Mr. J. Vivian Truman
Grandview
Missouri
Dear Mr. Truman:
(
In line with your conversation I am enclosing Assessment
blank, which the President has evecuted. I delivered your
message to him. If this return is not made out the way
you think it should be, just return to me with your sugges-
tions and I will take up with The President.
Now Mr. Truman do I understand this is the return that
was to have been filed Feb. 15, 1947 and will be paid in
1948 or later in 1947.

What about 1946 - shall we just let it go - we did not pay
a personal ta in 1946.
I expect to get into the farm transaction this week.
Getting back to the personal ta matter - in January 1948 should
I write and request the blanks and return prior to Feb. 15, 1948.
After you get this matter straightened out, I don't want to over-
look having the proper forms evecuted and filed.
