THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON Secretaries Week, 1975 In the rush of our daily lives, there is much that becomes second nature, much that we uninten- tionally take for granted. Nothing is more second nature to the work of government and industry in this country than the efficiency of the secretary. It is most appropriate, therefore, that all across our country in every area of endeavor we set aside the week of April 20 - 26 to honor the nation's secretaries. Countless Americans daily express their understood trust in their secretaries. We charge them with many vital details, on which much of our success depends. At this time, we all have a perfect oppor- tunity to recognize this fact and salute the accuracy, diligence and -- above all -- devotion of the American secretary. Herald R Ford FORD & LIBRARY 03
