NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President has signed H.R. 12193 - National Study Commission
Authorization. This bill amends the Federal Water Pollution Control
Act to increase the authorization for the National Study Commission
from $17,000,000 to $17,250,000.
The bill authorizes an additional $250,000 to enable the Commission to
pay any remaining bills and provide for printing of the final reports.
The Commission has now completed its final report and anticipates its
submission to the Congress in April 1976.
