A periodic BULLETIN of the latest U.F.O. sightings within 45 days
Listings are coded (D) day (N) nite
N
Wenatchee, Wash. 5-8-7 Reported to Chelan County Sheriff's office by Bill
Metcalf of East Wenatchee, non-detailed sighting was made about midnite. The
U.F.O. per Mr. Metcalf appeared as a tremendous ball of fire that was first
orange in color then changed to silent, and on a non-deviateing course,
sped across clear open sky above Omhe Gardens, near Wenatchee. The object did
not hover nor changed altitude but merely appeared briefly then disappeared.
N
Milton-Freewater, Oreg. 5-I3-7 Several U.F.O.'s were reported darting and hover-
ing over the Umapine area near Milton-Freewater by Mrs. June Priggee, Joe Roberge
Mrs.Leon Amon ,Art Snow and Mrs Jim Holady all of Milton-Freewater. ightings have
also been reported over College Place and Walla Walla, Wash. Non of the reports
could give any detail other than darting and blinking lights as the objects were
too distant and the sightings too brief.
N
Florence, Oreg. 4-27-7 Reported by on duty Coast Guardsmon EN3 James Peter and
SM Robert Harrington and oval shaped U.F.O. was watched several minutes as it
hovered one mile off-shore and directly above a bouy several yards. Both observer
's stated the object pulsated with a Ruby glow on the upper portion and a gold-
en glow was emitted from the bottom half. The object was a "lot bigger" than the
bouy per the witnesses and remained stationary for about I5 minutes before dis-
appearing to the Northwest at extrome speed and a horizontal flight course. The
U.F.O. was also seen by Dick Johnson officer in charge, though his sighting was
but for about three minutes prior to the U.F.O.'s departure. Other than general
size, shape, color, and flight pattern no additional outstanding features were seen.
D
Auburn, Wash. 4-12-7 Additional details recently received on the Valley Drive
sighting reported in the last BULLETIN involved the dropping of lighted objects
from the U.F.O. as it hovered near the screen of the drive-in theater. The objects
were described as a tube shaped item a third the length of the width of the ball
-shaped U.F.O.The first object was dropped as the U.F.O. hovered several hundered
feet above and to the left of the screen and as it dropped, remained lighted
allowing two vertical "rods" to be seen, one on each end. As the tube shaped item
dropped the light went out and the item disappeared. The second tube shaped item
was dropped as the U.F.O. hovered again this time after it had moved still furth-
er to the left of the screen and stiil higher. This item also remained lighted as
it dropped and also had the two vertical "rods" on the ends.A search of the area
where the "tubes" appeared to drop reveilled no evidence. After dropping the
"tubos" the U.F.O. "disappeared" to the Northoast at tremendous speed. The enire
episode was witnessed by several hundred patrons at the theater but todate no
evidence of the "Tubes" has been located. Though silent as of now,a provocative
thought occurs -- could these "tube" shaped dropped items be a form of "sensor"
or remote controlled telemetering device? Could these items be connected with
the "Beep-Beep" sound and timed to be activated at a future date? Until they
are located, if ever, we will not know;but it is a roasonable possibility.
D
4-8-7 Hoquiam, Wash. A ball-shaped U.F.O. about 50 feet in diameter and without
the usual array of lights was sighted cruising slowly at about I,000 feet alti-
tude just above the Eagles Bldg. The Witnesses Robert Smiley and Patrolman
Melvin Bartlett watched the U.F.O. at about 6:30 A.M. while making their rounds
on duty. The object made no unusual changes in course emitted no sound and simply
moved over the area and disappeared. Weather balloons are large, most at least 50
feet in diameter PPIOT at ground FROM level GERALD are FORDT not round (BRARY in shape but are instead
elongated and carry instrument packages. The object appears not to be a balloon,
aircraft nor man-made airborne device.
N
4-23-7 South Hill, Va. Described as looking like a metal storage tank about I2
feet in diameter, the color of aluminum and resting on legs about three and a half
feet long a U.F.O. at"touch-down level blocked the road in front of the car driv-
en by C.N. Crowder, manager of the Mobil Chemical Co. warehouse at South Hill.As
Crowder approached the object he switched his lights to "high-beam" and as he did
so the object took off in a burst of intense white light that was emitted from
the bottom end. The object ascended ina vertical flight and disappeared in seconds.
The burst of light or "white fire" emitted by the U.F.O. was hot enough to set
the road surface on fire. When the fire subsided Crowder reported the incident to
South Hill police and returned to the scene with two policemen to study the spot
of burned surface. Support gear impressions of four holes in the road surface
slightly over I6 feet apart and in a square form directly over the burned area
indicate the object was of considerable weight. The holes were each about three-
fourth of an inch deep and each hole about a half inch wido. The object between
I6 and I8 feot long had no visable ports or super-structur other than the support
gear. To prosume it to be a "sccret weapon" or illusion is sheer wishful thinking,
if it was "secret" it would not be on public "display" if it was an illusion it
would not have left a burned area and four holes in the macadam surface. In addit-
ion to the "touch-down" incident, several citizons as well as police officers of
South Hill had made reports of "strange lights" in the South Hill area that same
evening. Some of the reports listed "tree-top lovel' ghtings and some listed more
than a single object sighted. Up to three objects closely spaced and with red
lights was numbered in one sighting. Others reported a single object that divided
into two parts, disappeared, re-appeared and rejoined itsolf and disappeared again.
The South Hill episode may well become an important link in the ever growing
chain of material evidence supporting the actuality of U.F.O.'s.
N
3-27-7 Wanaque J. This unique area, noted for the numerous sightings of U.F.O.'s
has again listed another police report of a current sighting. Reported by Sgt.
Benjamin Thompson of the reservoir police dotail Called by the Pompton Lakes
Police to check a "strange light"in near by Westbrook Road, Thompson observed a
circular object of intense red light surronded by an equally intense white light.
The object bobbed up and down and against the wall of the dam to the reservoir
for almost fifteen minutes before disappearing. Size was not given in the report
but the object made no sound. After the erratic movements against the dom the
object ascended and disappeared into the sky "in a flash". The shape was round and
no unusual features of structure wore noted.
