NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President has accepted the resignation of Paul Webster MacAvoy as
a member of the Council of Economic Advisers, effective November 15,
1976. He was appointed on June 10, 1975. There is no successor to
announce at this time.
The President has accepted the resignation of John A. Hill as Deputy
Administrator of the Federal Energy Administration effective November 12,
1976. He was appointed on April 18, 1975. There is no successor to
announce at this time.
The President has accepted the resignation of Thomas G. Cody as an
Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development effective
November 5, 1976. He was appointed on March 6, 1975. There is
no successor to announce at this time.
The President today acknowledged the retirement of Edward M. McEntee
as a United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit effective
December 31, 1976. He was appointed on September 1, 1975. There
is no successor to announce at this time.
The President today accepted the resignation of Austin N. Heller as an
Assistant Administrator of Energy Research and Development effective
November 4, 1976. He was appointed September 23, 1975. There is
no successor to announce at this time.
