Against GF's visit to RN: "GF got the Presidency for the price
of a pardon.' "
Feels News election projection is unfair when people in the West
haven't cast their ballots yet.
Concern over the Canadian Indians which took over some land in NY.
The people in the community must be escorted by police where ever
they want to go in the town. 2 youths shot last week. The Indians
claim provocation by the youths, but no guns were found in the
car operated by the youths.

Upset about the newsplay of the calf slaughterings. Remind GF that
he said everyone should clean up their plates. This kind of news
item shouldn't be viewed on TV. The woman called CBS in NY and
complained. They told her if she wanted something done about it
to call the White House.
Concered about the oil shale development issue in Colorado. They
don't feel Project Independence should go ahead. They feel consid-
eration should be given to the environment. (2 14-yr. olds calling
from a pay phone in Colo.)
Thank GF for his trip to Michigan.
She voted GOP because GF went to see his friend, RN and made it known
to the world. Thinks GF is a great man. Wants GF to be pres. in '76.
GF: Thanks for coming to Kansas. "You turned the tide."
Concerned Dem woman was concerned La.'s Long was running unopposed.
She said if she'd known that, she'd have run herself. She feels
opposition is impt. She's happy w/ GF, feels he's honest and
fairly objective.
Election is disappointing to see what the US people are doing to
this country; it's a conspiracy.

Disappointed Gf hasn't provided more leadership on energy problem
with either rationing or higher gas taxes.
GOP Predinct chairmaan in Montgomery County, Md. said the GOP took
a battering, that the people are angry about RN and the media isn't
making such talk up.
Does GF realize how his support of RN affected US and GOP?
Fed up with GF commenting that the economy is the cause of the Dem
sweep. She and others feel the pardon and amnesty and Watergate
were the causes. She noted GF's remark he wouldn't pay any attention
to the polls. She said he should because that's how US feels.

Morally or politically Brown is a moron.

Brown's vicious and fallacious. Concerned JCS has doubled its

Appalled at Brown. Didn't know NR and Mellon were Jewish.
Brown has no business being in office.
Distressed over Brown; reflects poorly on GF.
Brown didn't know how to control his tongue.
Brown smacks of anti-semitism.
Totally inept. Undermining our democracy.
Frightening someone would harbor those inner feelings; it's
reminiscent of 3rd Reicht.
Stinking statement. Sick. Furious.
Thought this was old-fashioned anti-Semitism which US had outgrown.
Man wouldn't let his sons go into military under Brown. Great
objection.
Hope GF will have a lot more sense about Brwon than Schlesinger
does. "I didn't vote for Brown and he has no business of getting
into the domestic situation of the US. Hope GF does his job as
C-I-C and fires Brown. US needs someone w/ less vulgar attitudes.
Spoke like a Naxi. Expect greater intelligence from JCS chrmn.

Brown smears US.
When JWF (Fulbright) was on Face the Nation, he said the Zionists

Disgust w/ Brown's gross distortion.
Don't fire Gen. Brown. It took courage to speak the truth.
Not satisfied w/ Brown's apology. Remove.
What they are doing to Gen. Brown is awful. "There is freedom of
speech.' He's being ruined.
Brown's comment was out of order.
Give Brown a raise!
Share's Brown's concern that the Jewish influence in Congress
compromises military equipment from active units due to a tight
DOD budget. It's not anit-semetic to show concern over lack of
preparedness.
Congratulate Brown for having the guts to speak the truth!
Remove Brown. This started in Germany with such statements. We'll
hound him out of office. NYT will get adds against Brown by
next wk.
Brown, resign. Does our Pres condone this Hitler-like statement?
Reprimand of Brown is not enough. Resign.
Brown is a bigot.
Brown isn't diplomatic enough to be in a high position.
Demote Brown.

MISC. COMMENTS:
GF was wrong in not asking for food aid.
GF should meet w/ respective ambsssadors rather than go on his
trip abroad. Feels it could harm US' internat'l relationship.
Wants GF to mention the inhumane treatment of Russian dissidents
in talks w/ Brezhnev; especially Valentine Moroz who's been on
a hunger strike since 7/1/74.
Approve NR. Hill hearings are nitpicking. Wuestions asked are
irrelevant.
NR hearings are a political game. 25th amdmt. isn't working. I'm
upset w/ political system.
Anti NR. Couldn't vote for GF in '76 if NR is VP.
NR isn't fit to be VP.
GF's doing a fine job. We shoulnd't go overboard and stretch our
limits here at hoem w/ the food program. Food isn't utilized well
overseas and will not be used as it should.
NR hearings have gone on long enough.
Disgusted w/ NR hearings. Urge GF to do something or we'll lose
a good man.
Sirica is lynching RN. He insults the First lady, her family and
the MD's who saved RN's life.
Butz is your finest cabinet member. Keep him. He's let us mind our
business and is cutting out the bureaucrats. God Bless him!
It's appalling not to have a VP. Hill is awful.
Supports Bartlett Amdmt HR 315580; Weinberger is for abortion.
End policy of taking himan life at cost to taxpayer.
It's terrible what NR is going through. Hill isn't behaving
responsibly.
US should make more of a commitment to world food conf.
NR is fantastic. US needs a VP. Hearings are: "Meet Around the
Clock".
NR hearings are invading NR's privacy. I'm horrified.
