Your ideas, insights and overall perspective\nof Indian development were most enlightening. The same is\ntrue of your plans to direct bureaucratic differences in\nplanning and administration toward a more common goal. The\nlatter is a general problem and I found your approach to\novercoming bureaucratic over-lapping and duplication unique\nand distinctive. I would dearly love to be a fly on the\nwall of your office and follow your resolution of this\nproblem over the next few months. I am sure such an exercise\ncould be both productive and instructive. There are many\nparallels between Indian people of our respective countries\nand the opportunity to gain insight into your thinking was\nmost helpful.\nIn the course of our conversation I mentioned the interest\nmy Minister the Honourable Judd Buchanan has in exchaning\nideas with legislators and senior government advisors who\nhave interests and responsibilities which parallel his own.\nYou indicated an interest in possibly coming to Ottawa to\nmeet Mr. Buchanan and his colleagues.