N
3-24-8 Great Falls, Mont. Rosponding to a call to the police dept. Officers Frank
Takala, Glenn Osboren and Jerry Obresley drove to a near by roller rink and joined
several patrons in observering a U.F.O. The object per Takala was yellow in color
and seemed to emit a red glow from the top and bottm portions. It remained motion-
less at about I,000 feet altitude and was about six times the brightness of the
largest star that would be visable on a clear night. The object seen by the law-
mon was against a thick cloud layer that obscured the entire sky; the object was
the only light. The sighting lasted about fifteen minutes during which the object
continued to remain motionless and hold its position in the sky. It was not air-
craft nor reflected light from a balloon as the cloud layer and low level would
provent incident light reflection. The sighting was about 9:00 P.M. ;to have been
a balloon reflecting light the objec would have had to be a great deal higher to
catch the rays of the sun which had long before set and the sky would have had to
be clear. Structure was not noted and the object is classed as a definite unknown.
N
4-4-7 Storm Lake, Iown Reported by Paul Beauchomin 6I2-W. 5th St, Storm Lake and
Charles Sessions also of Storm Lake A bright light "brighter than any star" per
Mr. Beauchemin was watched as it sped past the transmission tower of KAYL radio
station Storm Lake. The object was too bright to ostimate the distance from the
observersbut as stated by Beauchemin, the object flew faster. than an airplane,
stopped, hovered, blinked several timos, was whiteish in color and altered course
after passing the tower continuing on over Storm Lake. It was vivable only a few
seconds and passed beyond visual range toward the north
N
3-6-7 Pierre S. Dakata A late report detailing another case of a car being buzz-
ed and followed by a U.F.O. was made by the Russel Carter family of Pierre. First
noticed as a very bright light low on the horizon, the U.F.O. "closed in" on the
car and was as low as the telephone wires. The object was "V" shaped and at least
the size of the car and as it approached the family the entire road and area
around the car was lite up enough that car lights were not necessary. The object
emitted a humming noise and while it was close to the car the occupants noticed
a feeling of "numbness". The object did not "hover" but merely "buzzed" the car
then described an erratic course ahead and above the Carters and spod out of
sight in just soconds.

4-I9-7 Eldrado, Ohio The results of interviews conducted by Preble County
Sheriffs Marvin Mowen, Don Fosdick, and Charles Abston with eleven residents
of this community revealed the U.F.O. sighted at 9:20 P.M. the previous night
was a silver colored disc that emitted E. high ptched hum much louder than a jet,
was about 500 feet above ground and trave' 191 in a level straight course flight.
The U.F.O. was also observed to have two "prongs" on the underside and what
looked like windows or ports around the outer edge.As the U.F.O. passed over the
community, dogs barked and howled and stopped as soon as the object disappeared.
The "prongs" on this U.F.O. are apparently the same as those shown on the U.F.O.
sighted on Mt. Shasta. The drawing and account of that sighting by Patrol Officer
Brown of Mt. Shasta was covered in last month's BULLETIN.
N
4-20-7 Port Clinton, Ohio Reported by Mrs. Sharon Woessner of Clinton and watched
by several neighbors including two boys with a telescope a U.F.O. orange in color
and ball shaped shot straight up in the air from near ground level from where
it was first noticed. As the object sped upward it emitted two star like items.
One of the two items fell or dropped back to the ground;it was not found, the
second item shot upward ahead of the U.F.O. and disappeared, The U.F.O. itself re
-mained visable from 8:00P.M. to about midnite and retained its elevated posit-
ion in the sky with no change nor movement. The stationary position in the sky
of the U.F.O. eliminates the possibility of the object being a star or balloon
as these objects would have moved across the sky in the approximate 3 hours of
the sighting. The altitude prevented closer notice of detail.
N
4-18-7 Meigs, Ohio Sheriff Robert C. Hartenbach of Meigs reports sighting a
U.F.O. about 500 feet off the ground and shaped like a large diamond. The object
wavered up and down as it briefly hovered and emitted red and blue light as it
moved beyond vision. While the object "hovered" the light emitted was yellow and
constant and under that light color two "feeder-type" appendages could be seen
protruding off the main body. The object was also seen by residents of Meigs from
different parts of the community and the reports made by those people coordinat-
ed with the report of Sheriff Hartenbach.
N
4-I9-7 Point Pleasant, Ohio Additional sightings of U.F.O.'s ahve been received
at the Point Pleasant Police Dept. This particular community has had what seems
to be dozens of sightings in the last several weeks Latest reports state cars
being "buzzed" low level flight pattern--low enough that witnesses could discern
ports or windows on the outer edge of the circular object or objects and were
silent. When they moved they would either dart or cruise and performed erratic
non-radius turns. In one report a "pair" of U.F.O. 's skimmed the tree tops as they
passed directly over the community. No aircraft nor other airborne devices were
in the air during the sightings and their acrobatics make impossible the lights
being reflections. As many as six sightings were made in one evening between 7
and 9 P.M. The continueing appearance of these objects in this one area is most
unusual ;no satisfactory explanation other than U.F.O.'s has as yet been accepted.
N
4-9-7 Reading,Pa. Trooper Paul Foster, State Patrol reported sighting A U.F.O. as
he was cruising on duty. Sighted at 8:50 P.M. while on Route743 Foster described
the object traveling too slow to be an aircraft and blinking red and white lights
as it flew a straight level southeasterly course, The object out-distanced the
trooper before he was able to get close enough for a detailed observation.A sec-
ond report of the same or a similar U.F.O. was made at about the same time from
the Mt. Zion area, the direction the U.F.O. was moving when Trooper Foster made
his sighting.
N
4-6-7 Burlington-Hawkeye, Iowa
Still more reports of U.F.O. 's in the South-east
Iowa area are being made. Two young ladies reported seeing a large silver colored
ball moving slowly over the Burlington area;a second report stated seeing a gold
and purple colored object with red lights and three black dots on the underside.
