NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced his intention to nominate three persons to
be members of the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public
Broadcasting for terms expiring March 26, 1982. They are:
Charles H. Crutchfield, of Charlotte, North Carolina. He
succeeds Robert S. Benjamin, whose term has expired. He
was nominated on July 22, 1976.
Leslie N. Shaw, of Los Angeles, California. He succeeds
Virginia Bauer Duncan, whose term has expired. He was
nominated on July 22, 1976.
Paul M. Stevens, of Fort Worth, Texas. He succeeds Thomas
W. Moore, whose term has expired. He was nominated on Septem-
ber 20, 1976.
