Ford Presidential Library MAR CH 26, 1976 THE WHITE HOUSE Office of the White House Press Secretary (San Francisco, California) NOTICE TO THE PRESS The following information has been released by the V hite House Press Office in Washington: The President has signed S. J. Res. 184. - to make amendments to the Regional Rail Reorganization Act relating to the issuance and distribution of stocks by the Consolidated Rail Corporation, its state of incorporation and the avail- ability of employee protection benefits. The President has signed S. 1545 Peanut allotment transfers. This bill provides for the transfer of peanut allotments in the event of a natural disaster. The President has signed H. R. 4034 the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial - designating a new Veterans Administration hospital in Loma Linda, California, as the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Hospital and to authorize the Veterans Administration to provide a suitable memorial. The President has signed an amendment to the original declaration disaster for the state of Michigan of March 19, 1976, to include damage caused by tornadoes which o ccurred on March 20, 1976. # # #
