Sorry to hear of so much
illness in our family connections. I
called up J.C. to ask about Vivian. He
said it was just a dizzy spell but
that Ralph might have a brain turnor.
Poor Ralph I hope they are mis-
taken. Truman Ray lands wife has
been in the university of Kansas Hos
pital for almost two months. a horse

a copy of "The Man of Indepen- have al -
dence". It came today. We
ready read a lot in it. We don't a
gree with it always but find it very
interesting reading, It is on a
higher level than many other books
