NOTICE TO THE PRESS
MORNING ACTIVITIES.OF THE PRESIDENT
Prime Minister Wilson arrived at 8:00 a.m. After opening session
pictures, the meeting started at 8:06 a.m. and ended at 9:07 a.m.
On the U.S. side, the participants were: The President, Secretary
Kissinger, General Scowcroft and Helmut Sonnenfeldt. On the British
side, the participants were: Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Secretary
of State Callaghan, Mr. K. R. Stowe - Principal Private Secretary to
the Prime Minister, Sir John Funt - Secretary to the Cabinet.
From 9:07 to 9:30 a.m. the President and Secretary Kissinger reviewed
papers alone. General Secretary Brezhnev arrived at 9:30 a.m. and
after press photos, the meeting started at the table in the dining room
at 9:37 a.m.
