Burrus: I aa writing to you oa behaif of Mrs. Christine Vallace, who has conferred with no for the purpose of proper curing her appointment as Guardian for her child, Margo. I advised her that be could surely proceed promptly to appoint bor as Margo's guardian for the purpose of deiving distribution of the above designated weake to whites else is entitled under the teres of the will. In such sveet, I had to inform her that this sizer's estate was to the control and suparvision of the County Court and this that for ber appointment as such guard diam abo would have to put up & bond - usually twice the velse of the estate case keep the estate open probably eatil the child have reached her majority, furnish periodic reporte to tae court setting forth disbursements out of the assets of the ainor's state, applying to the court for the right to invade these assets of the niaor's wate for ber sole use and benefit, etc. of course, you are familier with the involvements in such case. She was most apprehensive of such comiequesces upon opening the estate for Margo, and perticularly the expenditures and burdens which would be involved. Upoa carefully analysing the Last will of. the decedent, Freak 0. Wallace, and these provisions which sake bequasts or dévises to Margo, I should like to suggest a possible solution for your considorstion. I know the Mrs. Vallace is most anxious to cooperate in every WAY to expedite the matter and, of course, she has the utmost faith and trust in your handling of this estate and your judgeest. d se also cogaisant of the importance of protecting and absol- ving the executor of any possible liability sad X know boy delicate a matter it is to fulfill this responsibility are coursel and at the same time obtain a satisfactory resuAt for all parties concerned.