A third report described an object as fiery red with eight flaring points about
3 feet long flying in the direction of Peoria from Burlington. The object did
not hover. In all the reports no sound was noticed and the objects were close
enough for some detail to be seen and would by logic if aircraft would have been
heard. The "fraring points" of the third object are similar to the object seen
Omak, Wash. a few weeks ago.
The recent mystery of the "Beeping" sound near Sedro-Wooly, Wash. has as yet not
been solved. Many explanations have been put forth including the sound of a lonely
baby owl. This answer seems very unlikey as a baby owl would have grown up in the
more than thiry not seven days as reported the "beeping" has been heard. An exa-
ot duplicate "Beeping" has been heard in the Buooda area noar Centrailia. This
sound was reported as also being heard on the police band of the patrol car in-
vestigating the PRIOTOCODY AiD they could pick up the "Beep"
on transistor radios. Do you know of anyone that has sold an owl some battories
and High-frequoncy transmitting equipement?
The following statements are made as a result of screening hundreds of
current reports as made by people in all walks of life and education.
The statements are the results of a sampling of the reports and rep-
resent only one man's opinion. You may draw your own conclusion of the
subject matter of U.F.O. the following are mine.
U.F.O.'s are real.
They are not "unknowns" as such but are instead E.T.V. --Extra-Terrsetial
Vehicles.
They are designed, constructed and manipulated by an intelligence as we conceive
the moaning of the word and may be occupied vehicles and or remote or auto-
matically controlled probes or monitors.
They are not in any way connected with our nor any other World nation's military.
They are not spiritually nor thoologically a part of our world or our inter-
pretation of "soul".
There place of origin, their motive for being here and their propulsive force
are unknown.
They are not "new" to the world, not a fad,nor a psychological oscape. The
sightings of solid objects spontaneously by logical witnessos is not the result
of deliberate self-deception nor hysteria.
They exist as solid objects of material that appears to be capeable of alterat-
ion of form and substance at will and by laws of physics advanced and more
spohisticated than our own.
Their duplication would be possible by man if the physics and mochanics of the
devices were known and understood.
A pattern of their activity seems to emerge as based on the hundreds of current
reports. The low-level sightings, the increased number of sightings, the ever in-
creasing approach to witnesses indicates a motive of "conditioning" for eventu-
al actual contact.
The vehicles are "light sensitive" and appear to deliberately avoid contact with
artificial light sources.
They demonstrate a basic feature of intelligence in the form of curosity.
There roaction to man's attempt to understand them is more condoscending than
concerning; they exhibit no concern in selection of place, time or conditions to
make their presence known.
They show advancement of their own workings in the form of altered dosign of
the vohicles.
The presence of the vehicles often cause reaction to magnetically sensitive
instruments and electrical circurity, and have been known to cause physical re-
action on human nervous systems in the form of "numbness". They have also been
peported to cause nervous disturbance to wild and domestic animals.
They are considered more abstract than actual yet make positive images on man
made photograhic film.
They demonstrate intelligence in flight often using geometrical design for their
formations.
Their colors range the full visible human spoctrum and the emission of longer
and shortor wave frequency is indicated on dovices sensitive to these emissions.
The presence appears to be purposeful and persistant and their numbers seem to
be increasing. They have been known to apparently deliberately call attention
to thomselves by "near contact" and yot remain evuisive to attemps by man to ex-
change communication.
The acceptance of U.F.O.'s as actual, would not necessarily disrupt amn's concept
of life but his snese of direction and purpose of being could be altered from
present objectives.
BERNIER
PHOTOGRAPHIC SUGGESTIONS:
Use reliable equipement. I6 M M magazine load movie camera is excellent. Tele-
photo lens if available. Use color for daytime and Tri-X black and white for
night. Use camera settings for existing conditions as you would for normal pict-
ure taking. If available a 35 MM candid camora loaded with infra-red film.Use
a wide-open lens setting and "time" if possible, tripod mounted. Include any
statiomary object possible in foreground or background to afford "range" points.
BE CONSERVATIVE ---observe the object closely before taking the picture. Polor-
oid cameras are excellent but movie cameras offer loss chance of question and
far more potential of technical data. Be sonsible,a tiny moving point on a film
has little value, try --and hope to be lucky to get a reasonable "close-up" 11
The largest number of sightings are made in clear weather--more people are
outside and see more but sightings are also made in cloudy and overcast weather.
Most sightings are made at night due to the movement of the lighted object
against a dark background and the object is more obvious. Daytime sightings are
frequently more detailed and the pictures more easily analyized.A U.F.O. sight-
ing can come at any time or place, try to have photographic oquipement within
reach all times possible.

U.F.O.
--or WHAT'S UP --Fly-boys ????
An open letter to closed mouths ---,
"There ain't no such animal", that would have been the expression of the times;
the year I896-7, the year a "mysterious airship" was reported sighted from
dozens of parts of the United States. Seen cruising at a slow speed and in a
casual manner the "Airship" rated newspaper accounts from San Francisco to
New York. No, U.F.O. Is are not new,nor are they an exclusive of this generation.
Records as early as I860 in this country and as early as I877 in England gave
credence to the opnion that "something was going on UP THERE! From February
1904 through I933 at least oloven sightings by reputeable witnesses have been
recorded. Some of these some witnesses are still living today and despite our
present day psychological "brain washing" and conditioning by the image makers,
have not and do not intend to change their opnions of what they saw.
Really now, what is going on UP THERE ? Just what did people see up there before
the day of the weather balloon, space hardware, plasma, and aircraft ? What conven-
ient excuses could be generated to account for those early sightings ? No, there
was no available "out" then to explain a solid object flying through the air,
an object described in detail as observed by hundreds and sighted by all classes
of people from farmers to professionals, --and sighted for many weeks from many
different areas under a dozen different weather conditions.
