NATIONAL TRUMAN TERMARY U.S. Dear Mr. Palmer: Attached are two tables containing information you requested concerning the 341 persons named on the list you left with the Chief of the Investigations Division on September 12, 1950. Table I shows the number of persons on your list who were employed, according to our records, at the time we received the Federal Bureau of Investigation list of April 10, 1950, or at the time we received FBI Forms T-2 subsequent to April 1950, and the number of those listed who were not employed, at such time, according to our records. Table II provides an accounting of the consideration of the cases of persons named on your list who were employed at the time information concerning them was received in the Commission. This table shows the number of such persons who have been separated, the number of such persons who have been retained, and the number of such persons for whom the reports of consideration of the arrest records have not yet been received. The figures in this column are included contained only 261 of these names. The person not separately so as to separate them from cases received from named on the Department of Justice list was employed the FBI on its list of April 10, 1950, and to account for in the Executive Branch of the Federal civil service other names appearing on the Department of Justice list of as of April 15, 1950, per our records. Therefore, September 12, 1950, in those cases where the Commission had our records indicated there were 186 of these persons received arrest records after April 1950 but prior to employed in the Executive Branch at that time. receipt of the Department of Justice list. 2) Employing agencies have advised that 12 of these persons were separated prior to April 15, 1950, the date of search of our records. In these cases report of separation had not been processed in the Commission on the date of search of our records.
