Met with Governor Colon.

Review International Summit Briefing
Books and Materials. (1 1/2 hours)

President greeted the Italian Delegation and
escorted Prime Minister Moro to his quarters.
3:40 p.m.
Reviewed briefing books.
4:30 p.m.
Greeted the Japanese Delegation and escorted
Prime Minister Miki to his quarters.
4:45 p.m.
Convened a meeting in yard behind his villa
to finalize preparation for summit meetings.
Those present included: Secretary Simon,
Messrs. Greenspan, $ cowcroft, Seidman, Yeo,
Cheney, and Hormats. Secretary Kissinger
and Mr. Sonnenfeldt joined the meeting at 4:55 p.m.
5:40 p.m.
President greeted the German Delegation and es-
corted Prime Minister Schmidt to his quarters.
