generalNotes
President Gerald Ford received a wolf-skin fur coat from his friend, Jack Kim, an Alaskan furrier, when Air Force One stopped in Anchorage to refuel in November 1974 in route to Japan to meet Emperor Hirohito and then to the Siberian town of Vladivostok to meet General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev. In Vladivostok, Ford noticed that Brezhnev admired the coat gave it to him before he left. Mr. Kim sent this replacement coat to President Ford in December 1974.
