HERMITS
(Preheat oven to 350 - 375)
1/2 cup butter (geherous)
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 cups flour, sifted twice
one
2 whole eggs
1 scant cup buttermilk
is
1 scant teaspoon soda in milk
1/2 cup nuts chopped
1/2 1b. seedless raisins
1 large teaspoon cinnamon
1 large teaspoon allspice
1 large teaspoon cloves
Drop on cookie sheet and bake, about 25 minutes.
