Sister-in-Law of Mrs. Truman Was a Native of Inde- pendence. Mrs. Natalie Wallace, 68 years old, 601 West Truman road, Independence, wife of Frank G. Wallace, a former officer of the Waggoner-Gates Milling company, died shortly before noon at the Independ- ence hospital. Mr. Wallace is a brother of Mrs. Harry S. Tru- man. Mrs. Wallace entered the hospital on May 4 and under- went major surgery about two weeks ago. She was a native of Inde- pendence and a daughter of Albert M. Ott, sr., who was a former president of the Chrisman-Sawyer bank and a lawyer. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. George Henkes, Henrietta, Okla.; half brother, Albert M. Ott, ir a 804 West Waldo, Independence, and a half sister, Mrs. Frederick P Barnes, 3109 West Sixty-ninth street, Johnson County.