More currently, through World War II came dozens of reports of objects zipping
here and there through the air --Foo Fighters we called them --sometimes thought
to be new design aircraft, either ours or the enemy's; and both the Allied and
the Axis thought the other was their designer. Those U.F.O. 's were numerous in
number and observed from aircraft and by ground observers, observers trained
especially to screen the sky for unusual and different flying machines. These
trained and skilled people did see and report, dozens of "unknowns". Some reports
were made of sightings close to the ground close enough to give good visual
and sometimes quite detailed accounting. Many of the reports wore made by our own
mititary officers, pilots, ground observers, the C.A.P. Filter Centor crews, radar
crews and professional and techinical people. Are all of those reports to be
considered the result of "battle fatigue", the "juice of the grape" or "liver
spots"? Come now Fly-boys, not every one is nuts and only you are sane. Along
with these sightings come the reports of "Ghost Rockets seen over Rumania and
the Soandinavian Countries only a year or less after the second World War. What
were they to be classed as ? Spirit images ? Captured German V2's ? Hardly,
thore weren't enough V2's in the entire German arsenal of the whole war to acc-
ount for two months sightings--much less cover the number of sightings for
almost a year. What wre they? Illusions ? Illusioned by hundreds and hundresd,
for weeks and weeks? No, they were not illusions, they were real, real U.F.O. 's,
seen as intelligently controlled lights that moved at fantastic speeds,por-
formed acrobatics completely against our known laws of physics, appeared and
disappeared repeatedly, and stopped their appoarance just as quickly as they
appoared. only to show up in other aroas of the world soon after soemingly
to spread the awareness of thoir prosence in wider and wider geographic locat-
ions. Seen world-wide, watchod, tracked, photographed and even chased by jots could
these unknowns be all the product of sclf-deception?No,fly-boy,ycur explanation
of no known alien vehicles being present here on our earth I just don't buy. If
there are no such things as U.F.O. 's why then was over $300,000 appropriated to
investigate them? Why has the subject become a scientific project involving the
brain power of our most intolligent and best qualified and schooled mon and
women? Why do the reports continue year after year? Why do concrete and genuine
photographs showing intelligently designed super-struc tureperhaps different
than ours, buty--still actual and solid. continue to be labeled hoax when there is
no basis to call the photograher a fraud simply because YOU can't identify the
bject?Kennoth Arnold made the first"official" sighting in I947, since then he
has made four more, if he was crazy then, he is by your logic four times as crazy
now. .and Mantell in his F-5I that crashed while chasing A U.F.O. on official
orders while the object was being tracked on radar, the more than eighty radar
accounts of U.F.O.'s ranged from 60,000 fect altitude down to below radar det-
ection and tracked up to thousands of miles per hour. All this BEFORE we put sp-
aae vehicles in the air.Add to this the evidonce of numerous "touch-downs",
and the current "tree-top level" sightings that have been made in the hundreds
in just the last few months. It seems a little depressing to think that according
to nation-wide polls showing over five million witnesess to U.F.O. sightings are
all wrong and only you are right.Maybe YOU haven't seen any U.F.O. 's,if not,get
out and look--and you will ;and maybe you have not only seen them but know more
than you choose to admit. You may rest assured, what millions of people see for
year on end and what falls into an apparent pattern description-wise and cycle-
wise is not the appearance of "Tinker Boll" nor Peter Pan.

credence to the opnion that "something was going on UP THERE! From February
1904 through I933 at least cloven sightings by reputeable witnesses have been
recorded. Some of these some witnesses are still living today and despite our
present day psychological "brain washing" and condi tioning by the image makers,
have not and do not intend to change their opnions of what they saw.
Really now, what is going on UP THERE ? Just what did people see up there before
the day of the weather balloon, space hardware, plasma, and aircraft ? What conven-
ient excuses could be generated to account for thoso early sightings ? No, there
was no available "out" then to explain a solid object flying through the air,
an object described in detail as observed by hundreds and sighted by all classes
of people from farmers to professionals, --and sighted for many weeks from many
difforent areas under a dozen different weather conditions.
More currently, through World War II came dozens of reports of objects zipping
here and there through the air --Foo Fighters we callod them --sometimes thought
to be new design aircraft, either ours or the enemy's; and both the Allied and
the Axis thought the other was their designer. Those U.F.O.'s were numerous in
number and observed from aircraft and by ground observers, observers trained
especially to screen the sky for unusual and different flying machines. These
trained and skilled people did see and report, dozens of "unknowns" Some reports
were made of sightings close to the ground close enough to give good visual
and sometimes quite detailed accounting.Mony of the reports wore made by our own
mititary officers, pilots, ground observers, the C.A.P. Filter Centor crews, radar
crews and professional and techinical people. Are all of these reports to be
considered the result of "battle fatigue", the "juice of the grape", or "liver
spots"? Come now Fly-boys, not every one is nuts and only you are sane. Along
with these sightings come the reports of "Ghost Rockets scen over Rumania and
the Scandinavian Countries only a year or less after the second World War. What
were they to be classed as ? Spirit images ? Captured German V2's ? Hardly,
thore weren't enough V2's in the ontire German arsenal of the whole war to acc-
ount for two months sightings--much less cover the number of sightings for
almost a year. What wre they? Illusions ? Illusioned by hundreds. and hundresd,
for weeks and weeks? No, they were not illusions, they were real, real U.F.O. 's,
soen as intelligently controlled lights that moved at fantastic speeds per-
formed aerobatics completely against our known laws of physics, appeared and
disappoared repeatedly, and stopped thoir appoarance just as quickly as they
appeared. only to show up in other areas of the world soon after seemingly
to spread the awarenoss of thoir prosence in wider and wider geographic lobat-
ions. Seen world-wide, watched, tracked, photographed and even chased by jots could
these unknowns be all the product of self-deception?No, your explanation
of no known alien vehicles being present here on our earth I just don't buy. If
there are no such things as U.F.O.' why then was over $300,000 appropriated to
invostigate them? Why has the subject become a scientific project involving the
brain power of our most intolligent and best qualified and schooled mon and
women? Why do the reports continuo year after year? Why do concrete and genuine
photographs showing intelligently designed super-structurçperhaps different
than ours, buty-still actual and solid. continue to be labeled hoax when there is
no basis to call the photograher a fraud simply because YOU can't identify the

and Mantell in his F-5I that crashed while chasing A U.F.O. on official
orders while the object was being tracked on radar, the more than eighty radar
accounts of U.F.O.' ranged from 60,000 fect altitude down to below radar det-
ection and tracked up to thousands of miles per hour. All this BEFORE we put sp-
aae vehicles in the air.Add to this the evidence of numerpus "touch-downs",
and the current "tree-top level" sightings that have been made in the hundreds
in just the last few months. It seems a little depressing to think that according
to nation-wide polls showing over five million witnesess to U.F.O. sightings are
all wrong and only you are right.Maybe YOU haven't seen any U.F.O. 's, if not,get
out and look--and you maybe you have not only seen them but know more
than you choose to admit You may rest assured, what millions of people see for
year on end and what falls into an apparent pattern description-wise and cycle-
wise is not the appearance of "Tinker Boll" nor Peter Pan.

