Oct 9 ADDRESS OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS TO THE SECRE ARY OF STATE DEPARTMENT OF STATE 12.15 WASHINGTON 25, D.C. WASHINGTON October 4, 1951 MEMORANDUM FOR MR. CONNELLY: x His Excellency Feridun C. Erkin, Ambassador of the Turkish Republic, has requested an appointment with the President. If the appointment is granted the Honorable George C. McGhee, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern, South Asian and African Affairs, will accompany the Ambassador.
