Embassy Brasilia has recommended that Secretary Butz present a letter from President Ford when he is received by President Geisel, and the Department concurs. A suggested text is attached. Since this draft refers obliquely to the invitation to President Geisel to visit the United States, it would be helpful if the invitation letter to President Geisel (sent forward under cover of my memorandum of June 5) could be signed at the same time.
