NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced his intention to nominate John T. Copenhaver,
of Charleston, West Virginia, to be United States District Judge for the
District of West Virginia. He will succeed Kenneth Hall who has resigned.
Mr. Copenhaver has been the Referee in Bankruptcy for the United States
District Court of the Southern District of West Virginia.
A biographical sketch is attached.
