And I became a manual\nalso studied with Adolph Busch) and thus began an inti-\nlaborer in the city of Borisoglebsk when I was 15.\" Skep-\nmate relationship between pupil and master that was to in-\ntical pundits have suggested that given his bearing and cos-\nfluence Menuhin's career as long as Enesco lived (he died\nmopolitan tastes, he must really have emerged from the\nin 1955). Like his two pianist sisters, Hepzibah and Yaltah,\nminor tsarist nobility. In 1922 he went to Moscow where\nhe was kept out of school and taught largely by his mother\nhe studied at the Plekhanov Institute, a school specializ-\nand occasional tutors. In 1943, he\nchildren. His second marriage, to Diana Gould, took place\nwas sent to Atlantic City as the deputy chief of the Soviet\nin 1947, and also produced two children. In the years since\ndelegation at the founding of U.N.R.R.A., was named by\nhis debut he has made it a point to play unfamiliar modern\nits secretary general, Herbert Lehman to serve in Washing-\nworks as much as possible, and has introduced \"lost\" works\nton. in 1944 as one of the three deputy director generals.
