NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced his intention to nominate James R. Laffoon,
of La Mesa, California, for reappointment as United States Marshal for the
Southern District of California for a term of four years. He was appointed
on June 28, 1971 for a term which expires June 27, 1975.
