Office of the White H₀ use Press Secretary
(Vail, Colorado)
NOTICE TO THE PRESS
Richard Cheney, Assistant to the President, met with Mrs. Hilda Tully
and Mrs. Dorothy Tully for one hour and twenty minutes. Mr. Cheney
listened to their story. He told them that he could not make any commit-
ment to help them. However, he said he would ask the Office of the
Counsel at the White House to look into the matter through the normal
channel of the Justice Department.
Mr. Cheney also suggested that if the women wanted to pursue the
matter they should do so through the normal channels of the courts and
the Justice Department.
