a fiery trail behind it which remained visible for several
minutes: They figured it was some new type of aircraft that had been developed
by the United States during the war. Still thinking nothing of it, they return
ed to the house and turned on the radio toanewscast on a San Diego station.
They were surprised as they listened to the announcer say that a large cigar-
shaped spaceship had hovered over San Digo during the shower and that hundress
of people had seen and reported it. The description tallied with what they
had seen.
Adamski for the greater part of his life had believed that other planets
are inhabited. Although in 1946 he did not believe inter-planetary travel in
man-made ships was possible, thinking the distance too great between planets
to travel by mechanical means.
Mr. Adamski was in the cafe a few weeks later. There he met a group of
people from San Diego who were telling him of the spaceship they had seen

Dear Mrs. Clark:
Thank you for your letter in support of my proposal for a Cong-
ressional investigation of unidentified flying objects. My
main concern has been that an impartial investigation be made
of the unexplained sightings and that the facts revealed by
this inquiry be made fully available to the public. While I
had felt that a Congressional investigation would best serve

this purpose, the House Committee on Armed Services has decided
to let a contract after July 1 to a university to allow it to
make a full study into the matter. I am assured by the Air Force
that the investigation will be fair and thorough.
Iam also told that the report resulting from the university
inquiry will be made fully available to the public. At present
I do not have any further details as to how the university will
select those responsible for making the investigation. While
I had called for a Congressional investigation, Ifeel that this
inquiry will be a good first step.

"Defence Secretary Robert S. McNamaru has gono on record to cate-

The Securetary expressed his views on the current vive of flying
saucër reports March 30 during a closed hearing of the House
Foreign Affairs Committee. A transcript of the session was made
available Saturday
Rep. Cornelius Gallagher: "IS there anything at sll to any of thi

MaNamara; "I think not. I have talked to the secretary of the
AIR Force and the director of research end ongineering and noiths

The Airforce issued a statement that "they are convinced that USOS
are no threat to our national security."
At first glance this statement would 3062 to say that there are no
usos. Actually what the Airforce is here saying is that they are
not hostile.
If there is no "real evidence" of there existence, then why, ton days
later, does the Airforce state that they are not hostile?
Major Donald Keyhos of NIGAF, on his last appearance on the TODAY
show, also indicated that UFOs 178,1°C of benign origin,
