NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today accepted with deep regret the resignation
of Harald B. Malmgren, as Deputy Special Representative for
Trade Negotiations effective today. He was appointed on May
11, 1972.
Prior to his appointment in 1972, Mr. Mal mgren was President
of Malmgren, Inc., an economic consulting firm in Washington,
D.C.
Mr. Malmgren was born on July 13, 1935 in Boston, Massachusetts.
He received his B.S. degree from Yale University in 1957 and
his Ph. D. from Oxford University in 1961. He has three children.
