The President requests me to ask you to be good
enough to send to him as soon as feasible a special re-
port regarding the charges made against Indian Agent
H. D. Chamberlain, referred to in the accompanying
papers from Chief White Ghost of the Crow Creek Reserva-
tion, S. D.
Please return the papers to this office with your
report.
