THE WHITE HOUSE
The President today announced his intention to nominate Marjorie W. Lynch
of Yakima, Washington, to be Deputy Administrator of the American
Revolution Bicentennial Administration. She has been an Associate Director
of the ACTION Agency since October 15, 1973.
From 1961 to 1971 she served in the Washington State Legislature before
becoming Regional Director for ACTION. After serving until 1973 as
Regional Director she was appointed an Associate Director of the ACTION
Agency in October of 1973.
Mrs. Lynch was born on November 30, 1920, in London, England, and
graduated from a private school in Croydon in Surrey, England. She
resides in Yakima, Washington.
