AIR MAIL THE FOREIGN SERVICE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AMERICAN EMBASSY Mexico, D.F., August 9, 1945. Dear Mr. Connelly: Commander Horsky and Lieutenant Siegl of the staff of Justice Jackson have been here to get statements from me in connection with the trials of the German war criminals. We prepared two statements, one on Austria and one on Germany. Of the one on Austria, I do not have a copy here now but I expect to have one available shortly to send you. Of the one on Germany, I am sending you herewith a copy. It is much too long for the President to read but I am hoping that you will find time to read it and if you think that the President will not be interested in reading it, you may wish to bring it to the attention of those of the President's associates and advisors who may be interested therein. I am also sending a copy to Secretary of State Byrnes. With all good wishes, Cordially and faithfully yours, George'S.
