PRESIDENT FOR NATIONAL SECURITY
AFFAIRS
Subject: 139th Meeting of the Permanent Joint
Board on Defense, Canada-United States
1. Attached herewith for your information is a copy
of the Journal of Discussions and Decisions of the
139th meeting of the Permanent Joint Board on
Defense, Canada-United States (PJBD), held at Royal
Roads Military College, British Columbia, 17-20
June 1975. This is the first PJBD meeting that I
have attended in my capacity as Chairman of the
United States Section. I have submitted a letter
to the President briefly discussing this meeting
and observing the spirit of cooperation evident
between the United States and Canadian members of
the Board.
2. The PJBD will hold its 140th meeting in September
1975. If you have any suggestions as to agenda
items, the United States Section would be happy to
receive them.
3. Without attachment, this memorandum is UNCLASSIFIED.
