NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President has accepted with sincere regret the resignation of John
A. Knebel as General Counsel of the Department of Agriculture effective
April 1, 1975.
Mr. Knebel joined the Department of Agriculture in January, 1973.
Mr. Knebel plans to return to private practice of law.
The President has accepted with regret the resignation of Robert
P. McCulloch, as a member of the Low Emission Vehicle
Certification Board.
He was appointed on June 15, 1971.
The President has accepted with deep regret the resignation of John
C. Whitaker as Under Secretary of the Department of Interior effective
May 1, 1975.
Mr. Whitaker was appointed to the Department of Interior on January
22, 1973. He was Deputy Assistant td the President for Domestic
Affairs from August 1969 until his appointment at the Department of
Interior.
Mr. Whitaker resides in Bethesda, Maryland.