The following statements are made as a result of screening hundreds of
current reports as made by people in all walks of life and education.
The statements are the results of a sampling of the reports and rep-
resent only one mar's opinion. You may draw your own conclusion of the
subject matter of U.F.O. the following are mine.
U.F.O.'s are real.
They are not "unknowns" as such but are instead E.T.V. --Extra-Terrsetial
Vehicles.
They are designed, constructed and manipulated by an intelligence as we conceive
the meaning of the word and may be occupied vehicles and or remote or auto-
matically controlled probes or monitors.
They are not in any way connected with our nor any other World nation's military.
They are not spiritually nor theologically a part of our world or our inter-
pretation of "soul".
There place of origin, their motive for being here and their propulsive force
are unknown.
They are not "now" to the world, not a fad, nor a psychological escape. The
sightings of solid objects spontanoously by logical witnossos is not the result
of deliberate self-deception nor hysteria.
They exist as solid objects of material that appears to be capeable of alterat-
ion of form and substance at will and by laws of physics advanced and more
spohisticated than our own.
Their duplication would be possible by man if the physics and mechanics of the
devices were known and understood.
There roaction to man's attempt to understand thom is more condoscending than
concerning; they exhibit no concern in solection of place, time or conditions to
make their presence known.
They show advancement of their own workings in the form of altered design of
the vehicles.
They demonstrate intelligence in flight often using geometrical design for their
formations.
Their colors rango the full visible human spectrum and the emission of longer
and shorter wave frequency is indicated on dovices sensitive to these emissions.
The presence appears to be purposeful and persistant and their numbers seem to
be increasing. They have been known to apparently deliberately call attention
to thomselves by "near contact" and yet remain evaisive to attemps by man to ex-
change communication.
The acceptance of U.F.O.'s as actual, would not necessarily disrupt amn's concept
of life but his snese of diroctionsand purpose of being could be altered from
present objectives.

Polor-
oid cameras are excellent but movie cameras offer less chance of question and
far more potential of technical data. Be sonsible,a tiny moving point on a film
has little value, try --and hope to be lucky to got a reasonable "close-up" 11
The largest number of sightings are made in clear weather--more people are
outside and see more but sightings are also made in cloudy and overcast weather.
Most sightings are made at night due to the movement of the lighted object
against a dark background and the object is more obvious. Daytime sightings are
frequently more detailed and the pictures more easily analyized.A U.F.O. sight-
ing can come at any time or place, try to have photographic equipement within
reach all times possible.

FORE-COMING EVENTS - - - FORECAST THEIR SHADOWS
A logical thought :
One of the more basic features of intelligence is curiosity. That this feature
is a part of the motive of U.F has been shown for the many years
that they have been observed; obvious in the many "touch-downs", buzzed cars,
singular and formation flights over industrial, intellectuall, mineral areas,
military sites, and other locations that demenstrate civilized develorement.
Why not capitalize on this feature? A simple plan that could work and would
not involve great expense follows.
Use a cluster of lasers pointed sky-ward to represent a star. With several
clusters, duplicate in miniature the form of one of our common constellations,
The lasers could be positioned on a large opon area selected as most likely
to induce observation. The lasers could be fired automatically at pre-determin
-ed intervals at night. The monitoring devices would like-wise be automatically
controlled. The constellation form could be changed periodically to other out-
lines of formations of our immediate solar system. The plan would requiro pat-
ienc but a minimun of personnel and expenditure. Maintained on a civil-military
basis the plan could operate for months. If not actual communication, ,at least
good technical data might be obtained. The universal language of intelligence
is the "sign" language and our constellaltions would serve as a reference
point on which at least to start.

4-3-67 Mt. Vernon, Wash. A U.F.O. sighting confirmed by Deputy H.J Merrill, Skagit
County Courthouse,a Washington State Patrol Trooper, James Palmer, and several
residents of the Alger-Bow,Wash. area was reported to Whidbey Island Naval Air
Station. The reort stated the object was "about pin-head size" flickered red and
green or "pulsated" in contrast to the nearby stars which were steady. The U.F.O.
was estimated at 3,000 feet altitude and was described by some of the witnesses
as a "radiant" non-moving object. An NAS check verified no balloons in the area,
nor aircraft;no satellites were schedualed to pass over the area at the time of
the sighting which was made at 9:3I P.M. Though the object was watched through
binoculars for a ten minute period, its distance made it impossible to determine
the size or shape.
N
3-27-67 Eureka,Calif. A U.F.O. reported by residents, F.A.A. officals, and an In-
bound Pacific Airlines plane was observed several seconds over the Humboldt Bay
area. Moving too rapidly to be a satellite or balloon, the object passed over the
Rohnerville Airport at 7:28 P.M. Details were lacking but the object changed
color as it sped at extreme speed toward the west and disappeared over the ocean.
