MST\nTHE PRESIDENT: Who do we get, Ann today? (Laughter)\nQUESTION: How was it?\nTHE PRESIDENT: Great, perfect, excellent.\nPeople don't know what they are missing.\nQUESTION: How are the skiing conditions?\nTHE PRESIDENT: Excellent, really. The sun was\nwonderful, the snow was good and I fell down once.\nQUESTION: What caused that?\nTHE PRESIDENT: Carelessness. (Laughter)\nIt was the easiest part of the slope.\nQUESTION: What are you going to be doing on\nChristmas Day?\nTHE PRESIDENT: Skiing, opening presents, having\na good time with the family.\nQUESTION: How do you feel about the criticism --\nor some of your aides have suggested that this is not\npoliticly good for you to come out and being seen frolicking\non the Rockies.\nTHE PRESIDENT: I see an awful lot of nice people out\nhere and I think an awful lot of Americans are spending\ntime with their family, as we are, so I would do it because\nof that. Political consequences? I really haven't\nthought about it.\nQUESTION: Do you think it has any political\nconsequences?\nTHE PRESIDENT: I think it's a plus rather than a\nminus.\nIt is real nice to see you all.\nMORE\nPage 2\nQUESTION: Have you talked to Secretary Dunlop?\nThere is lots of confusion about this on whether or not\nyou have talked with him.\nTHE PRESIDENT: I talked to him the day I\ndecided to veto.\nQUESTION: What is his status?
