NATIONAL ARCHIVES AND RECORDS ADMINISTRATION NA FORM 1429 (1-98) charles E Goodell PRESIDENTIAL CLEMENCY BOARD THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON, D.C. 20500 August 29, 1975 MEMORANDUM TO : ATTACHED LIST RA FROM : ROBERT J. HORN, EXECUTIVE SECRETARY SUBJECT : CAMP DAVID TRIP As you are aware, the Board will meet at Camp David on Tuesday, September 2, Wednesday, September 3, and Thursday, September 4. Private vehicles will be used to carpool Board Members and staff to Camp David. Jim Poole is arranging the carpools. The Board and staff will meet at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at 2033 M Street and leave from there to go to Camp David. A map of the route to Camp David is attached. For security reasons it is requested that both Board and staff report to their assigned carpools, because the driver of the carpool will be required to identify his passengers at the gate. I have been informed that cabin assignments at Camp David will be made upon arrival. I have also been informed that the temperature at Camp David is approximately 10 to 15 degrees cooler than that in the Washington area. It is suggested that sweaters and light wraps be brought along. There is also a swimming pool as well as other recreational facilities, all of which will be available to both the Board and staff. You will also find attached a tentative schedule for Board meetings. It is, of course, subject to change. I hope you enjoy your stay.