The same object was also watched earlier that night as it paused over the PG and
E atomic plant. The F.A.A. officals at the McKinleyville airport admitted to
being "mystified" as the object did not fit any conventional description of a
star, balloon, aircraft or other man-made device. Sheriff Thomas McDonald, Blue Lake
Calif. (near Eureka) verified the sighting. The sighting was too brief to allow
observation of detail other than color, speed, and the lack of sound,
N
3-30-67 Waterbury ,Conn. A round, pulsing object of red-ish orange color moving
slowly and frequently stopping or "hovering" was sighted and reported by police
of Waterbury two nights in a row. The object appeared to be a great height but
lights "all around it" were observed. As the object ascended it emitted "sparks"
then would stop and emit a steady glow. The object appeared at about the same
time both nights around 8:00 to 8:20 P.M. and on the first night was reported
by two motor patrolmen Joseph Anferio, John Clifford, patrolmen Richard White, John
Cavannaugh, Robert Seigal ,Capt. Arnold Mark, and patrolman Leonard Calo. The object
disappeared above clouds. The second night the object appeared it described a
complete circle over the area, and at the same time radio communication between
parol cars and the dispatch center experienced interference described by the
patrolmen in the cars as a "throbbing" on the frequency used by the police. No
structural details were reported on either night The second night of the sight-
ing the police switchboard was "flooded" with calls about the object with nearly
all reports giving the same description. Both nights the sighting lasted about
IO minutes, gave the same color description, shape and the "starting and stopping"
action. The second night the object simply disappeared to the west on a gradual
ascent.
N.
3-15-67 Des Moines, Iowa. A follow-up on the Davenport sighting of a U.F.O. by
Deputy sheriff Frank Courson and patrolman W.P. Fisher (Fisher made 8 MM movies
of the sighting) conducted by an AF investigation team of Captains Edward Orenic
and A.Richard Kato ended with a "no comment" .Courson,a pilot, stated the object
was shaped like an overturned bowl with a ring around the lower edge that emitt
-ed light as though from several individual light sources, The lights revolved
as they pulsated and were of a definite redish color. The object also emitted
a hissing sound. The estimated altitude was 3,000 feet. Its course was southeast
to northwest on a straight tra jectory. During a run of the 8 MM movie film made by
Fisher, one of the AF team was heard to FORDISBRARY It". No explanation was
given as to what "CHOTOS It' inferred. Just the usual silence by AF.
N
3-16-7 Versailles, Missouri Reported to radio station KRMS at Osage Beach, Mo.,
by Mrs. Elizabeth Andrews of Gravois Mills (Near Osage) a U.F.O. that measured
some IOO feet in diameter, emitted a steady red glow and appeared to hover over
Wulff Airport Mo. added to the already mounting number of reports of low level
U.F.O. sightings. The same object was also sighted by Jim Brooks of Rocky Mount,
Mo. (also near Versailles) who added that the object was spherical in shape and
emitted alternately red-green and yellow light. Mr. BBooks thought at first it
was a helicopter but was informed by the airport manager Neal Butler, that the
object, also observed by Mr. Butler, did not conform to helicopter desig n nor
action. The object was viewed for serveral seconds then drifted beyond vision
to the northwest. Mr. Brooks had witnessed the same or a similar object three
nights in a row prior to reporting the incident. In the past two and one half
weeks between 75 and I00 residents of the Osage area have reported sightings of
U.F.O.s. The objects are all described as being variousley colored, usually round
shaped, silent, and at low level altitudes. The color factor rules out the likley
answer that they were balloons as per the weather bureau, all weather balloons
are snow white in color.
N
3-23-7 Omaha, Neb. Sightings are still being reported in the "belt area" as this
section of the country has been referred to because of the nunerous sightings
for the past several weeks. A U.F.O. "glowing white" and changing to red was
watched by Mrs. Hobbs, of 5320-N. Omaha, the U.F.O. was also observed by two
other witnesses nurses of the Veterans Hospital Omaha. No noise was noted,
the object remained stationary several seconds and accelerated out of sight.
The sighting was made about 3:00 A.M.At the same time, 3:00A. twp full moon-
sized U.F.O.s were seen by .Mildred Kerr of I50I Park Ave in the company of
two friends, as the objects hovered over the hospital. Per Mrs. Kerr, as the lights
turned in the sky then gained in brilliance and at times appeared to have "halos"
of red light around them. Offutt Air Base said two KC I35 refueling planes had
been in the area but had landed about a half-hour befor the sighting. No other
aircraft were airborne in the area at the time of the sighting. Mrs. Hobbs describ
-ed the object she saw as being an "upside down dbowl resting on a dinner plate"
N
3-22-7 Missouri Valley Iowa. Police officer, Richard Tiffy of Missouri Valley
reported sighting an object like a half-moon of redish color and with dark
"streaks" hovering over the nearby community of Modale. The object remained stat-
ionary about five minutes the sped out of sight at extreme speed. No detalis of
size nor altitude were given.
N
3-23-7Rosseau, Minn. Several sightings for more than a week have been made by the
residents of this farm community with all the descriptions of the U.F.O. being
almost identical, The U.F.O. as seen through the week at about the same time
each night, around 8;10 P.M. is described as being dome shaped and flat across
the base. It was of a redish to orange color, hovered, zig-zagged in the sky and
appeared to emit "steam" from the dome section. It was observed at various levels
of altitude from I00 feet above ground to an undetermined height beyond visual
range. The object in each case of sighting disappeared either to the north or the
northwest. At times it would be low enough to distinguish the outlines of trees
between itself and the dark background. The object at times of low level hover-
ing was heard to emit a "beeping" noise and was further described by the many
witness. as becoming exceedingly bright then dim. It was definitely not aircraft
nor balloons and the repeated appearence and acrobatics performed eliminate the
star or natural phenomena answer. Some witnesses watched the U.F.O. through
binoculars others with just the naked eye but all gave the same description of
shape and color. In one report, the object caused the T.V. to "flip-flop" indicat-
ing a E.M. effect.
N
2-227 Dallas, Tex. Flooding the switch-board of Dallas police, station WfAA and
The Dallas News,a wave of reported sightings brought residents out in the streets
of the Dallas area to "look for The sightings lasted two nights in a
row. The sightings of round, conical, and bulb-like "fireballs" occured between 7
and IO.P.M. both nightsA Dallas policeman, Garrison H. Harmon sighted a series of
small glowing-red objects over North Dallas, flying in a southwesterly direction;
first two objects, then one by itself, then three U.F.O.s crossed the sky and as
they did so appeared to drop "burning material". One object flew directly over-
head of the observer and a shiny aluminum like object seemed to abpart of the
structure of the underside. The underside appendage seemed to be shaped like a
"parachute". The objects were very high and appeared only inches in diameter but
were close enough to determine shape. Alliflew a streight course and at first were
thought to be helicopters until a check est Carswell AFB proved no aircraft in the
air at the sighting time. The U.F.O.s were silent and inone report appeared as a
"formation"; three in one case, seven in another. In some reports the objects were
noted as like "sky-rockets". The objects did not hover nor was there noted the
of ten reported rotating action yet when U.F. Project Officer Lt.D.J. Tucker at
Carswell was queried PHOTOCOPY.FRGM caused the sightings.
