Ford Presidential Library\nTHE WHITE HOUSE\nWASHINGTON\nPROFESSIONAL ATHLETES PRAYER BRUNCH\nFebruary 15, 1976\n11:00 a.m.\nDress:\nBusiness suit\nshort dresses for the ladies\nArrival:\n--\n11:00 a.m.\nyour guests will be assembled in the State Dining\nRoom where juice will be served.\n11:15 a.m.\nyou and Mrs. Ford will be escorted via elevator\nto the Grand Hall where you will receive your guests from a\nposition in front of the Blue Room door between the flags -- your\nguests will proceed to the East Room where they will be seated.\nNOTE: There will be press coverage of the receiving line only.\nAfter the receiving line, follow guests into the East Room. You\nwill escort Mrs. Ford to her table and then proceed to the platform\nwhich will be located along the center of the east wall.\nBrunch:\n--\nRound tables\n--\nYou will make welcoming remarks and then be seated at your\ntable.\nNOTE: Brunch program is attached (Tab A).\n--\nAfter Mr. Boyer sings \"Get All Excited, \" you will return to the\nplatform to address your guests.\n--\nAfter your speech, you will return to your table for the remainder\nof the program.\n-2-\nProfessional Athletes Prayer Brunch\n--\nThe Brunch will conclude with Mr. Boyer singing, \"America,\nthe Beautiful. 11\nDeparture:\n--\nYou may wish to invite your guests to have a tour of the Lincoln\nRoom, Treaty Room, and Queen's Room.\n--\nYou and Mrs. Ford will bid farewell to your guests and return to\nthe Family Quarters via elevator.\nNOTES:\n--\nMilitary Social Aides will be present.\n--\nThe Marine Corps String Ensemble will be positioned in the Grand\nHall.\n:\nGuest list is attached (Tab B).\n--\nRemarks are attached (Tab C).\n--\nBriefing paper is attached (Tab D).\n--\nA White House photographer will be present.\n--\nA Bible from you and Mrs. Ford has been personally inscribed to\neach athlete or principal guest and will be given to them as they\ndepart.\nMaria Downs"
