NOTICE TO THE PRESS
On Saturday, August 28th, the President is expected to spend a good
deal of his time in the Bass residence on staff work. In addition, to
meetings with his staff, the President will go over his paper work, and
will work on the speech he will deliver Sunday in Yellowstone Park.
There are no plans for golf.
The advance text of the President's remarks will be available in the Press
Filing Center, Mountain Haus, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, embargoed for re-
lease until 1:00 p.m., M.D.T., Sunday, August 29. We also hope to have
the bible for the trip available at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. If there are announce-
ments or releases, they will be posted at 10:00 a.m., but none is expected.
Other than the releases, there is a news lid at the Press Office for Friday
night and Saturday. The Press Office will be closed Friday night and
Saturday, but Ron Nessen, John Carlson, Bill Roberts and Thym Smith
can be reached through the Mountain Haus switchboard.