N
3-24-67 Kansas City, Kan. Another report of an incident wherein the occupant of
a car was pursued by a U.F.O. As reported by Miss Judy Harris, 2736-N.67th
Kansas City, Kan. ,Miss Harris while enroute from Manhatten, Kan. to K.C. noticed a
strong white light ahead and above the car she and MissMarilyan Tadtman also
of K.C. were driving. Intrigued by the brightness of the object the two began a
chase down the hiway toward the object to obtain a closer view. As they drove
along, the object became larger and assumed the size of a huge star, however, the
object moved in a very erratic course, first to the left, back to the right, dropp-
ed downto about ground level then shot straight up into the sky again. Though the
two girls were now closer to the U.F.O. it atill was toodistant to observe detail
The girls returned to town, joined several friends and returned to the area 6
miles from K.C. to continue watching the object. The U.F.O. was still in view
as the carload of girls reached the area. Suddenly the object zoomed directly
toward the car and accelrated into a steep climb above the car and finally dis-
appeared. While the object approached the car a more solid shape was noted. The
U.F.O. was an oval shape emitted an intense white light, the lower edge was a
definite red color and the entire object changed to yellow as it accelerated out
of sight. The sighting took place about 8:20 P.M. and was witnessed also by the
additional friends, Gene Van Dyke, Des Moines, Iowa;Miss Trudy Brewer, 6747 Granada,
Prairie Village Kan. and Jerry Leise of Mynot, Neb.
A similar incident of ing"buzzed"by a U.F.O. was reported near Anacortes, Wash.
a few weeks ago by a Naval officer and his wife as they were driving toward
Anacortes.A third incident took place near Omak, Wash. about the 22nd of March.
that incident was reported in last month's BULLETIN. The apparent "Tree-top level"
and lower altitude of the U.F.O. 's seems definitely to be increasing and as pre-
viously stated in the BULLETIN indicates a new phase of U.F.O. activity.
N
3-22-67 Goodland, Kan. This area,an apparent focal point of many sightings in the
last several weeks reported another sighting by police officers Duri Rouse and
Ron Weelunt. The object,as reported, carried the same general description of a UFO.
Strong white light" with colored lights around it.The U.F.O. was a great distance
away and even though viewed through a telescope at the nearby airport no out-
standing features nor detail were noted. The instruement clearly established
that the U.F.O. was not a satellite, balloon nor helicopter and the movement of
the object rules out star or meteor possibilities. The sighting was made at 3:15
A.M.
N
3-2-67 Lennox, S.D. (Late report) Sighted by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brockman of Lennox,
at I0;30 P.M. 3/2/7 A cylinderical U.F.O. which at first appeared as a plane on
fire and crashing, upon closer observation was seen to be a definite U.F.O. with
visable detail. The object stopped short in mid-air about I00 feet above ground
and about IOO feet away from the Broskmans. After "hovering" briefly it ascended
at "terrific" speed, stopped short again in mid-air and descended once more in
front of the Brockman's car. This erractic pattern was repeated several times and
each time the U.F.O. ascended it increased in intensity the already extremely
bright white light. The sighting lasted nearly 30 minutes and allowed enough time
for the couple to note that the object was about twenty feet long, gray in color,
emitted a low "whistle" as it ascended, was pointed on the forward end and blunt
on the aft end. The aft end appeared open and measured about 8 to IO feet across,
and from this open end a blueish short flame would issue as it ascended, As the
flame was expolled the aft half of the object would turn an intense white color-
ed light, strong enough to light the surrounding area to daylight brightness.
When the object "hovered" the light was dim enough for Mr. Brookman to note the
hull was made of a metalic substance. The object did not seem to have any "ports"
or other openings but intead gave the look of a plain bullot shaped cylinder. The
same U.F.O. was reported seen 3 miles from the Brockman sighting by a farm couple
that stated the object hovered above their barn for several minutes causing the
couple to retreat to their basement. According to the first couple the object,
after performing the unique acrobatics above their car, simply accelerated at an
extreme speed and disappeared in a westerly direction. The farm couple stated
when they came out of the basement, the object was "gone". Both couples were total
strangers to each other but gave the identical descriptions of the U.F.O.
N
3-24-67 Quincy, Wash. Sighted by Bill Weber of Quincy along with several members
of the Quincy Police Dept. .a single U.F.O. of white light with a redish tinge
hovered for about 30 minutes just northwest of that community. The object moved
from an east to west direction at a high rate of speed stopping only once just
beyond the small town. While hovering, the light of the object disappeared as a
jet plane approached and as the plane departed the area the U.F.O. light re-
appeared. The object emitted streaks of light giving a "halo" effect, was estimat-
ed to be about 7,000 altitude, and moved beyond vision towards the west. The re-
port was filed to Jon Andrews, undersheriff of Grant County sheriff's office.
An unusual effect caused by U.F.O. 's is the opening and closing of radio-controll
-ed garage doors. model FROM FORD tode Ysa tellite frequency but
were corrected. The new models react not to satellites but to U.F.O.s 11
N
3-17-7 Point Pleasant, Ohio Local residents of this community added still more
reports of U.F.O.s in the "belt Area". This sighting occured between 9@30 and
I0:00 P.M. and described the U.F.O. as a round object with a bright ray of light
that made a circle over the downtown area, Other reports from Sandy Heights (an
adjoining area) indicated the object as rotating;no details of size nor altitude
were given, no noise was heard and the object simply disappeared from view. No
aircraft were in the area and bsllpons do not emit rays of light downward over a
restricted or confined small area.
D
3-20-7 Grand Junction,Colo. An unusual report of a "touch-down" was made at
Mountrose ,Colo. by Mrs. Ted Willden, her son Tod, and an employee of a local busi-
ness firm. Though verification is yet to be made the report gave these dotails.
