THE WHITE HOUSE
The President today announced the appointment of two persons as members
of the Advisory Committee for Trade Negotiations for terms of two years.
They are:
Norborne Berkeley, Jr., of Princeton, New Jersey, President
of the Chemical Bank of New York City.
William D. Knox, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Editor, General
Manager and Publisher of W.D. Hoard and Sons Company.
The Committee is composed of not more than 45 individuals and includes
representatives of government, labor, industry, agriculture, small business,
service industries, retailers, consumer interests, and the general public.
The Advisory Committee shall issue a report to the Congress as soon as is
practical after the end of the period which ends 5 years after the date of
enactment of Public Law 93-618.