A large circle imprint on a gravel road which is seldom used was noted. The circle
measured 9 feet 3 inches across had a band of highly polished and shiney pebbles
5 to 6 inches wide near the midsection of the circle and the circle iteself was
absolutely round. The circlo was in the center section of the road and showed a
few tire tracks running straight through it indioating the cars had passed over
it that morning. Next to the first circle was a second one that measured about
6 feet across with that imprint fading out toward the outer edge. Montrose is a
very small community of farms ,nothing would be gained by hoax. What caused the
imprint is unknown but the band of polished pebbles in a perfect circle and the
ontire imprint being perfectly round together with a second perfectly round im-
print only a few foot away tends to indicate the impression was made by a geo-
metric dovice of considerable weight and perhaps a rotating action that could
have caused the polished appearance of the band of pebbles. Farm machinery turn-
ing around in the center of the road would leave a circle but it would also
leave tracks leading in and out of the cirole the imprint had no-trucks in or
out -- and what type of farm machinery would polish pebhles overnight ???
N
4-22-7 A report just received of another "chase" by a U.F.O. was made today by
Gary Lee Walt, of Kent, Wash. Mr. Walt while driving allone on the Winchester Waste
road near the George and Naylor junction near Euphrata, Wash. noticed a very
intense white light about a mile ahead and apparently resting directly on the
pavement. He approached within ton feet of the object before it ascended at ext-
remo speed. Mr Walt was unable to dotormine shape or detail because of the intense
light but after the object escended Walt continued on and in glancing backward
as he drove three minutos later saw the object following him. The U.F.O. had
changed color to ambor and romained behind and somewhat above and to the left
of the car several hundred feet. The U.F.O. followed Walt for at least five miles
thon ascended and "disappearod". This incidont parallols the "chase" incident of
Omak, Wash. ,as well as the "chase" incident of Anacortes, Wash. all within 30
days.
N
3-20-7 Colorado Springs Colo. Sightod by Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Brandenburg of 524-E.
Bijou St.Colorado Springs a "tangerine-size" U.F.O. emitting a strong redish-
orange light was witnessed moving in a southerly direction over Colorado Springs
at 9:30 P.M. ;its spood Was that of an airplane but no sound was audible. The
altitude was not reported but the object was low enough to observe protuberances
on both ends lending the object a cigar-shape. Red "spikes" were also noticed
extonding from the outer edges and the object seemed to drop a spark or flare
that remained lighted several minutes. The object was in view for about five
minutos then disappoared over Cheyene Mountain to the south of Colorado Springs.
The spikes noticed on this object are similar to the spikes noted on the object
that "chased" a car recently near Omak,Wash. That incident was reported in last
month's issue of U.F.O.-INFO.

The subject of U.F.O. is not restricted to any one level of education or intell-
ect:it is comprehensive of all. It poses the greatest mystery of the 20th Cent-
ury. rt is gaining in recognition as a scientific question demanding an answer,
is important enough to warrant Government appropreation for investigation, is
world wide in scope and Rh9 deughed a joke or imagination

Frequent reports are made of this
design.
INVERTED DISH with mast

Similar to a "typical" disk but with a

have offered strong points of arguement
in attempting to prevo U.F.O.s are real
The variety of design of U.F.O.s seems almost unlimited, yet they all seem cape
able of the same unique aero-dynamic movements. Their energy source appears to be
the same for all designs with light being an intricate component of the motive
force.

mation shifted position according to a
definite pattern"
The photos were taken at night with a
35 MM candid camera.
The photos have been reproduced in many
magazines and newspapers and offer very
strong evidence to support the existance
of U.F.O.s

Sketch of drawing made from report of
May 8,1966 at SeattTe, Wash. A formation
of 9 as shown traveled across an open
clear sky in a strong N.E. direction at
I2:20 A.M. They emitted a soft amber
colored light surrounded by a"misty"
white envelope or halation. They did not
change position nor vary in intensity of
emitted light. They were about the size
of a pea held at arm's length, were
1
silent and did not oscillate. The objects
were visible for about I5 seconds.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY:
Dr. James E. McDonald, physicist of the University of Arizona and a recent
subscriber to U.F.O. INFO
The Air Force team investigating reports of unidentified flying objects
has given the subject a whitewashing. In reference to Project Blue Book,
Dr.McDonald said there were probably ten times as many unexplained U.F.Os
as indicated in the study. Dr. McDonald made three trips to Wright-Patter-
son Field, the investigating teams headquarters last year and said he had
never seen "such superficiality and incompetence in an area of such
potentially enormous scientific importance "Expressing his own beliefs on
the subject of U.F.O.s, the physicist considers the reports of U.F.O.s as
indications of visits by aliens from other parts of the universe and
feels the public, Congress, and the scientific world is being mislead by
the Air Force investigation.
Dr. H. Bragg, associate professor of education at Drake University:
Stated in his article written for Midland Schools, the official publicat-
ion of the Iowa State Education Association that the purpose of the art-
icle was to alert the teaching profession to the fact that there is a
strong possibility that the flying saucer controversy is about to enter
the classroom as a social, scientific, and perhaps political and cultural
problem of major implications in our world. Bragg stated further in his
article that should the recent award of 300,000 by Air Force to the
University of Colorado to conduct a depth study of the subject of O.F.O.s
support what appears to be convincing documentary evidence that U.F.O.s
are real, the possibilities for future space travel and contact with
superior civilizations becomes no longer science fiction but headspinning
realities.
Frank Edwards, nationally recognised writen and columniat:
In a lecture in Portland, Oregon March 3, this year commented 021 the abrupt
change of attitude by the public on the subject of U.F.O.s.His remarks
of how the public has revised its negative approach to one of real con-
cern and open possibilities were reflected in his statement" A year ago
Boeing wouldn't let me in their parking lot;now they invite me to speak
before a select group of design engineers". Edwards is not a technician
but has been engaged to address such august institutions as Harvard
University ФНОМОГОРУ MIGERALD FORDI UBRACYs
